When Shang Ziyan arrived, she was brought by Ling Shen, so she assumed that Ling Shen would also take her back.
Ling Shen parked his car in the underground parking lot, but he led Shang Ziyan out of the mall.

Ling Shen gave a soft "hmm," then turned to Shang Ziyan and said, "Tell the driver where you live later, and have him take you home."
When Shang Ziyan saw the driver bring the car over, she wondered if she could sit in the back seat with Ling Shen since there was a driver in the car when they went back.
But I never expected Ling Shen to say that.
Shang Ziyan was stunned for a moment before asking, "Aren't you going back?"
After saying it, Shang Ziyan realized she had misspoke and added, "What I meant was, you're not taking me home?"
Ling Shen hummed in agreement, maintaining his usual polite and aloof expression.
Ling Shen said, "Something came up at the company, and I have to go back to take care of it, so I'm sorry I can't take you back."
Shang Ziyan noticed that Ling Shen's expression was off after he answered that phone call.
So even if Shang Ziyan is unwilling, she can't say she doesn't want to go back alone.
Shang Ziyan smiled, feigning understanding, and said, "Oh, is that so? Well, you could have gone back earlier. I can buy the clothes myself."
Ling Shen remained polite, but always maintained a distance that kept strangers at bay.
"I can't let you buy clothes by yourself."
After Ling Shen finished speaking, he gestured for Shang Ziyan to get into the car.
"Hurry up and get in the car, it'll be late getting home if you wait any longer."
Shang Ziyan knew that even if she disagreed, it wouldn't make a difference. All she could do was pretend to be docile and carry the things she had just bought into the back seat.
After Shang Ziyan got into the back seat, she rolled down the window and said to Ling Shen, "You should also be careful."
Ling Shen nodded, which was a response to her words.
The driver also got into the car. Ling Shen looked at the driver and instructed, "Be careful on the road."
The driver said, "Understood, Mr. Ling."
Ling Shen stood there, watching the car drive away as the driver started the engine and drove off.
Ling Shen's expression only changed after the car drove out of his sight.
Just now, Ling Shen had put on a polite act in front of Shang Ziyan, but now that Shang Ziyan had left, Ling Shen's expression turned gloomy.
The chill went straight to his eyes, and he looked like he wasn't in a good mood.
Ling Shen stood there without saying a word. A few minutes later, a car drove up and stopped in front of him.
The driver, still wearing white gloves, parked the car, got out, bowed to Ling Shen, and said, "Mr. Ling."
Ling Shen gave a soft "hmm" and then got into the driver's seat.
Ling Shen got into the car, took out his phone, and made a call.
The phone rang several times before it was answered.
Chitose on the other side seemed to be walking, and sounded a little out of breath.
Qian Sui said, "Hello?"
Hearing Qian Sui's panting, Ling Shen frowned slightly and asked, "What are you doing?"
Chisui took a breath and said, "I... I was shopping, and then I ate spicy snacks. They're so spicy!"
