Chapter 216 Tyranny

"Um... well... okay, okay, then... please feel free, Fairy, I... I'll go." Dean Li's face flushed red and then turned pale after what the Fairy said, so he could only laugh it off and turn to leave.

"Fairy Maiden, when you went to see King Yama, did you know that the Ghost King who led the way has arrived?" Wang Yao, seeing that things were almost done, planned to go up to the tenth floor.

"They've arrived. I had him wait outside to maintain order. A bunch of ghosts have blocked the road completely, making it very difficult for them to come in," the fairy said.

"Oh, in that case I'll go up to the tenth floor. There's one more thing I need you to do for me." Wang Yao nodded and entrusted the matter of the little ghost Fang Chengxian to the fairy. "I can't rest easy until Fang Chengxian is reincarnated. I'll figure out a way to handle his fate."

"Oh dear, didn't Lao Qin say he'd take care of Fang Chengxian's matter? Why are you bothering me again?" the fairy said impatiently.

“After all, this was the only wish of the man in green robes before he died. I won’t feel at ease until I get it done for him. Originally, I wanted to watch him reincarnate with my own eyes, but now it’s all because of you, the captain. Why don’t I wait a bit before going up to the tenth floor and take care of Fang Chengxian’s matter first?” Wang Yao said.

"Oh dear, I'm scared of you. Fine, fine, you just go up to the tenth floor. I'll keep an eye on Fang Chengxian's matter for you," the fairy said irritably. "Look at your fussy attitude. If only you were this attentive to my husband Lao Lü's affairs."

"Don't worry! I'll definitely care more about Director Lü's matter than this. What's the relationship between you and your husband? We're sworn brothers, how could I not care?" Wang Yao said with a smile.

"Good to know!" The fairy nodded in deep agreement.

Wang Yao called Hui Shuo and Qin Su, and together with the fairy, they left the temporary battlefield hospital and indeed met the Ghost King at the mouth.

The ghost king was a middle-aged man who looked somewhat dull. He was wearing a gray jacket and stood at the entrance of several doors. He was silent, but no ghost dared to approach him, which naturally created a smooth road in and out of the hospital.

"Third Master, this is the Matchmaker. You will go up to the tenth floor with them. King Yama has already told you what to do, right?" the fairy said to the ghost king.

"Understood!" The Ghost King bowed to the Fairy Maiden, then looked at Wang Yao. "Lord Yue Lao, shall we set off now?"

Wang Yao nodded.

"There's a path leading directly to the human realm from here in the Western Sixth District. Shall we go from here?" the Ghost King asked again.

“I’ve walked this path of etiquette before, no problem.” Wang Yao agreed, then bid farewell to the fairy and headed with the Ghost King to the exit of the path of etiquette in the West Sixth District.

The exit of the corridor wasn't far from here, and the Ghost King didn't use any speed spells, leading Wang Yao and the others along the corridor.

"I heard the fairy call you three times? Is that your name?" Wang Yao asked the ghost king as they walked. After all, they had been traveling together, so he needed to know how to address her, otherwise it would be troublesome to call her name if needed.

"Not bad." The Ghost King was not one for many words. He simply answered with two words and then said nothing more. Wang Yao originally wanted to inquire about the origin of the name "Three Heads," but after thinking about it, he decided against it. He didn't want to settle down in the underworld anyway, and it was really pointless to learn so much about ghosts.

The four of them passed through the ceremonial path and arrived at the karaoke room in the human realm. Wang Yao found that it was still closed, with the aluminum alloy roller shutter door locked. The four of them didn't need to go out. They went directly from the karaoke room's lobby to another corridor, pushed open a small door, and went up to the office area on the second floor.

I entered the celestial realm through the toilet that was always under repair, and then went up to the tenth floor from there. When I came out, I was still in the movie theater, where a blockbuster from the Western world was playing alone.

The only audience member was the guide who led them up to the tenth floor. Although Wang Yao and his companions were accompanied by a ghost king, he didn't pay much attention to them.

He paused the film, lazily inquired about Wang Yao and his group's destination, then led the four out of the screening room, summoned a carriage, and accompanied them to the creative group.

When they arrived at the city gate, the fake ghost corpses piled up at the city gate were still there. When the guide saw that the group leader was not on the city gate, he became a little impatient and turned around to bow to Wang Yao and the others.

"Lord Ghost King, Lord Immortal, Master Gao supervises the fortune-telling in the creation group every day. You can go in and search slowly; you'll eventually find him. I have other matters to attend to at the entrance, so I won't keep you company any longer," the guide said.

"That's not appropriate!" The three men shook their heads with grim faces.

"Everyone is a fish in the ocean. They cross the entire ocean just to meet. I've met Gao Qunzhu too many times, so there's no need for me to wait here any longer." The guide showed an unhappy expression and said another seemingly plausible movie line.

"The phone," the third one said.

Wang Yao realized that these three Ghost Kings were indeed sparing with words; they were subtly reminding the guide to make a phone call and summon the group leader, Gao, over.

"Happy people call only for love, and I'm calling for work?" Jieyin looked at the Ghost King with a stunned expression. "Do you know what the most despicable thing in this world is? Forcing others to do things they don't want to do, and then making them pay for it!"

"Hurry up!" the three-headed ghost king said calmly, his aura slowly spreading out. The guide's expression changed immediately. He looked at the ghost king in disbelief and shakily pulled his phone out of his pocket.

"Civilization is always being violated by barbarism. When will we learn to respect and cherish each other?" Jieyin muttered to himself, then dialed a number on his phone.

“Master Gao, a Ghost King is waiting for you at the entrance. Who among us knows what the future holds? If we could all know the future, what would be the point of being a ghost…” Jieyin was about to continue, but presumably the other end had already hung up, so he stopped abruptly and looked at the Ghost King.
