Since the Shu clan had already gone to such lengths, Li Kui certainly couldn't let them down. So Li Kui immediately patted his chest and assured the director that he should arrange the bodyguards. He said that if anyone dared to touch a hair on the bodyguards' head, the two axes behind him were not to be trifled with.
After all, Li Kui still missed the days back in Liangshan, when brothers would fight and go out with a huge group of people, surrounded by followers, which looked incredibly impressive! This director was quick to understand the immortal's wishes and immediately complied, thus satisfying Li Kui's nostalgic sentiments.
Finally, the Chief of the Shu Clan even arranged an interview team for Li Kui, saying it was to keep a close eye on the Immortal's movements in the Yi Clan. After all, the Yi Clan were one of the few barbaric tribes in the demon realm. If they found the Immortal in danger, the Shu Clan would do everything in their power, even if it meant exterminating the entire clan, to rescue him.
Hearing this, Li Kui almost burst into tears. Even his own parents weren't as close as these rats from the Shu tribe. They not only provided him with a motorcade and luxury cars, but also bodyguards. Not only that, they even provided reporters. They had everything he needed, both inside and out!
Although the director ultimately regretted that, due to the Shu tribe's fierce resistance against the Yi tribe's invasion, no powerful figures could be assigned to Li Kui, Li Kui was not about to argue with him. What did he need powerful figures for? He was a real, undisputed powerful figure, after all.
Everything was unbelievably perfect, and when they encountered the B clan warriors, his group truly intimidated them.
Seeing the gleaming convoy, the extended version of the "Rat-shaped Treasure" motorcycle, the bodyguards in sharp suits and sunglasses, and Meng Lan, the sharp-tongued TV reporter pointing around with a microphone, not one of the fierce and shrewish Yi tribe warriors dared to make a move.
If it weren't for Lady Lian's arrival, the Yi and Shu tribes might have already made peace. Damn it, all the rats who followed him have turned into meat buns! How am I supposed to face that Director now? Li Kui was so frustrated he couldn't even speak.
It's all because of that damn Lady Lian! Lady Lian is nothing but a great demon who has never seen the world. Someone must be up to no good behind her back. Who is that person? Who else could it be but this guy surnamed Wang!
Damn it, look at Wang Yao's shifty face! He's definitely jealous of my position as section chief and deliberately sabotaged my plans to embarrass me. Didn't you see that in the end, Lady Lian still sent someone to the Shu tribe to sue for peace? That shows that Lady Lian still had the intention to make peace.
Now look what's happened! Even if the two tribes make peace, that whole bunch of rats are wiped out, and I'm too ashamed to go back! I've lost so much face, and that bastard still tries to make fun of me with some lousy book! If I'd known this would happen, I should have just chopped you up with an axe!
Li Kui, holding the talisman, sat down on the ground, feeling dizzy. He had no interest in the talisman at all; he was just getting angrier and angrier, and the more he looked at Wang Yao, the more resentful he became. Suddenly, he shouted and threw the talisman away, grabbing a pair of large axes from his back.
Seeing Li Kui sitting there with an unpredictable expression, Wang Yao felt a sense of unease and wondered what kind of trouble this guy was up to. Then he saw Li Kui throw away the scribbled talisman, and he immediately panicked.
The talisman was the only clue to breaking the Ape-Elephant Divine Talisman. If it was thrown away, what would happen to the talisman? Wang Yao hurriedly jumped over to snatch the talisman, but unexpectedly, Li Kui had already raised his double axes and slashed down at Wang Yao's face.
"Big brother, be careful!" A soft cry of alarm suddenly rang out in the darkness. A dark shadow, almost invisible to the naked eye, flew swiftly from afar, seemingly trying to rescue Wang Yao. But it was too late. Li Kui's axe was about to strike Wang Yao squarely between the eyebrows.
"Ouch!" Wu Guang screamed and suddenly stopped, only to see Li Kui's axe sliding diagonally to the side from Wang Yao's forehead.
"What the hell are you doing?" Wang Yao shouted at Li Kui, gripping the talisman tightly, then looked at Madam Lian's large head. "Madam, don't do it! That's my sister!"
"I'm going to fucking kill you!" Li Kui didn't understand what was going on, but he kept yelling and swung his double axes down again.
"Can't you save your energy?" Wang Yao glanced at the blockhead and went to pick up the ape-elephant talisman that was placed aside.
Seeing his axe blows slid away as they struck Wang Yao, Li Kui was momentarily stunned when he suddenly saw Wang Yao picking up the Ape-Elephant Divine Talisman. He was overjoyed and immediately had an idea.
This kid is using this talisman to swindle and deceive people, and he got that powerful demon to protect him. I'm going to destroy this talisman now, let's see what you're so arrogant about.
Thinking this, Li Kui swung his axe to the side, leaped forward, and chopped down heavily on the ape-elephant talisman resting on Lady Lian's shoulder.
"not good!"
Wang Yao was shocked. Although he had a "good guy" protecting him, he was no match for Li Kui, who was agile and quick. This guy was known as "Black Whirlwind" and was indeed like a whirlwind. A black light flashed and with a "cough", thousands of rays of light appeared on Lady Lian's shoulder.
"What are you doing?" Lady Lian shouted, and Wang Yao felt as if the world was spinning. He fell to the ground with a thud, and before he could even cast "Immortal Travel" on himself, he saw red branches flying wildly in front of him.
These branches tied up Hui Shuo, Qing He, and Li Kui respectively, and then tried to tie up Wang Yao, but Wang Yao had "good people" protecting him, so the branches slipped off his body, and they couldn't tie him up after a long time.
"Help...help me!" Hui Shuo woke up with a start, completely unaware of what had happened. He was being tossed around by red branches, and could only scream for help while waving his arms and legs.
