Chapter 170 Willow Leaf Ferry

“There’s a passage to the seventeenth floor of your underworld at Wuling Pass. Come down quickly, and I’ll lead you there,” a rough voice called from outside the cabin.

Wang Yao and the others stood up and crawled out of the cabin one after another. They felt a gust of cold wind hit their faces. It was night outside. They found that the awning boat was moored on a frozen river, and snowflakes kept hitting them.

"This way!" The rough voice rang out again, and Wang Yao then noticed a man wearing a straw hat and a raincoat standing in the darkness not far away. Because of the surrounding snow and ice, it was impossible to tell whether the man was standing on the river or on the bank.

Several people jumped off the covered boat and walked towards the man, their footsteps crunching through the snow. The man waved to them and led them into the darkness. The snow fell heavier and heavier, and the wind howled mournfully.

The road was lined with lush trees and covered in snow, making the path uneven and slippery. However, since everyone present was either an immortal or a ghost general, and the Shadowless One was only a head, he moved with ease and speed.

Upon reaching a bend in the mountainside, the view suddenly opened up, and Wang Yao could see a majestic pass standing silently in the darkness between two mountains not far away. On the watchtower of the pass, there were scattered lights that spread downwards, illuminating the military tents that stretched out in front of and behind the pass.

Each military tent was illuminated by firelight, creating a magnificent scene like a galaxy in the darkness, which dazzled Wang Yao for a moment.

"This time, the demon cubs sent a large army to attack. Commander Yue set up an ambush at Wuling Pass and won several battles. If he hadn't been unable to get away, given his temperament, he would have asked the God Lord for permission to go to the underworld to face the calamity upon learning of it."

Seeing that Wang Yao had stopped and was staring blankly at the scenery below the mountain, the man in the straw raincoat did not urge him but laughed from the side.
