Having received an answer, Shu Chuanran asked again, "Has anything been going on at the Shu family's company lately?"
"I heard that one of our subsidiaries seems to have some accounting problems. Has Dad checked on it?"
"Who told you that?" Qin Zhi glanced at him sideways, her tone still as calm as water. "Don't listen to the gossip outside. If other companies really had problems, the old man would have had you help your father deal with them long ago."
The reminder was brief and to the point; Shu Chuanran simply nodded to brush it off and immediately fell silent.
Outside the dining room.
Hearing laughter coming from inside, Shu Yi turned around and met Zhang Youye's gaze, her eyes showing growing worry.
"Grandpa sounded quite happy, so I think my uncle's family must have arrived."
Returning her a smile, Zhang Youye nodded and said, "It's alright, don't worry, let's go inside first."
Appearing behind Shu Yi, Zhang Youye glanced at Qin Zhi's slightly surprised expression and lazily sat on an empty seat to the side, waving to the crowd.
"Hello everyone." After greeting everyone, Zhang Youye looked at Shu Renxuan and, as if making conversation, started chatting with him, "Uncle, how's the company doing lately?"
Shu Renxuan put down his teacup and smiled.
"The company is doing well, Youye. I really troubled your dad last time. He hasn't been able to find the time lately. Please remember to give my regards to your dad and your second uncle."
After responding, Zhang Youye turned his gaze to Qin Zhi: "Aunt Qin Zhi, how have you been lately?"
Qin Zhi was taken aback when she heard Zhang Youye address her by that name, given Zhang Youye's attitude towards her.
He has never been one to deign to even glance at someone.
Upon hearing this, she showed no surprise, but slowly flicked the tea leaves with the lid of her cup, her tone remaining indifferent.

Zhang Youye wasn't annoyed by Qin Zhi's lukewarm response, and casually crossed his legs.
