Chapter 282 Fishing

"You... Ouch..." A soldier stepped forward to pull Wang Yao away, but unexpectedly, Wang Yao was "good guy" and the soldier missed his target, almost losing his footing and falling down.

Wang Yao ignored it, found the stairs, and started walking down the steps one by one.

Several more fox soldiers approached, blocking Wang Yao from all sides, but they couldn't touch him at all. These uniformed foxes swayed and jostled around him, but they couldn't stop Wang Yao's downward steps.

"This immortal is strange! Quickly notify the higher-ups!" A soldier shouted anxiously as Wang Yao was about to walk out of the building. One of the soldiers received the order and hurriedly ran upstairs, while the rest continued to follow Wang Yao.

"Halt!" A row of Liang soldiers stood in front of the first-floor door, the leader in a black trench coat glaring at Wang Yao and shouting. Behind him, the Liang soldiers raised their weapons, their fox-like eyes all aiming menacingly at Wang Yao.

"Damn it, so this is how you treat immortals? I get it now. If you have the guts, just shoot!" Wang Yao couldn't help but laugh in anger. Even in the Yi Clan, when Lady Lian suspected him of being a spy for the Zhang Huang Clan, it was Lady Lian who personally took action against him.

The Liang tribe is seriously underestimating themselves. They actually sent a bunch of foxes that haven't fully evolved yet, and only let one powerful being lead them. They're treating the village chief like he's not a real official. If I can be beaten to death here by you foxes, I'll never be able to survive in the demon realm again.

Wang Yao didn't even glance at the dark gun barrels pointing at him, and just kept walking forward. He heard a "click" as a group of Fox soldiers cocked their guns.

"Wait a minute!" The man in the black trench coat hurriedly raised his hand to stop his men. He watched as Wang Yao walked step by step in front of him, his once handsome face now contorted in a grimace. The Liang soldiers, holding their guns, had bewildered expressions on their fox-like faces.

Wang Yao was practically laughing himself to death. He walked straight to the man in the black trench coat, raised his hand to push aside the two gun barrels pointing at him, squeezed past the two Liang soldiers blocking the door, and stepped out.

As Wang Yao walked onto the main street of Liangzu Nandu City, he was followed by a large group of Liangzu soldiers. Some of these guys were carrying guns, while others were empty-handed. There was also a powerful Liangzu soldier in a black trench coat who was holding a cell phone and making a call furtively behind the group.

Knowing they couldn't stop Wang Yao, the group stopped making moves and simply followed him, much like a large group of soldiers parading through the streets.

"Hey, how do I get to the train station?" Wang Yao didn't know where the train station was in Nandu City, so he turned to ask a soldier walking next to him. The soldier stared at Wang Yao with his big, fox-like eyes, not daring to say a word.

Having no other option, Wang Yao went to ask the pedestrians on the street, but when they saw the large group of fierce-looking men around Wang Yao, they didn't dare to play the fox. They all stammered at Wang Yao, shook their heads, and fled in panic. Wang Yao was at his wit's end.

He had no choice but to wander along the main street, carefully observing the signs along the way, intending to find the train station on his own.

After wandering aimlessly around the streets for a long time, Wang Yao made a point of not retracing his steps. He had just rounded another T-junction when a three-story, antique-style building came into view, with a large plaque hanging above the entrance.

The top line reads "Nanjing City Museum" in large characters.

Before Wang Yao transmigrated, besides being a big fan of online novels, he also had a little hobby: visiting museums. However, he only talked about this hobby; apart from the museums in his own city, he hadn't had time to visit any other museums before his transmigration.

Upon suddenly seeing the museum of the demon realm, Wang Yao was somewhat tempted. After all, according to his hobby, he definitely wanted to go in and take a good look, to fully understand the history and antique collection of this Liangzu Nandu City.

Moreover, he said he was going to the train station, but he was actually just trying to hook Qinghe's father. Fishing, of course, requires patience. Why not just visit this museum first and wait for the fish to bite?

Thinking this, Wang Yao immediately started walking towards the museum, followed by a large group of soldiers.

"Mr. Moon... that's the Southern Capital Museum, not the train station." A fox soldier nearby thought he didn't recognize the demon realm's writing and kept reminding him.

"Huh? You know where the train station is?" Wang Yao turned his head and asked with wide eyes.

"Uh..." The fox soldier quickly shut his mouth and followed Wang Yao up the marble steps in front of the museum.

"Hey! Do you have any reservations?" As a large group of soldiers surged over, the museum's security guards, gatekeepers, and a few female foxes who looked like tour guides quickly came up to ask.

Wang Yao didn't answer and walked straight into the gate. Just as the museum's managers were about to get angry, the man in the black trench coat at the back of the group jumped forward, took out a small black notebook, and waved it at the men.

Upon seeing the black book, these men immediately showed expressions of extreme awe and wisely shut their mouths, allowing Wang Yao to lead a large group of soldiers into the magnificent museum hall.

The museum hall was incredibly spacious, and facing the entrance was a huge mural, fifteen or sixteen meters high, depicting... damn it, a map of Nandu City? Wang Yao looked closely and saw that the train station was clearly marked on it, a fist-sized icon that was impossible to miss.

"Hmm... well..." Wang Yao was now conflicted. He stood there looking up at the mural, trying to figure out how to get to the train station from this museum. Judging from the picture in front of him, although Nandu City was large, its layout was not complicated.
