Chapter 515 Escape

Wang Yao discovered that there were specks of spiritual light flowing on the barbed wire. As long as he focused his spiritual energy, he could see it clearly. He didn't expect that the barbed wire was reinforced with a magic array, so he guessed that it was not easy to enter.

"Get out of the way! Who the hell can't fly?" By this time, Wang Yao and his companion had flown extremely low. When the crowd on the ground looked up and saw them, a violent commotion erupted, and the flow of people began to crowd towards the barbed wire fence.

“The beings of the Six Realms are not as well-mannered and civilized as foreigners. They can’t even stand in line properly, and they keep cutting in line without stopping…” a shameless man shouted.

“I’ve lived in the Western world for most of my life and I’ve never seen anything like this. Seriously, I’m practically a Western god myself, can’t you give me some preferential treatment… Ouch, who the hell is pushing me?” another shameless man screamed.

"The Six Realms will be despised by all the gods if we do this! How about we follow the order of arrival? Even if we don't give preferential treatment to foreign gods, at least we should treat our fellow countrymen equally, right?"

"Fuck you! Let's all cast a spell together and break the barbed wire magic array. If I can't leave, nobody can leave. Let's all stay here at Erpi Pass and wait to die!"

"NONONO... Please respect the Six Realms..." A genuine foreign god, seeing several shameless people stirring up trouble, hurriedly and nervously tried to dissuade them.

"Beware of spell attacks! Beware of spell attacks!..." Just then, a series of sharp shouts suddenly rang out from the edge of the barbed wire fence.

Wang Yao then noticed that there were dozens of people dressed in immortal soldier uniforms standing outside the barbed wire fence maintaining order. The crowd surged in with discontent, and these uniformed people staggered around, their bodies radiating light. Clearly, some disgruntled cultivators were already causing trouble.

The celestial soldiers, following the stern shout, all took a step back and pressed their backs against the barbed wire.

A series of electric shocks rang out, and the immortal soldiers visibly swelled up as if inflated, instantly becoming as tall and imposing as giants.

They surrounded the barbed wire like a fortress, and ordinary magical attacks were like tickles to them, unable to shake them in the slightest.

Immediately afterwards, these giants let out a shout in unison, and their arms suddenly grew longer, like countless long snakes reaching into the crowd. Then, one by one, cultivators, whether they were shameless or not, were lifted out by their arms and thrown far away.

These guys must have been the group that attacked the immortal soldiers just now. They were extremely arrogant, and even after being thrown out, they continued to curse. As they went away, their voices lingered.

"We have received orders from the Heavenly Court Emergency Management Committee that if any cultivators are found to be attacking the Heavenly Court rescue forces at Erpi Pass again, they shall be killed without mercy!" A voice rang out above the gas station.

"Why not just let us in? Why are you blocking our way?"

"Exactly, just leave the foreign god behind, we're not foreign gods..."

"What's wrong with those two guys up there? They cut in line and can't get in. If they can't get in, they should let others have their turn. They can't just hogging the spot without doing their business. We should have killed them earlier. What kind of behavior is it to attack the rescue team?"

The crowd was buzzing with discussion, clearly shocked by the celestial soldiers' actions and announcements, and the situation gradually stabilized.

"So the array on the barbed wire has such a function?" Wang Yao looked at the barbed wire and clicked his tongue in amazement. An array that can not only subdue the enemy but also assist one's own side shows that the Heavenly Court has a lot of resources.

"Do you guys have no law at all? How dare you not let me go home? Don't you know my father is Qiu Chuji? Get out of my way, I'm in a hurry to get back to the Immortal Realm!" Wang Yao was annoyed that he had nowhere to stand when he suddenly heard a series of curses coming from under the barbed wire.

He looked closely and saw that the noisy people below were none other than Young Master Qiu, who had betrayed the Heavenly Court's information to the foreign god. The fairy maiden and Lü Dongbin's son were also beside him. These two were not mixed in with the crowd, but were in a passage under the barbed wire.

Wang Yao hadn't noticed the two of them at first because they were obscured by the crowd.

The barbed wire fence was clearly meant to provide a passage for entering and exiting the interdimensional hall, but for some reason, Young Master Qiu and his companion got stuck there after entering. Unable to go any further and unwilling to leave, they blocked everyone's way, which caused the commotion earlier.

Just as Wang Yao was about to take out his phone to call the fairy, several people suddenly walked out of the interdimensional hall, led by Fairy Caixia. Upon seeing this, Wang Yao hurriedly shouted.

"Caixia! Director Caixia!"

Caixia and her entourage were hurrying toward the two young masters, Qiu and Lü. She was surrounded by several men dressed in the black uniforms of patrol generals. One of them was holding a bronze mirror and gesturing at her as they walked. Suddenly, they heard a shout from the sky. Caixia looked up and her expression changed immediately.

"Quick... quick, let them in!" Caixia shouted, pointing at Zhang Wuji and Wang Yao in the sky.

"We've been instructed that we can't release her without testing for erysipelas," a patrolling general beside Caixia reminded her.

"Do you know who they are? Let them in right now!" Caixia snapped.

Seeing that Caixia had turned hostile, the other patrol officer said no more. He took out a short blue stick from his pocket and swung it above his head. As he swung his arm, a circular hole appeared at the top of the barbed wire fence, just big enough for one person to pass through.

The patrol officer put away his wooden stick and waved to Wang Yao and the other man.

Wang Yao and Zhang Wuji hurriedly flew into the round cave. As soon as they landed and stood still, they heard a "sizzling" sound all around them. As soon as the sound came out, Caixia and her group scattered like startled cats.
