"Don't say it!" Li Xian and Zhao Cai shouted at Wang Yao in unison.
"That's not up to you!" Mr. Shan laughed and suddenly appeared beside Wang Yao.
"Alright, alright, it's my treat! Don't ask him anymore," Zhao Cai hurriedly called out.
"You damn fool, you think you can treat us just because you have a little money?" Li Xian glared at Zhao Cai.
"Isn't offering a piece of cake a treat? Who told you to twist my ear? Now we're both in a really awkward position!" Zhao Cai roared at Li Xian.
"You...I...I was just afraid everyone would misunderstand, wasn't I?" Riken said, feeling wronged.
"You've only piqued my curiosity more. I don't care about your piece of cake." Mr. Shan turned to Wang Yao and asked with a smile. "Kid, what was written on that piece of paper that Li Xian tore up? I won't let you talk for nothing; there'll be benefits."
"Stop asking, I'll tell you myself!" Li Xian suddenly exclaimed. "This kid is the matchmaker. Zhao Cai wanted him to help us get together. At the time, the Immortal Realm interface wasn't open yet, so he wrote an IOU to Zhao Cai, promising to help us get together once the Immortal Realm interface opened."
"That piece of paper is an IOU. I've decided to marry Zhaocai tomorrow... no, next month. You guys better get the wedding gifts ready!"

"What's wrong with my ears? Can someone call me? I can't hear anything!" Jinbao shouted as well.
"Damn it, who's casting a spell? Why can't I hear my own voice? Hello? Hello...?" Mr. Shan's eyes darted around, and he shook his head as he called out.
Suddenly, all the immortals in the courtyard, except for Zhaocai and Lixian, had hearing problems.
"Damn it, is this what brothers are supposed to do?" Zhao Cai was so angry that his face turned red. He was about to jump up and down when Li Xian stopped him.
"Come here." Li Xian beckoned to Wang Yao. Wang Yao looked around and saw that all the immortals were pretending to be deaf and dumb. He didn't understand what was going on. Hearing the summons, he stepped forward to Li Xian.
"Are you the matchmaker Wang Yao?" Li Xian asked.
Wang Yao nodded.
"You were just appointed as the director of the Six Realms Women's Federation not long ago, which is a ministerial-level leadership position in the Heavenly Court. How come you were dismissed?" Li Xian asked.
"I don't know either," Wang Yao said with a shake of his head and a smile.
"What did you do after you became the director of the Sixth Women's Federation?" Li Xian asked again.
“I went to Yangjie,” Wang Yao said.
"Yangjie?" Li Xian's eyes lit up upon hearing this, and she clapped her hands. "I understand now. Was the recent nuclear bomb attack in Yangjie your doing?"
"If I said it wasn't me, would you believe me?" Wang Yao said with a wry smile.
"What? He was responsible for the nuclear catastrophe?" Mr. Shan looked Wang Yao up and down in disbelief. "Well, lad, tell me, how did you do it?"
"You heard that again?" Riken glared at Mr. Shan.
"Someone must have been casting a spell just now. It's all right now, it's all right now..." Mr. Shan said with a forced smile.
The immortals around him, including Lao Ji and Lao Ruan, also stopped pretending to be stupid and stared at Wang Yao.
"I'm sorry, I really didn't know about the nuclear calamity. The Heavenly Court will investigate later. Just wait and see the results." Wang Yao smiled and shook his head. Ever since the incident with Caixia and the fairy, his heart had turned cold.

Wang Yao was stunned when he heard this, and suddenly felt a pang of sadness. He couldn't think of a single friend or family member who could help him or was willing to help him.
