Chapter 202 There's something wrong with this movie.
Several staff members burst into laughter, amused. "Is this guy crazy? How can he be so silly, thinking it's his house, that he can watch whatever he wants and not let him watch whatever he doesn't want to see?"
"He thinks he's something special just because he spends a few dollars, like he's some kind of big shot."
"Go away, if you don't want to watch it, then don't."
If Bao Shuoyu had acted according to his usual temper, he would have wiped them all out, leaving not a trace. However, Xiao Luo said that he couldn't hurt people indiscriminately, otherwise all his efforts would be in vain, and he needed to accumulate more merit.
He hesitated for a moment, then said, "Someone inside is dead."
"Dead people? There were only four audience members in this movie. Did half of them die? How come you're not dead?"
Bao Shuoyu's eyes turned cold. His patience was limited. "Try saying another word, and I'll cut your tongue out."
The staff member shuddered at Bao Shuyu's murderous gaze and dared not speak again. A female staff member next to him whispered, "This movie is indeed a bit eerie. Several viewers have reportedly died suddenly while watching it. I'll go check it out."
After saying that, she followed Bao Shuoyu back to the screening room. When she saw how bizarrely and horribly the couple had died, her legs went weak and she collapsed to the ground.
Two other staff members who were watching the commotion were startled by what they saw and quickly turned off the movie and turned on the lights in the theater.
Here, things finally became brighter and quieter.
The two staff members finally saw the scene clearly: the two dead bodies had wide-open eyes and pale faces, and their female colleague had collapsed to the ground, fleeing in terror, shouting, "People are dead! People are dead!"
Not long after, when the police captain arrived with his men, he was stunned to see Yu Xiaoluo. Yu Xiaoluo recognized him as the person in charge of dealing with the snake demon's den.
He clearly recognized Yu Xiaoluo too. "Are you Miss Fairy?"
Yu Xiaoluo was stunned when she heard the title. Fairy Miss? When did I become a fairy Miss? That's funny.
The female staff member who had fainted from fright was woken up and helped out. The police captain looked at the dead man and woman and frowned, "It looks like they were scared to death."
"That's right, in another sense, they were scared to death."
The police captain looked at her in surprise. "You mean—you were scared to death while watching a movie?"
"The problem lies with that kind of film. It was cursed during filming, so viewers can easily feel immersed in the movie, and the level of horror is amplified a hundredfold. That's why this movie can scare people to death. So, I suggest you immediately ban this movie to minimize the harm."
The police captain greatly admired Yu Xiaoluo. Although what she said was beyond the comprehension of ordinary people, he had experienced firsthand how capable Yu Xiaoluo was, and he listened to whatever she said.
"Okay, I'll report it right away."
After saying that, he went out to make a phone call. After finishing, he said, "The higher-ups have agreed. Miss Fairy, please wait outside and don't leave yet. We need to collect some relevant evidence at the scene first."
Yu Xiaoluo didn't say anything, and took Bao Shuoyu to the hall.
Actually, she was quite annoyed. She just wanted to relax and watch a movie that night, but all she saw was a female ghost, and she ended up not being able to watch anything.
Seeing that she looked depressed, Bao Shuoyu bought her a cup of popcorn and a cup of milk tea, which cheered Yu Xiaolu up a bit.
But before they could even take a couple of sips, a group of people strode over aggressively. The leader was a woman in her thirties, dressed in office attire, with a very capable demeanor.
"Who, who banned our movie!"
The staff member who had previously argued with Bao Shuoyu winked at her, then glanced at Yu Xiaoluo and Bao Shuoyu. The woman then walked towards them, asking, "Did you do this?"
Yu Xiaoluo glanced at her indifferently, "Your movie should never have been released. As for why, you probably know better than I do."
Originally, the woman's eyes were on Bao Shuoyu, but she didn't expect them to be on this young girl.
"It's you? Do you know how much money you've made us lose? Are you out of your mind?" The woman had a completely fierce look on her face.
"Hey, how much money you lose is none of my business. You're making money off other people's deaths. Do you think you can live with that kind of money? Besides, your movie is nothing more than scaring people to death. Now that word has gotten out, who's going to watch it?"
"Whether you watch it or not is none of your business. It's because of these things that some people are even more curious. Our box office has increased a lot recently, and now you, this brat who talks nonsense, have actually banned our movie! Are you tired of living?"
Seeing how unreasonable this woman was, Yu Xiaoluo got angry. She stood up, put her hands on her hips, and said, "I'm just tired of living, so what? Jump up like a frog and hit me."
The woman showed no mercy, rushing forward and raising her hand to slap him, but her arm was grabbed by a hand as strong as a steel clamp. "Heh, you dare to touch my woman."
Bao Shuoyu wasn't going to joke with her, nor would he give her any leeway just because she was a woman.
He immediately swung his hand and slapped the woman's face repeatedly, leaving her completely stunned.
By the time she realized what was happening, her face was already red and swollen, and burning with pain.
She roared angrily at the people behind her, "Are you all fucking shit? What use are you to me? Kill them! I'll take responsibility if they die! Get them!"
Just as a fight was about to break out, the police captain heard the commotion and a team of men rushed over. "Stop! What are you trying to do!"
The woman pointed at Bao Shuyu, "You've come at the right time! He hit me, arrest him!"
When Captain Huang saw the woman, he stared at her for a while before finally recognizing her. "Oh, it's you, Mr. Yang. My apologies for not recognizing you. How did this fight turn out?"
Yu Xiaoluo pointed at Captain Huang, "He's the one who called to ban this movie. Why don't you go find him?"
Captain Huang was caught off guard when Yu Xiaoluo shifted the blame to him. He felt awkward. "President Yang, this movie does have problems, so we'll ban it until we find out the real reason."
"What? You've already banned my movie without even finding out the reason? Do you know how much loss this will cause our company? Can you afford to bear this loss?"
Yang Hui remained arrogant, showing no respect for Captain Huang whatsoever and completely disregarding him.
Captain Huang also lost his temper, "This involves human lives. Human lives are more important than yours. Is your money more important than so many lives?"
