But then the locked window flashed, and Moropo escaped the lock again. Wang Yao was stunned. He had never seen anything like this before. He quickly locked again, but Moropo's image still flashed and disappeared. What the heck! He couldn't lock on?
"Tap tap tap..." The system notification sounded.
"The host is to help Moloppo find a partner. Moloppo is born a loner. If the host wants to force the connection, the host can break the fate of being born a loner in the following ways: First, destiny; second, fortune; third, feng shui."
"First is fate, second is luck, third is feng shui"—it's like the system didn't say anything at all. Wang Yao was dumbfounded. He wasn't a master like Ru Yuan who knew anything about fate or feng shui. He went through all the magical arts he had, but none of them were related to this. He had really run into a problem.
He was in a dilemma, and he felt the spiritual energy above his head rushing around at an alarming rate. He had no choice but to quickly cut off the "sensing" and decided to go to the market to meet with Moropo.
Wang Yao turned his head and saw that Hui Shuo was sleeping soundly. This guy had to get up to brush his teeth, wash his face and eat breakfast, so he found a piece of paper and wrote a note with the pencil stub provided in the hotel room. He put it on the coffee table, saying that he had something to do and that Hui Shuo should eat breakfast by himself and wait for him at the hotel.
Fearing that Hui Shuo might not see it, he simply took out a thousand yuan to weigh down the note before hurriedly leaving the inn and heading towards the market.
Having already traversed the area once using his spiritual power, Wang Yao knew the way well and arrived at Molupo's stall without much trouble. He didn't go up to greet them directly, but instead observed them from the side first.
After all, the widower was a ferocious monster, so he needed to figure out what was going on with this lone wolf first. He carefully sensed Mo Luopo from the side and found that he was clean and refreshed, unlike Ni Zhenlu, who was accompanied by a fiery shadow as soon as he appeared.
Moreover, Molupo was a kind man, and his fish prices were not expensive. Wang Yao heard the shouts and bargaining around him and found that Molupo's prices were a few cents cheaper than others. However, after observing for about ten minutes, not a single woman visited his stall.
It's important to understand that in a small county like Ziqiang County, women still primarily do housework in families. In the mornings, eight or nine out of ten people wandering around the vegetable market are women. When these women walk past Molupo's stalls, it's as if they've all been greeted, and they all choose to ignore them.
Even though men came up to ask the price, and Moropo's price was cheaper than others, the women seemed not to hear them, or perhaps they thought Moropo's fish wasn't fresh. They just kept going to the stalls next to him, and none of them even came up to ask the price.
However, Molopo wasn't in a hurry. He had a cigarette dangling from his mouth and waited there with a smile. Wang Yao observed for a while, then finally made up his mind and walked over with a smile.
"Business isn't so good, is it?" Wang Yao said with a smile.
“I’m used to it.” Moropo smiled, looking at Wang Yao with a puzzled expression.
Wang Yao hasn't changed his outfit since becoming an immortal. It's just average in Huadu, with neither his shirt nor pants being designer brands, but it stands out in Ziqiang County.
It's not that there aren't people dressed like him in Ziqiang County, but rather that people dressed like him usually don't come to the market at this time of year.
"You...buy fish?" Mo Luopo asked hesitantly, watching Wang Yao examine the large basin of crucian carp on his stall, which was slightly longer than a palm.
“No…” Wang Yao shook his head. “I’m more interested in you than your fish. I’ve noticed that not a single woman has come to buy your fish. Is there something wrong with your fish?”
Upon hearing Wang Yao say such a thing, Molopo's expression visibly stiffened.
“My fish were just caught from the Three-Eyed Pond, they’re all wild, so there’s nothing wrong with them. If you’re not buying fish, don’t cause trouble here,” Molupo said.
"Since there's nothing wrong with your fish, why hasn't a single woman come to buy it?" Wang Yao persisted, asking further.
“I…I told you if you’re not buying fish, then…then don’t cause trouble here. I…I still have business to do…” Moropo’s voice was clearly a little impatient, but he wasn’t an impatient person, so he seemed to stutter a bit.
“There’s plenty of time to do business, but you’re already forty. If you don’t deal with not being liked by women now, you won’t have time later,” Wang Yao said with a smile in a low voice.
"What...what are you doing here, kid? Are you not leaving? I...I'm kicking you out!" Mo Luopo's face suddenly turned red. He was a well-known old bachelor in Ziqiang County, especially in this vegetable market, and he thought some hooligan had come to tease him.
"Hey! How much are your fish?" A man suddenly came over and asked the price. Molop quickly turned around to make a sale. The man bought two fish, and Molop busied himself cleaning them for him. After handing over the fish and taking the money, he turned his head and saw Wang Yao still standing there with a smile.
“Young man, don’t make fun of me here. I have business to do. Go have fun somewhere else,” Molopo sighed and pleaded.
"I'm not making fun of you. I came all the way from Huadu just to amuse you? Would I be out of my mind?" Wang Yao laughed.
“Huadu? Then... then what are you doing here?” Mo Luopo had already noticed that Wang Yao’s accent was off, but he didn’t doubt his claim that he was from Huadu. He frowned and asked.
"Didn't I just tell you? I came here specifically to find a solution to your problem of not being liked by women," Wang Yao said.
"Hey! Young man, have some mercy, can you please stop talking? It's so early in the morning, I haven't even earned my stall fee yet, I don't have the mind to joke around with you." Upon hearing this, Mo Luopo's face fell, and he said to Wang Yao.
