"Damn it, this is the only way!" Wang Yao flipped his hand and pulled out the interface panel. This was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. At this point, he couldn't let the Liang clan guys block him and Qinghe from going back. Everything could only wait until they reached the other side.
With a series of quick flicks of his fingers, he connected the several powerful Liang clan members who had surrounded him with marriage alliances.
"Keep going, don't stop!" Wang Yao sensed that Qinghe had slowed down when she saw the powerful figure rushing towards them, so he quickly reminded her.
As the powerful figures around him drew closer, especially the one in front who had opened his arms as if to embrace Wang Yao and his companion, the buttons on the powerful figure's uniform grew larger and larger in Wang Yao's eyes, and the fox head embossed on the buttons became clearer and clearer.
Wang Yao only had time to close his eyes before he felt his body suddenly rise upwards, followed by several loud thuds.
When he opened his eyes again, he found that he and Qinghe were still suspended in mid-air above the great river. Qinghe stared blankly at the great river below, where several powerful members of the Liang clan were huddled together, creating a violent splash.
They seemed to be playing in the water, or perhaps engaging in some indescribable, crazy activity.
"What...what have you done?" Qinghe asked Wang Yao with a complicated expression.
"Hurry up and go!" Wang Yao was too lazy to explain to her. He pointed to the other side of the river, and Qing He suddenly realized what was happening. She moved and flew across the river with Wang Yao.
"Hello, is this Wuying? This is Qinghe. I've entered the Shu tribe's territory. What? Directly to the embassy district of Cheese City? Okay, we'll head over right away... Who? Oh, it's the Matchmaker. He came with me. You want to talk to him? Oh, that's good. Let's go first."
After flying over the river and disappearing into a jungle, Qinghe confirmed that no Shu tribe army had discovered them. She then contacted Wuying and told him about Wang Yao's presence with her. To Wang Yao's surprise, Wuying did not ask to speak with him.
The Shu tribe truly lives up to its reputation as the most developed ethnic group in the Holy Land in terms of transportation. Even in this small border town, there is a train that goes directly to Cheese City. According to Qinghe, she still wanted to fly directly to Cheese City, but Wang Yao rejected her suggestion. Why take the risk when there is a car to take?
Flying in the demon realm is not a rare thing, so the Shu tribe must have air traffic control. Don't underestimate the Shu tribe just because they are a bunch of rats.
When Wang Yao entered the Shu tribe, he received a Shu tribe identity token, so he could easily enter the station by waving the token. However, Qing He did not have an identity token, and when she followed behind Wang Yao, she was blocked by the station's automatic barrier.
"Wait a moment..." Wang Yao looked around, searching for the organization inside the Cheese City Transportation Center that had received him before, wanting to get another identity token for Qinghe.
Unexpectedly, Qinghe nimbly jumped over the automatic fence, which was less than knee-high, and arrived at Wang Yao's side.
Wang Yao scratched his head and looked around. Well, this was indeed a small station. It was deserted. There wasn't a single rat policeman or even a rat passenger. It was a waste of Qinghe's lively jump.
The ticket window was closed, but there was a small door next to it that didn't seem to be closed very tightly. The two of them finally managed to knock it open with great effort, and a rat's head peeked out.
"Buy tickets? What kind of tickets?" Mouse Head blinked, looking at Wang Yao and the other man in confusion.
"A ticket to Cheese City?" Wang Yao was a little confused.
"You're not from the Shu tribe, are you?" Rat Head asked the two inquiringly.
“Yes, yes, I am an immortal, and she is from the Liang clan.” Wang Yao nodded hurriedly.
"Our Shu ethnic group treats foreigners and guests from other worlds with great respect. All foreign guests ride for free. Just tell the train conductor when you get on the train," Rat Head said to Wang Yao.
Damn, what a great thing! The Shu people are such a friendly group! Wang Yao nodded repeatedly, and after finding out the direction of the waiting room and the train number to Cheese City, he thanked Qinghe and went to the waiting room to wait for his train.
"You've never been to the Shu tribe before? How come you didn't know the Shu tribe had this custom?" Wang Yao asked Qinghe quietly as he sat in the waiting room, overjoyed.
Only then did he realize that he was completely broke. Although he had some Huangzu banknotes left from playing mahjong, he figured he wouldn't be able to use them in Shuzu. Luckily, foreign guests don't have to pay for transportation here, or he would have been mortified.
"How would I know?" Qinghe rolled her eyes at Wang Yao.
There wasn't a single rat in the waiting room. After waiting for a while, the two felt that the train was about to arrive, so they went to the platform from the waiting room. Soon, a train bound for Cheese City arrived.
Before boarding the train, Wang Yao and Qing He greeted the man with curly hair, who was wearing a train attendant's uniform, by the carriage door.
“We are foreign guests. I am an immortal, and this is from the Liang clan,” Wang Yao said with a smile to the rat.
"Foreign...guests?" The curly-haired rat stared at Wang Yao with wide, astonished eyes. "We...we're on a special train for migrant workers. There are no soft sleeper compartments, not even hard sleeper compartments. The fastest VIP train arrives here tomorrow morning at 8 a.m. You...why don't you wait for that one?"
"8 a.m. tomorrow?" Wang Yao blinked and looked at the sky. It was only four or five p.m. at most. He had to wait all night just to get a sleeper berth? What the hell was the point of a sleeper berth if he didn't need to sleep? He couldn't afford to waste any more time.
"No need, this is the one." Wang Yao shook his head repeatedly and was about to get on the bus.
"Oh dear, this is a special train for migrant workers. According to the rules, foreign guests are not allowed to ride it." The curly-haired rat immediately became nervous and tried to stop the two from boarding the train.
