The fairy maiden and Wang Yao's figures flickered and moved forward in the corridor. Not far after passing the fork in the road leading to the construction area, Wang Yao spotted Wu Ying and Qin Su. However, he didn't see the two of them first, but rather heard a series of shrill screams echoing in the corridor.
Wang Yao recognized Qin Su's voice immediately; she was clearly in the middle stage of the corpse aura syndrome and had transformed into a vengeful ghost. Hearing the cry, the fairy's expression changed, and she led Wang Yao in a flash. In the corridor ahead, a little yellow figure was hopping and skipping towards them.
Behind the Minions, Wang Yao saw a blue work shirt floating in mid-air in the stairwell. Qin Su was howling and hitting the shirt, but the work shirt was very agile and dodged left and right, always escaping Qin Su's grasp.
With a "glass" move, Wang Yao turned the little yellow man into a chimney, then jumped over and blocked Qin Su's way. At this moment, Qin Su's long hair was disheveled, her face was dark blue, and her eyes were full of white irises, making her look extremely ferocious.

“She is now in a severe stage,” the fairy said from the side.
Wang Yao casually removed the blue work clothes that were draped over Wu Ying's head. Wu Ying stared at Qin Su lying on the ground, his expression changing drastically.
"Oh dear, how did it happen so fast? She hasn't been in the intermediate stage for long. Just now, she covered my head with her clothes to cover me from the corpse puppets!"
"Let's leave here first." The fairy had been somewhat absent-minded since entering the Underworld District. Now that she had found Qin Su and Wu Ying, she was unwilling to linger here any longer and immediately said.
"Don't leave Qin Su behind, take us directly to the Immortal Physician," Wang Yao said hurriedly.
"Do you need to tell me?" the fairy muttered. With a swift movement, Wang Yao saw a colorful ribbon appear in her hand, connecting Qin Su on the ground, Wu Ying in the air, and Wang Yao together. Then, the fairy gave a soft shout, and Wang Yao's vision blurred.
When I opened my eyes again, a commotion filled my ears. All I could see were ghosts, all of them noisily blocking the hallway, busy with something I couldn't tell what.
"Dean Li, come here quickly!" the fairy called out.
"The team leader is here! The team leader must have a solution!" Dean Li's voice suddenly rang out from among the ghosts.
As the ghosts made way for the sound, Wang Yao saw Dean Li standing among them, his face grim. Gu Qi was bowing down to Dean Li, as if he had something to ask of him.
Upon seeing the fairy, Dean Li felt as if he had seen a savior and hurriedly walked towards her.
"Team leader, this judge insists that I go upstairs, saying that the upstairs area is being attacked by spirits. I said that I am just a doctor and cannot deal with spirits, but he will not listen to my explanation and insists that I leave. I can't even carry out my normal treatment work." Dean Li complained to the fairy as he walked.
"Fairy Maiden? Oh, Fairy Maiden, where have you been? I've been looking for you everywhere!" Gu Qi exclaimed with delight upon seeing the Fairy Maiden, and followed Dean Li over.
"Your Honor, the Immortal Physician can't leave! The corpse energy on floor zero hasn't been completely extinguished. It was all thanks to the Immortal Physician's magic that everyone survived. If the Immortal Physician leaves, we're all doomed!" The Lord of the Samsara Path suddenly shouted from the side.
“Old Kan, I think there’s something wrong with your thinking. As subordinates, shouldn’t we risk our lives to protect our leaders? Now that there’s danger upstairs, what does it matter if Dean Li is gone? Isn’t there still a divine doctor in this underworld district, and… and the God of Love?”
Gu Qi rebuked the Dao Master of the Samsara Path, then turned to see Wang Yao, smiled and nodded at him, including Wang Yao in his words.
"Old Li, please treat her first," the fairy said, pointing to Qin Su on the ground.
"Oh." Dean Li nodded, squatted down to examine Qin Su's condition, "Hmm, she hasn't been in the severe stage for long. I'll use the ghoul rats to draw out the corpse energy from her body first."
As he spoke, Dean Li took out a shiny object and put it in his mouth. The object made a "chirping" sound. Wang Yao looked closely and realized that the shiny object was actually a whistle.
Gu Qi was about to speak with the fairy when he saw the female ghost lying on the ground and was taken aback.
"This... isn't this the ghost soldier who deserted in the face of battle? This is... captured by the two immortals? But I didn't know... Huh? You genius, you actually dare to show up again?" Gu Qi was speaking when he noticed Wu Ying hiding behind Wang Yao and the fairy, and immediately became furious.
He moved with lightning speed, trying to pounce on Wuying. Wuying was so startled that she dodged her head back, but the fairy maiden had already frowned and stood in front of Guqi.
"Little Gu, what's wrong with you? How dare you kill ghosts in front of me? Have you no manners?" the fairy maiden shouted.
Seeing that the fairy was angry, Gu Qi quickly suppressed his murderous intent and bowed to her.
“My Lady Fairy, you are unaware of the truth. This ghost on the ground is a serious criminal whom Lord Pingdeng personally ordered to be executed. I was just pronouncing her crimes and was about to bring her to justice when, unexpectedly, this ghost was so audacious that, taking advantage of her speed and my urgent business, she snatched her away and escaped.”
