Chapter 510, Curse to Death

Chapter 510, Curse to Death

"This is a gift that the eldest lady asked me to deliver." The maid shifted her gaze from Kong Zhishan and Zhong Yangyang's faces and looked directly at Stara, the smile on her lips deepening.

Fortunately, she had always been on guard against Annie, and took this thing out of the box in advance and kept it with her. This gave her the opportunity to personally give this thing to the eldest daughter of the Wilson family.

Ever since she received the mission assigned by the Master, she has not stopped for a moment and has been conducting various investigations.

As someone who was also raised by a Master, she never felt that she was worse than anyone else.

Including this time, she didn't think she was only worthy of being Anne's deputy and a maid who could only obey her orders.

However, Xia felt much more comfortable when she learned that the Master was not going to let Annie go back alive.

But since the Master asked her to do a task, Xia Ya was not satisfied with just doing such a small job as poisoning.

She felt that she could do more, that she could be more useful to the Master.

"Which young lady?" Zhong Yangyang narrowed her eyes slightly. "The jewel in the eye that the Wilson family just found?"

"Yes," the maid said, smiling and praising him, "Your Italian is excellent."

"So, the young lady didn't even know if we could speak Italian and asked you to come to us to give us a gift?" Kong Zhishan caught the loophole in her words: "Is this how you, the Wilson family, treat guests?"

"No, no, I also speak English and a little Chinese." The maid didn't expect that her compliment, intended to lower the other person's guard, would only make them more wary. She immediately changed the subject and said, "Today's banquet is very important to the young lady. She is too busy to attend to other matters, so she asked me to pay her respects on her behalf."

"Your eldest lady's respect is really rare. She doesn't even know how many people are coming with us. She only prepared this one gift and only gave it to my sister's maid? What? Does she want to sow discord?" Zhong Yangyang frowned.

"That's not the case, that's because..." Before the maid could come up with a new excuse, Kong Zhishan raised her hand to interrupt her.

"I won't accept things of unknown origin. Go away." Kong Zhishan waved her hand.

"It's not this, this really is..." Xia felt dizzy in front of her eyes when she was anxious. Her body swayed and she quickly raised her hands to hold the wall, and then she stabilized her body.

"Are you okay?" Zhong Yangyang said as he protected Kong Zhishan and Stella and hid behind them. "You're bleeding from your nose."

"It's okay, I'm just a little tired." Xia felt a little itchy on her face, raised her hand to touch it, and felt blood on her hand.

Xia's mind was confused.

What’s going on!

How could she bleed so much?

Poisoned? That shouldn't be the case!

Because she was responsible for poisoning Anne, she was particularly careful about her food and clothing, fearing that Anne would harm her after she realized her mistake.

Logically speaking, Anne shouldn't have noticed anything. Even if she did, she wouldn't have had the opportunity, and she wouldn't have any poison to use.

Anne's every move was under her surveillance. She had checked Anne's luggage countless times. Even this cursed object was taken out by her quietly. How could Anne...

Xia suddenly seemed to remember something and looked at the gift box in her hand.

Could it be this thing?

She did not wear gloves when she took it out, but she did not touch it for too long and just put it directly into a small box and repackaged it.

Could it be that in just a short while...

Before Xia could think about anything else, she felt a sharp pain coming from her abdomen.

Her knees buckled, and Xiya fell to the ground. She stretched out her hands to Kong Zhishan and Zhong Yangyang in vain, her mouth opening and closing as she uttered intermittent sounds: "Save me! Save, save, me! Please..."

Zhong Yangyang and the other two looked at Xiaya's face and saw that not only was blood coming out of her nose, but also her mouth, eyes, and ears.

His entire face was completely bloodless, his already fair skin looking as white as paper, only the blood red was frightening.

Before Xia could finish her words, she dropped her hands and fell to the ground with a loud thud. Then a large pool of blood spread out from under her body.

Zhong Yangyang's mind went blank. Before she could react, Kong Zhishan had already stretched out a pair of hands.

She covered Zhong Yangyang's eyes with her left hand and Stella's eyes with her right hand.

His face was pale, his lips trembled, and he uttered two words: "Don't look."

Kong Zhishan had never heard of such a horrific death.

"Is she...is she...dead?" Stella's body was a little stiff and her voice was trembling.

"He should be dead." Kong Zhishan's eyes fell on the corpse lying in a pool of blood.

At this moment, Xia was kneeling with one hand extended forward, as if praying for God's mercy and reward.

This presented a strange and terrifying contrast with the bright red blood beneath her.

"What should we do?" Zhong Yangyang's mind was a mess. She tried to sort out the chaos and find a feasible solution. "Should we call someone over? Or call the police? In this situation, should we call the police?"

"Stop arguing, I'm thinking." Kong Zhishan interrupted Zhong Yangyang, her mind spinning rapidly, thinking about what to do best at this time.

Just at this moment, Kong Xiyan came.

"You three haven't had any contact with her before, right? Did you get her blood on you?" Kong Xiyan walked in quickly.

"Sister!" Seeing Kong Xiyan, Kong Zhishan's eyes lit up again: "No, we just said a few words to her, we didn't touch her, and we didn't take anything she handed over."

As she said this, Kong Zhishan glanced at the gift box that the maid had been holding in her hand.

The beautifully wrapped gift box dropped into the blood added to the horror.

"That's good. Go back to your room first. No one of you can come out unless I let you out!" Kong Xiyan breathed a sigh of relief. While driving the three people into the room, she took out her cell phone to contact her own people.

After doing all this, Kong Xiyan called Lucas again.

Lucas also seemed to be preparing for the banquet later. He was dressed in a well-tailored suit and looked exceptionally handsome. However, when he saw the corpse was wearing the clothes of a Wilson family maid, his face darkened completely. "What's going on?"

Kong Xiyan did not answer him directly, but asked him: "Do you believe in curses?"

"You're not going to tell me this has something to do with a curse, are you?" Lucas gave Kong Xiyan a look that said, "What curse? An ancient Eastern curse? Sorry, Miss Kong, I don't believe in that kind of nonsense. Please give me an explanation."

"It's fine if you don't believe it. I don't believe it either." Kong Xiyan took out a pair of gloves, put them on, and took a blood sample. "My people will come to take the body away soon. I hope you can keep it a secret for me until I find out the truth. Don't let anyone know that someone died here."

"Ms. Kong!" Lucas's face darkened.

"If you don't want the next body you see to be Anne or Stella, you'd better do what I say."
