Chapter 353 Forging

Never mind, I'll just pick some leaves to cover myself up. If Li Shishi and the others saw me like this, I'd be utterly humiliated.

Wang Yao quickly darted into the woods, using the leaves for cover while frantically tearing off branches and wrapping them around his waist. He didn't notice a large black mass rapidly approaching him from the distance, skimming along the ground.

Those black creatures were the size of mice, strangely shaped, some resembling animals, some plants, and some clearly rocks, yet they still seemed to be alive, forming a huge black carpet on the green earth, constantly moving forward.

They soon appeared at Wang Yao's location. The black blanket covered the forest and also the place where Wang Yao was hiding.

Wang Yao was currently wrapping a second branch around his waist. He realized that if he only wrapped it once, no matter how he covered it with branches and leaves, there was still a risk of being exposed. There were many gaps between the branches and leaves, and he needed to arrange several branches and leaves to completely block them.

"What the hell is that?" A black creature crawled onto Wang Yao's calf, which he kicked away. Then another black thing crawled up, and Wang Yao bent down and patted it, muttering to himself impatiently.

The black creatures climbed onto Wang Yao's body one after another, and no matter how hard he tried to pat them off, he couldn't get rid of them.

"What the hell is that?" Wang Yao jumped up and down, when suddenly a sharp pain came from his body. He had been bitten! Although the little thing's teeth were not sharp, Wang Yao was still shirtless and had no protection except for the two branches on his body.

"Ouch!" Wang Yao screamed as he was bitten several times at the same time. A rat-like creature actually tore a strip of flesh from his arm. The creature didn't rush to swallow it, but stared at Wang Yao with its big, dark eyes in a defiant manner.

"Damn it, I'm a celestial being, how could I be bitten so easily?" Wang Yao stared in astonishment at the black rat, and suddenly felt something crawling on his inner thigh.

Wang Yao was immediately horrified. Didn't he have two branches wrapped around him? He could no longer care about the black creatures ravaging his body. He hurriedly looked down to check his manhood. Just then, a small thing climbed down from above his head and looked at him with its head against his nose.

This little creature has a round, jet-black face, a pair of adorable, large, clear black and white eyes, and a pointed, protruding mouth that looks almost like a bird's beak. It tilts its head and curiously examines Wang Yao.

Wang Yao stared blankly at the thing, feeling that it was a combination of several animals he knew. It looked extremely strange. He patted his lower body while looking at the little thing with his eyes rolled.

Unexpectedly, the little creature suddenly tilted its neck back, its sharp beak suddenly protruding, and pecked fiercely at his eyes.

"Ah!" Wang Yao screamed, hurriedly grabbed the thing with both hands and threw it away. He felt a burning pain in his left eye and could no longer see anything. Hot liquid quickly flowed to his lips.

Wang Yao's cries seemed to further provoke the black creatures, which quickly crawled all over his body, lowering their heads and tearing at him with all their might. Wang Yao thrashed about for a while, but then could no longer stand and staggered to the ground.

"Damn it, just let me die already!" Wang Yao sighed inwardly, weakly tugging at a black creature that was biting his navel. He could no longer scream; weakness was slowly overwhelming him, and he could only lie there hoping that this scene would end soon.

However, these bastards weren't very sharp-toothed, which made Wang Yao experience the process of his life slipping away very clearly. Fortunately, compared to the forging process, this pain was nothing at all.

Several hours later, two fine horses arrived at the forest. The riders stared for a long time at the corpse left by Wang Yao, which had been gnawed down to a skeleton.

"General, could this... be the God and Demon Forger?" a rider asked.

“The blacksmiths these days are getting worse and worse. They can all be used as snacks by demons, which saves us the trouble of doing anything.” Another rider stared at the corpse and nodded slightly.

"Traces of demonic creatures have been spotted on the Howling Grasslands. Should we report this to the Divine Lord?"

"We only deal with matters concerning the forgers of gods and demons; we don't need to concern ourselves with the others."

"These god and demon forgers are endless and a real nuisance. Now that the demon cubs are about to attack, is it worth it for us to expend so much effort to deal with them?"

"The decree of the gods, whether it's meaningful or not, we'll just do it!"

After exchanging a few words, the two urged their warhorses to gallop away into the distance, one after the other.

At this moment, Wang Yao was sitting in his God and Demon Forging Space, with miscellaneous things scattered all around him. The 11 life-extending clones that the Heavenly Emperor had made for him were like toy figures, lying here and there, mixed with the clutter in his universe and surrounding him.

It took Wang Yao several days to finally gather his thoughts. The first thing he realized was that he couldn't just stand randomly in front of those two statues of gods and demons, as he guessed that the mechanism to activate the forging of the gods and demons was probably there.

Secondly, before engaging in the forging of gods and demons, one must have a set of clothes on hand, because once the forging process is completed, one will soon be thrown into the outside world, and not having clothes to cover oneself is a very troublesome thing.

However, none of these are really big problems. The biggest problem is, how the hell am I supposed to use magic?

Wang Yao scratched his head in distress. Without the system at his beck and call, he had absolutely no concept of using immortal techniques. If he continued to forge so carelessly, no number of clones would be enough for him to wreak havoc!
