Zhang Shaochuan said he was going to take Qiansui out to play, and he really did pull Qiansui out of the complex. There was a car waiting not far away.
The driver was Liu Zhang.
Ever since Liu Zhang went to the beach last time and was reminded by Qian Sui not to go into the water, and was given a way to get rid of those unclean things, Qian Sui has been surrounded by holy light in Liu Zhang's mind.
They had received a call saying they were going to drive over to the building and wait for Zhang Shaochuan and Qian Sui.
Just as another boy was about to drive over, Liu Zhang intercepted him.
Liu Zhang patted the dust off his clothes, smeared some particularly greasy hair on his head, and then said, "You all stand there. It's my job to greet Qian Sui."
Liu Zhang was driving Zhang Shaochuan's car, a bright red sports car that was particularly flashy.
Liu Zhang parked the car, opened the door and got out. He looked incredibly cool at first, but immediately became timid after getting out of the car.
Liu Zhang took off his sunglasses and, in a particularly obsequious manner, approached Qian Sui, gesturing for her to get into the car.
"Miss Chitose, please get in the car."
Liu Zhang's series of movements were professional and fluid, leaving Qian Sui completely stunned.
Qian Sui stood there stunned, then turned to look at Zhang Shaochuan and said in a low voice, "You paid him?"
Zhang Shaochuan was also taken aback by Liu Zhang's outrageous actions. He shook his head and said, "How could that be? Why would I pay him?"
Chisui was puzzled and said, "Then why are you being so enthusiastic now, like a waiter at Haidilao?"
Zhang Shaochuan: "..."
He was puzzled. Although fat people are generally easy to get along with, Liu Zhang was usually a fat man with a temper and arrogance. Although he respected him and called him "Brother Chuan" warmly, there was something he had never actually done.
Zhang Shaochuan shook his head: "I don't know either."
Zhang Shaochuan had no idea, and Qian Sui was even more confused. She frowned and stretched out her finger, intending to cast a divination for Liu Zhang.
"Maybe it's possessed by an evil spirit."
Liu Zhang: "..."
Faced with Zhang Shaochuan and Qian Sui's reactions, Liu Zhang's enthusiasm was as if it had been doused with cold water.
Liu Zhang was a little embarrassed. He straightened up, cleared his throat, and then said to Qian Sui, "I'm not possessed. It's just that, Qian Sui, you are like a god in my heart. Ever since that incident, my parents have been wanting to invite you to our house for dinner. I wonder if you're free?"
Liu Zhang's parents invited Qian Sui to dinner, not only to thank her, but there must have been other reasons as well.
For example, wanting to know more about things like wealth or career prospects.
Even if someone is a thousand years old, they can't just say it casually.
But those in their line of work believe that secrets must not be revealed.
So Qian Sui said, "I've been quite busy lately."
This can be considered a polite refusal from Chisui.
The sun was still quite strong at four o'clock in the afternoon, and they were standing in the sun, feeling quite hot.
Zhang Shaochuan pulled Qian Sui's arm and walked towards the car, saying as they walked, "Can we get in the car and talk first? It's so hot, if we stand here any longer, we'll turn into dried meat."
The car belonged to Zhang Shaochuan. After Liu Zhang drove it over, Zhang Shaochuan drove it back.
Zhang Shaochuan sat in the driver's seat, and Qian Sui naturally sat in the passenger seat.
Liu Zhang, on the other hand, could only sit in the back seat.
The air conditioning in the car was on full blast. They had been standing in the sun for a while, and suddenly entering such a cool space made Chisui's skin break out in goosebumps.
Qian Sui sneezed softly. Zhang Shaochuan saw it and was about to take off his coat to cover Qian Sui with it, but before he could take it off, Liu Zhang, who was sitting in the back row, had already thrown his coat over and accurately covered Qian Sui with it.
After covering himself with his clothes, Liu Zhang even made a pretentious, greasy wink.
Liu Zhang looked at Qian Sui and said, "Qian Sui, don't catch a cold."
Zhang Shaochuan: "......"
Qian Sui looked at Liu Zhang without changing his expression: "Thank you."
Zhang Shaochuan started the car, and Liu Zhang, sitting in the back seat, still wanted to talk to Qian Sui.
He kept looking at Chitose, then asked, "Chitose, does your family make this kind of thing?"
Chitose was a little confused: "What?"
Liu Zhang: "Is your family all fortune tellers?"
Qian Sui thought back on her family situation: her eldest brother worked, her second brother was a teacher, her third brother repaired computers, her fourth brother cooked, and her fifth brother sang.
It seems she's the only one in the family who knows a little bit about metaphysics.
After clarifying the situation at home, Qian Sui shook her head and said, "No, I live alone."
Liu Zhang said "Oh," paused for a moment, and then asked, "So what made you choose this? After all, fortune-telling is something that only old men learn these days. You're so young, why did you choose to learn this kind of thing?"
"If you want to learn, then learn."
Liu Zhang continued, "Although you are young, I always feel that Miss Qian Sui's fortune-telling skills are very high, even better than those old men in the park."
"......"
Chitose responded seriously: "I don't think what you said was a compliment."
Most of the old men telling fortunes in the park are just trying to mystify things; very few of them have actually read books on the Four Pillars of Destiny or the I Ching.
Liu Zhang was a little embarrassed. He chuckled awkwardly, scratched his head, and said apologetically, "I'm sorry, I didn't know that your industry had a professional hierarchy of contempt."
"......"
The Emperor remained silent, but Liu Zhang, as if he had opened a floodgate, continued to chatter on: "How do you learn in this line of work? Do you have books to read? How do you know if your predictions are accurate?"
