The arrogant Western god theory is certainly a new school of Western gods, but the arrogant Western gods are very different from other new schools of Western gods in the Western world.
Although other new-style Western deities in the Western world also emerged from the struggle against the old-style Western deities, their current status is due to the tolerance and support of the old-style Western deities. Therefore, they still have some reverence for the old-style Western deities.
However, the arrogant Western idols rose to prominence by ruthlessly eliminating the old-school Western idols, so their attitude towards the old-school Western idols is quite subtle.
On the one hand, the arrogant Western gods consider themselves the rulers of the entire Western world. In order to maintain their rule, the arrogant Western gods have to cooperate with other Western gods, especially the old-school Western gods. After all, no matter how arrogant the arrogant Western gods are, they are still not capable of ruling the entire Western world on their own.
On the other hand, the arrogant faction of Western gods looks down on other factions of Western gods from the bottom of their hearts. They look down on both the old and new factions, which makes their cooperation full of contradictions. The arrogant faction can't help but take action from time to time. This is the so-called carrot and stick approach.
The largest media outlet in the foreign world, the Investigation Agency, is headquartered in the Arrogant Country. The Gossip Agency and the Listening Agency, which are headquartered in other regions, are also controlled by the Arrogant Foreign God. Therefore, the first stop of the trip to the foreign world that Liglong arranged for Wang Yao and his group was to go to this Arrogant Country.
The group arrived at the Erpi Pass Cross-Border Hall, which looked as simple as a gas station on the outside but was incredibly spacious inside. Liglong immediately found a waiter in the Cross-Border Hall.
He gestured with a black sign in his hand to the waiter, who immediately nodded repeatedly and respectfully led everyone to the entrance of a cross-border passage.
The interdimensional passage is actually just a small piece of ground with a magic array drawn on it. In the Immortal Realm, some Immortal Cities have undecorated interdimensional passages that look extremely shabby. However, the interdimensional hall of Erpi Pass is different. The interdimensional passages inside are all different and it is difficult to find two that are the same.
The cross-border passage that Wang Yao and his group went to was built like a transparent steamed bun. The bun's skin seemed to be made of glass, and the inside was empty. In the Erpiguan Cross-border Hall, this kind of cross-border passage was actually an extremely minimalist existence.
Each time this cross-boundary passage is used, tiny specks of light flow across the transparent bun skin.
As Wang Yao approached, he noticed a screen the size of a washbasin embedded in the wall at the entrance of the steamed bun shop. The waiter first blocked the entrance with a "No Entry" sign, and then used the black sign from Liglong on the screen.
After he finished his work, he bowed to Wang Yao and his group, moved the signboard aside, and signaled everyone to enter the cross-border passage. As they entered the large steamed bun, before they could even look around, they heard a "buzz" in their ears, and spiritual light burst forth all around them, as if their eyes were seeing stars.
In the blink of an eye, Wang Yao found that they were in the center of an elegantly decorated hall. Near the door stood a middle-aged foreign god, dressed in a gorgeous suit. He bowed politely to the inspection team.
"Ladies and gentlemen, where are you going?" the foreign god asked in a foreign language.
“We’re going to the Os Estate,” Liglong replied.
"Okay." Yang Shen nodded, reached out and rhythmically knocked on the door behind him a few times, then pushed the door open a crack, gesturing for everyone to go in.
Led by Liglong, the group entered the room and felt a blur before their eyes. When they looked again, they found themselves in a bar with soft music playing.
"Welcome, guests from the Heavenly Court." A languid and slightly provocative female voice rang out in the empty bar. Everyone turned around and saw a beautiful female goddess standing behind the bar counter, smiling at them.
"Hello, I am Liglong, the escort of the Heavenly Court's Six Paths and Eight Directions Private Immortals Delegation. I have come here specifically to pay my respects to Mr. Haodashi." Liglong bowed respectfully to the other party with a solemn expression.
"Mr. Hauts is playing golf and should be here soon. He instructed that if the guests arrive before him, they can freely choose a drink from here and take a look around first." The goddess picked up a glass of wine and swirled the amber liquid inside towards everyone.
"Anything?" Liglong stared wide-eyed in disbelief as he led everyone to the bar.
“Of course, that’s what Mr. Haudas said,” the goddess said with a smile.
"Thank you, esteemed lady, thank you, Mr. Hauda, thank you!" Upon hearing this, Liglong seemed to have received an immense favor, expressing his gratitude repeatedly. Wang Yao, standing beside him, was utterly bewildered. Just one glass of wine? Not even a dish of salted peanuts?
This guy from Haodashi is so stingy! We had to arrive early... Does that mean if we had arrived late or just in time, we wouldn't have even gotten a drink?
"Ladies and gentlemen, Mr. Haoda is so generous today. He is a master in the world of wine collecting in our Western region. He has collected not only rare wines that are thousands of years old, but also the finest wines that are tens of thousands of years old. Being able to have a glass with him is truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience!"
Liglong excitedly gave everyone a brief introduction, then turned around nervously rubbing his hands together, his eyes rapidly searching the liquor cabinet at the back of the bar.
“Um…I…I want that one, the Bloodstained Rose of 3822,” Liglong said.
“Okay.” The female sage smiled slightly, turned around and took out the slightly ornate bottle of liquor that Liglong had been staring at from the bar cabinet. She poured about an inch into a stemmed glass, and the liquor indeed had a strange color that was a mixture of blood red and rose red.
"Thank you, thank you!"
