Suppressing the familiar emotions surging within him, he swallowed hard, letting his eyes blaze wildly.
Zhang Youye struggled to remove his palm, and finally heard the sound of the elevator arriving at a familiar floor.
After leaving the elevator, Shu Yi followed Zhang Youye, and the two quickly arrived at the reception area of the skydiving base.
As you walk through the main gate and turn right, you'll be met by the base owner, who's walking briskly.
Finally, the Crown Prince and his future Crown Princess appeared, and the boss walked up to them excitedly.
"Brother You, it's been so long since you've come to visit. What brings you here today?"
As he spoke, the boss nodded to Shu Yi and lowered his voice slightly.
"This must be Mr. Shu's granddaughter, Miss Shu Yi. Hello, hello."
“This kid is the owner of this base, just call him Bo Zai,” Zhang Youye explained.
Shu Yi smiled and nodded at Bo Zai, then looked around.
There didn't seem to be many guests at the base; apart from the staff, only she and Zhang Youye were outsiders.
Seeing this, Shu Yi quietly tugged at Zhang Youye's sleeve: "Why aren't there any other guests?"
Upon hearing Shu Yi's voice, Bo Zai, who was walking ahead, turned around and explained with a smile.
"Brother You was worried that Miss Shuyi would find it too noisy with people coming and going, so he specially booked the whole place today."
With a helpless smile, Shu Yi looked up at the profile of the person beside her: "You don't need to do that. It makes me seem like I'm so important. It's too much trouble."
Without responding to Shu Yi's words, Zhang Youye simply turned his head to glance at her, his left hand naturally in his pocket.
His eyes not only overflowed with tenderness, but also contained some emotions she couldn't quite understand.
In fact, as an adult, how could she not understand such obvious emotions?
I was just surprised.
Even though we've only met twice, why does his eyes hold such a naked and open expression of love?
It seemed that even the intensity of the blazing sun in the sky could barely compare to a third of the intensity in his eyes.
Full of surprise, I arrived at a very spacious hall, outside of which was an open-air plaza.
The square was very large, and the surrounding area was very noisy.
Following the direction of Zhang Youye's finger, Shu Yi then noticed that the helicopter that would take them into the sky was hovering on the lawn of the square.
After receiving the equipment from the staff, Zhang Youye waved to Shu Yi, who was admiring the base.
"Come on, put on my coat first, then put on your gear. The sun is shining brightly today, but it's very cold up high up. Wearing just one layer is too thin."
"And what about you? You're wearing short sleeves underneath." Shu Yi hesitated, her gaze falling on the jacket.
"It's okay, Bo-zai went to get my coat. I have a separate changing room here. You can wear mine first, I'll wait for Bo-zai to bring the coat."
Nodding, she took the large coat, still warm from his body, and wrapped it around herself. She then zipped it up to her neck, casually rolled up her sleeves, and looked down at herself.
Being tall has its advantages. Zhang Youye's coat fit him well, though it was a bit too big, with the hem almost covering his buttocks.
A tiny person was thus stuffed into his oversized coat, and she solemnly tied her long hair back.
He even bent down and retied his shoelaces.
With the help of the staff, she quickly put on all her gear.
Then, he adopted a look of being ready to die.
It's inevitable to be nervous when it's your first time doing skydiving, Zhang Youye said with a deep smile, his dark eyes filled with comfort.
"Don't be nervous, I'll be behind you in a moment."
I had already read a lot of skydiving guides online. When a beginner skydives, there is usually an experienced instructor accompanying them.
Thinking of this, Shu Yi exclaimed in surprise.
"Shouldn't the coach be behind me?"
"I am the coach."
After answering her questions, Zhang Youye casually took out his coaching certificate from his pocket and handed it to Shu Yi. His eyes were mischievous, and a wicked smile appeared on his lips.
"I forgot to tell you before, I took this exam casually when I was bored. But I've never mentored anyone before, you're the first."
I never expected that he would carry his coaching certificate with him.
Too lazy to dwell on when this fox got his coaching license, Shu Yi retorted without a word.
"You still dare to bring me along? You've got some nerve."
"What's there to be afraid of? I..."
Before he could finish speaking, Bo-zai rushed over and interrupted him.
Panting, Bo Zai handed the jacket to Zhang Youye, wiped the sweat from his forehead, and put his hands on his hips.
"Miss Shuyi, you don't need to worry."
After taking a couple of deep breaths, Bo-zai explained.
"Brother You is very professional, even more so than our ace instructor. He used to come here often, and he usually skydived alone. He has a lot of experience, so you don't need to be afraid at all."
Watching her boss, panting and still trying to explain for Zhang Youye, Shu Yi could only silently tighten her seatbelt.
"Boss, please catch your breath before you speak. I'm worried you won't be able to breathe."
Bo-zai is a big, burly type, and this place is quite far from the young master's private dressing room.
Having run back and forth all the way, he could only pant heavily as he walked to a bench and sat down.
"I... I'm getting old, Brother You, I won't be going up in a bit. I'll arrange for a cameraman with steady hands to go up with you."
Wearing the windbreaker that Bozi brought, and zipping it all the way up, his handsome features, exposed to the air, were made even more pleasing to the eye.
With his sharp chin neatly concealed beneath his collar, Zhang Youye nodded.
Then, he put on the skydiving gear his instructor needed, without any help from staff.
After skillfully putting on all the equipment, he handed the transparent goggles in his hand to Shu Yi.
"Bring this with you too. It'll be windy when you jump down, and it'll make your eyes feel more comfortable."
Seeing his familiar and experienced demeanor, Shu Yi naturally no longer needed to worry.
She took the goggles and put them on, then bounced around a few times to try and calm her nerves.
"How are you? Are you ready?" asked the experienced Zhang Youye.
I glanced at the time; it was almost 2 p.m., and the outdoor temperature was still rising.
Shu Yi took a deep breath and looked at Bo Zai.
"Boss, take us there."
Once they were sure they were ready, the two followed Bo Zai to the boarding area on the outdoor lawn.
The helicopter had been waiting for a long time. Due to the temperature today, the rotor blades, which were hovering, created a gentle breeze.
It was neither too hot nor too cold, just right and comfortable.
To provide enough space for skydivers, the rear seats in the cabin were removed.
Perhaps this is a private jet, or perhaps it's for the comfort of the young master.
The floor inside the cabin was even covered with a carpet that looked very expensive.
