Seeing Lady Lian's imposing presence, Li Kui's tone immediately softened considerably. He changed his self-address from "Grandpa" to "I, Laozi," and his condemnation of the Yi clan shifted from threats of force to moral denunciation.
He guessed that he had made a promise to these rats from the TV station before leaving, so he couldn't save face for a moment and hurriedly reached out to help the rats who had fallen up.
"Wang Yao, is this your companion?" Lady Lian turned to ask Wang Yao. She knew Wang Yao's identity and purpose in coming to the demon realm. When she heard Li Kui introduce himself and found that he was the same as Wang Yao, she couldn't help but ask him.
"Uh...that..." Wang Yao was so frustrated. He really wanted to deny it on the spot. This was too embarrassing. If he had known that Fairy Maiden would send this guy, he would have definitely told Wuying to refuse firmly. This guy was simply a troublemaker who was good for nothing.

“That’s right!” Li Kui answered loudly.
"That's good. What did you just say? That you told my Yi tribe not to attack the Shu tribe?" Lady Lian nodded her big head and then asked.
"Yes, do you know that the wars between your various tribes are all due to the schemes of treacherous people? I came here specifically to make your tribes cease fighting and not fall into the trap of these treacherous people."
"I've put a lot of effort into this, and I even brought a film crew from the Shu ethnic TV station here. I wanted to analyze the cause and effect with you so that I could expose the villain's evil scheme to the whole mainland. But you've done the opposite, smashing the equipment and now the TV show can't be filmed."
Li Kui complained and spread his hands at Lady Lian.
"Hmm, in that case, I was indeed rash." Lady Lian nodded her large head again.

"Resurrected? How is that possible? People can't come back to life, even... even demons... it's the same..." Li Kui sensed something was off about Lady Lian's tone and stammered in response.
"You didn't say that either? Hahaha! That's a joke. The Shu Clan can attack, destroy, and kill the Yi Clan whenever they want. When the Yi Clan wants to retaliate, they send you, this inexplicable immortal, to negotiate peace. What does the Shu Clan think of the Yi Clan? And what do you, this immortal, think of yourself?"
Lady Lian kept asking questions amidst her loud laughter, but there was no trace of laughter in her voice.
“I…I am the deputy captain of the Heavenly Court investigation team, a…a division-level researcher…I…I wasn’t sent by the Shu Clan, it was…it was myself…that…traitor…traitor’s conspiracy…the Shu Clan…the Shu Clan has…already…unconditionally…unconditionally…”
Li Kui was still putting on a brave face, but his sunglasses had unknowingly slipped down to his nose.
