Chapter 507: What happens to useless people?
Time passes by every second.
Damian was deeply trapped in the condemnation of his conscience and his emotions, and two little men popped up in his heart.
The little man in white clothes said, "You should tell Qin, Qin is your good friend, isn't he?"
The little man in red clothes said, "You shouldn't tell Qin that Kong is also your good friend, right?"
The little man in white clothes said, "You're not that familiar, are you? You're more familiar with Qin, right? If it weren't for Stella, you wouldn't even look at this oriental woman!"
The little man in red said, "That's right! It's for Stella's sake that you shouldn't tell her. Have you forgotten? Stella is a fanatical follower of Kong. If she knew about this, she would never forgive you."
The little man in white clothes was silent for a moment and then said, "That's right, brother. Listen to him."
For Stella, the little man in red and the little man in white reached a consensus at this moment.
My Star God, everything is for Stella.
"Hey!" Damian patted his knees and sighed heavily. He looked up at Kong Xiyan and said firmly, "You are wrong."
"Oh?" Kong Xiyan turned her eyes away from the phone: "Then?"
“Neither am I.” Damian drummed his knuckles nervously on the table. “But for Starla, just this once!”
After saying this, Damian seemed to have made up his mind. He raised his glass and drank it all, saying loudly: "Cheers to the Star God!"
His voice attracted the attention of several people around him.
Although there are not many customers in the bar during the day, there are some.
"Shh! Shh!" Kong Xiyan quickly gestured to keep quiet, and the corners of her mouth couldn't help twitching.
What's wrong with these men? They always toast to this and that after drinking a glass of wine...
It's just... outrageous!
"Tsk." Damian looked Kong Xiyan up and down, as if he didn't know that she had the nerve to be affectionate with the waiter. What was wrong with him toasting her in the bar?
What's there to boo about!
At this moment, Kong Xiyan's phone rang. She picked up the phone, glanced at the message on it, and curled the corners of her lips: "Interesting."
"What's wrong?" Damian looked at Kong Xiyan, not knowing where her smile came from, and curiously leaned over to take a look.
"You won't understand even if I show you." Kong Xiyan glanced at the screen at Damian, who rolled his eyes.
"Let's go back to Wilson Manor. I'm going to meet Miss Anne." Kong Xiyan stood up, paid for the drinks and walked out.
"No, what are you going to do?" Damian was a little confused, but still followed Kong Xiyan out of the bar.
The two of them drove back to Wilson Manor, and the people following them also came back together.
"Really?" Anne, who received the news that the two had returned, curled her lips and seemed a little disappointed.
She was looking forward to what kind of surprises Kong Xiyan could bring her.
"Annie, don't forget what the Master told you." The maid next to her reminded her, "It doesn't matter who's called Kong Xiyan. What matters is the real eldest daughter of the Wilson family. You must give that thing to her."
"Xia, I'm really curious." Annie looked at her reflection in the mirror.
The maid was standing next to him.
"What?" the maid was puzzled.
"Since you have such a good memory, why doesn't the Master just ask you to carry out the mission?" Anne rested her slender fingertips on her chin and tilted her head with a puzzled expression. It was just perfect, as if an Italian movie was frozen in time on the heroine's close-up face.
"What's the use of just having memory when carrying out tasks for the Master?" The maid glanced at Anne's face, a typical Italian beauty, with some reluctance.
"Oh, so you knew that." Anne made an expression of sudden enlightenment and raised her eyebrows sarcastically at the maid reflected in the mirror.
"You!" The maid finally heard the sarcasm in Anne's words, and her fair face suddenly turned red with shame and anger.
"Just do your own thing." Annie looked away, took out the jewelry box on the table, and took out a pair of gemstone earrings from it. As she put them on, she said in a cold voice, "Otherwise, I don't mind applying for a replacement assistant."
Tapping the mirror left and right, Anne smiled appreciatively, but her words were unusually cold: "You should know very well what the fate of useless people is to the Master."
"You should know this!" The maid's face turned red and white, and she breathed heavily with anger, her shoulders shaking. "If we fail to complete the Master's mission, we will all die."
"Oh." Annie laughed. She stood up. The tall and slender beauty was half a head taller than the maid. "It definitely won't be me who will die."
As soon as Anne finished speaking, there was a knock on the door.
The maid didn't look away, but clenched her fists at her side.
"Go open the door, maid. Can't you do such a small thing? " Anne raised her eyebrows, and the threat in her eyes made people shudder.
The maid glared at Anne fiercely, then turned around, took a deep breath, and ran to open the door.
As soon as the door opened, the maid was met with a Chinese face.
"Is Miss Annie here?" Kong Xiyan asked the maid who opened the door.
The maid was stunned when she saw that it was Kong Xiyan. Then she immediately blocked the crack of the door with her body to prevent Kong Xiyan from seeing what was going on inside. "What can I do for you?"
"I'm looking for Miss Annie." Kong Xiyan stated her purpose directly.
"Miss Annie won't see anyone before the banquet starts." The maid instinctively didn't want Kong Xiyan to have too much contact with Annie.
It’s not because she was afraid of this Chinese woman, but she always felt that this person had some bad intentions.
That Annie is a dishonest person, and this Kong Xiyan is not a good person either.
If they were allowed to have more contact, the mission might become more difficult.
The maid looked at Kong Xiyan warily, and then looked up at the person behind Kong Xiyan.
Damian, who is as strong as a bear, also seems to be a difficult guy.
"Is that so? You won't see anyone?" Kong Xiyan raised her eyebrows, seeming a little unconvinced.
Damian looked at the back of Kong Xiyan's head. He really couldn't figure out what Kong Xiyan was going to do.
I always feel that Kong Xiyan wants to do something, but she just went out for a drink. What does she want to do?
"Yes, Miss Anne doesn't see anyone. She..."
Before the maid could finish her words, the door behind her opened, revealing a very beautiful face.
"I may not meet others, but of course I want to meet the most distinguished and dearest friend of the Wilson family." Annie smiled and waved to Kong Xiyan: "Come in quickly, I have heard many people mention you, Miss Kong, and I am full of curiosity about you."
"Really? That's perfect." Kong Xiyan smiled meaningfully, "I'm curious about you too."
Seeing that Annie was about to let Kong Xiyan in, the maid's anxiety reached its peak, and there was a hint of shock in her eyes when she looked at Annie.
What on earth is Annie going to do?
