Chisui suddenly sensed Ling Shen's presence.
Chitose was walking with her head down, and Jay Chou's "Coral Sea" was playing on her phone. Jay Chou was singing in her headphones:

Just as she sang that line of lyrics, Chitose sensed something.
She looked up abruptly, her gaze landing squarely on the driver's seat of the car in front of her.
She hadn't seen Ling Shen before. She could sense a car in front of her, but she didn't know it was Ling Shen. She just thought it was a passing car. But when she looked up and saw that the person in the car was Ling Shen, Qian Sui felt a slight joy in her heart.

Qian Sui looked up at Ling Shen and asked, "Did you come to pick me up?"
Qian Sui gazed at Ling Shen, her eyes sparkling. Her hair was bathed in the afterglow of the setting sun, even the tips of her hair were shimmering.
She looked at Ling Shen with a smile in her eyes, the tenderness in her eyes almost drowning him.
She looked at Ling Shen like that and asked him such a question. Even if Ling Shen wasn't going that way, or even if he was out right now, he would still come to pick her up.
Ling Shen looked down at Qian Sui, raised an eyebrow slightly, and then said, "It wasn't before, but it is now?"
"Um?"
Qian Sui was a little confused, and looked at Ling Shen with a puzzled expression.
The afterglow of the setting sun shone on Chitose's hair, making her head look fluffy and tempting to touch.
Ling Shen tried to hold back, but ultimately couldn't.

Qian Sui and Luo Xinyue were almost inseparable, so when she heard Ling Shen say that, she understood that Ling Shen was referring to Luo Xinyue.
Qian Sui said, "Xin Yue has been very busy lately, so I've been alone."
Ling Shen remembered what Qian Sui had said: everyone was busy preparing for the school anniversary celebration.
Although Ling Shen had not deliberately tried to learn about Luo Xinyue, he had heard Lu Jiayan mention her several times. Luo Xinyue was the top student in her freshman year and was excellent in both character and academics.
In school, students with good grades are valued by teachers, and since Luo Xinyue is the principal's daughter, she is naturally busy in such situations.

Even though the words she said were awful, they seemed to be forgivable when she said them.
Ling Shen looked at Qian Sui and couldn't help but chuckle, admitting defeat to Qian Sui.
Ling Shen raised an eyebrow: "Then it seems I am quite honored."
Chisui nodded in agreement: "Yes, you should feel honored."
Ling Shen didn't speak; his usually cold face was now filled with doting affection.
Ling Shen walked around to the passenger side, opened the car door for Qian Sui, and then said, "Then I wonder if I might have the honor of driving you home?"
Chisui was originally waiting for the driver, Xiao Liu.
But she glanced at her phone and realized that Xiao Liu wouldn't be able to get here anytime soon.
Moreover, there was a car accident on that road, and Qian Sui was worried that something might happen to Xiao Liu if he rushed over, so she sent him a message.
"I'll just go home with my classmate, you don't need to pick me up."
Ling Shen stood by the passenger side of the car and watched as Qian Sui sent a message to Xiao Liu before speaking, "It seems that little Qian Sui is quite popular, so many people want to take you home."
Ling Shen knew that Qian Sui was sending messages to Xiao Liu, and he also knew that Xiao Liu was the driver.
Ling Shen said this on purpose to tease the Emperor.
In the past, Qian Sui would have been at a loss and tried to explain to Ling Shen, but now that she has been by Luo Xinyue's side for a long time, she has learned some things, so when she hears Ling Shen say this, she knows that Ling Shen is just teasing her.
