Chapter Ninety-Five: Summoning Beasts

This arrangement serves two purposes: firstly, it facilitates the participation of top contenders; secondly, it takes into account that in the later stages of the competition, the part-time workers will primarily be debating with the professor's alter egos, thus placing them further away from the main debate hall. For those part-time workers, not doing any actual work simply involves climbing a few stairs, so no one will hold it against them.

The waiter in the teahouse pushed open the door to the main debate hall, and the sounds inside rushed out all at once. The odd jobs in the teahouse, the professor in the seeded players' lounge, and the immortal who had returned to Prosperity Lane No. 2 all paused for a few seconds in surprise.

Fortunately, the waiter at the teahouse acted quickly, pushing Wang Laoshi inside and immediately closing the door behind him.

Wang Yao saw through the iPad that Wang Laoshi was stunned by the atmosphere in the main debate hall. He stood there timidly, unable to move freely. This was only because he was standing in the dark, not exposed to the spotlight; otherwise, he would probably have been even more awkward.

He saw the beautiful anchorwoman stand up and seem to say something, probably introducing Wang Laoshi. Immediately afterwards, the spotlight in the studio shone on Wang Laoshi.

"Don't rush, this kid's scared stiff. Let him get used to the darkness." Xi Fu's voice reached Wang Yao's ears. The battle officially began, and the immortals were like they had entered a unified communication network, where everyone could hear what one person said.

In the studio, the young woman clearly noticed Wang Laoshi and looked at him coldly. Wang Yao saw that she seemed to be saying something as well.

"Not good! Get him out of here quickly! Wang Yao, send a second one over there!" Hua Tuo suddenly shouted.

He collapsed already? So quickly? Wang Yao could hardly believe his ears, but he didn't hesitate. He pointed at the iPad and saw that the waiter hadn't even reached the bottom of the stairs yet. The immortals were naturally prepared for this, and another waiter stepped forward.

The most important aspect of this tactic of wiping out professors is that one must not interrupt the debate with a professor. After all, once no one poses a threat to the professor, or arouses the professor's desire to bewitch him and bring him back to his senses, he will easily realize that he is surrounded by immortals.
