"Ugh, it stinks! I'd better go back." The fairy's voice suddenly rang in his ears. Wang Yao looked around blankly. King Qin Guang and King Yama had arrived before him. Where were they?
"Snap!" Another sound like a snap of fingers rang in his ears, and Wang Yao suddenly realized that he was in a pile of corpses, surrounded by layers of ghost corpses, but this did not affect the warm light above him, and King Qin Guang and King Yama were right beside him.
Then Song Diwang arrived as well. Their bodies, like those of the ghostly corpses, were almost transparent and overlapped with Wang Yao's body. Wang Yao reached out to touch them but couldn't reach them.

Upon hearing King Qin Guang's words, Wang Yao suddenly remembered that back then, in the alley next to the Grand Hotel, if it weren't for Hui Shuo chanting sutras, he wouldn't have been able to see those mountains of corpses. "Then could you slow down the drawing of the forbidden runes? Once the runes are drawn, the cost of washing them off is enormous. To Wang Yao's astonishment, what followed was actually the anxious voice of King Qin Guang.

He steadied himself and looked around. He saw rows of concrete pillars around him, with cars parked neatly beneath them. He was in an underground parking lot, where the light was dim, with only a few energy-saving lights on.
The orange light he saw was an incandescent bulb that had been temporarily added next to the manhole cover.
