Suddenly, there was a knock on the door, and Wei Bo's familiar voice.
"Second Miss, Young Master Youye."
Hold.
What a fucking disappointment.
Frustrated, Zhang Youye frowned, silently cursing under his breath. Reluctantly releasing the person in his arms, he got up and went to the door.
"Uncle Wei, what's wrong?"
“Young Master Youye, the old master instructed that if you are going out today, remember to come back early. Your uncle’s family will be back for dinner. The old master has something to announce.”
Turning back to exchange a glance with Shu Yi, Zhang Youye replied, "Okay, I understand."
"Alright, Young Master Yuno, the food is prepared in the dining room. I'll be going now."
As Wei Bo's footsteps faded and disappeared in the corridor, Zhang Youye returned to Shu Yi's side.

We have a new chef at home, and his cooking is top-notch. You should go and eat, I want to go back and catch up on some sleep."
Catching up on sleep?
Something seems to have hardened again.
"How about I keep you company while you catch up on some sleep?" Zhang Youye's eyes darkened as he gently brushed a stray hair from her forehead.
With a helpless glance at him, Shu Yi got up from his lap and thanked him righteously, "Thank you, but no need."
Without waiting for his response, she turned away gracefully, leaving him with a resolute back view.
He sighed silently, wondering when he would finally be allowed to open his mouth and swallow the duck meat that was already in his mouth.
Barely suppressing the burning desire within him, Zhang Youye got up and left the guest room.
