After challenging everyone in the school, Zhang Shaochuan wanted to challenge Ling Shen.
But when faced with Zhang Shaochuan's challenge, Ling Shen's attitude was: to ignore it.

Over the weekend, Qian Sui declined Luo Xinyue's invitation, saying she would make it up on Monday. She then shook her head and said, "I'm busy, I'm going shopping with Xinyue."
Zhang Shaochuan persisted: "I can go too."
Before Qian Sui could speak, Luo Xinyue said, "No, boys can't go on girls' dates."
Lu Jiayan alone was enough to give the Emperor a headache, and now Zhang Shaochuan has come along. Luo Xinyue had to use all the knowledge and refinement she had gained over the past ten years to resist the urge to kick them out.
This meal was extremely unsettling.
The tension between Lu Jiayan and Zhang Shaochuan is palpable; even a single glance can spark a conflict.
Qian Sui was caught in the middle and felt really uncomfortable, so after finishing her meal, she left with Luo Xinyue.
Unexpectedly, Lu Jiayan and Zhang Shaochuan caught up with them again.
They could understand why Lu Jiayan caught up with them, since they had come to eat together and it was normal for them to leave together.
However, Zhang Shaochuan only ate a few bites of the food that was served before running away with Qian Sui.
Chisui glanced back at the dishes on the table and couldn't help but say, "We can't waste food."
Zhang Shaochuan paused, turned around to look at his underlings behind him, gave them a wink, and they understood, crowding over to divide up the remaining dishes.
After Zhang Shaochuan finished, he turned back and raised an eyebrow at Qian Sui, as if asking for a reward.
But in Qian Sui's eyes, Zhang Shaochuan's appearance was like that of a tyrant who oppressed the people.
The four of them left the cafeteria, but just as they reached the entrance, someone rushed over and darted out like a mouse, heading straight for Qian Sui.
Zhang Shaochuan and Lu Jiayan both noticed it. They paused for a moment, then reacted very quickly, stepping forward to block Qian Sui.
Luo Xinyue noticed it too and reached out to protect Qian Sui behind her.
The rat-like man darted out and bumped directly into Zhang Shaochuan. He cried out in pain, looked up, and when he saw it was Zhang Shaochuan, his expression changed instantly.
With a mournful face, he reached out and hugged Zhang Shaochuan's neck, saying, "Brother Chuan, I've finally seen you alive!"
Zhang Shaochuan then recognized the person as his friend Liu Zhang, the same friend he met at his coffee shop after Qian Sui bought a phone last time.
He said he wanted to go to the beach to play and talk business with his parents, but Chitose reminded him not to go into the water.
I didn't expect you to be back now.
Zhang Shaochuan didn't have time to catch up with him. He had just run so fiercely towards Qian Sui that anyone who didn't know better would think he was going to do something to hurt someone.
Zhang Shaochuan pushed the clingy man away and asked, "Stand up straight and speak properly. What's going on here?"
Liu Zhang straightened up, sniffed, and looked at Qian Sui. He said, "Qian Sui, thank you so much!"
Zhang Shaochuan, Lu Jiayan, and Luo Xinyue all looked at Qian Sui with great confusion.
Qian Sui lowered her eyes slightly, as if she already knew what had happened.
Qian Sui hummed in agreement and said, "It's good that everyone is alright."
Liu Zhang, a grown man, almost had tears in his eyes.
Zhang Shaochuan, unaware of what was going on, reached out and slapped Liu Zhang, asking, "What happened!"
Liu Zhang sniffed, looking particularly pitiful, and said, "That day, didn't Qian Sui tell me not to go swimming? I didn't listen. How could I not go swimming when I got to the beach? But after I came back from swimming, I kept having nightmares and even had sleep paralysis. I woke up in the middle of the night and saw a dark figure standing at the head of my bed. Then I remembered what Qian Sui said, so I bought a carp and put it in the room, and I burned glutinous rice into ashes and drank it. That's when I felt better."
Upon hearing Liu Zhang's words, Zhang Shaochuan remembered that such a thing had indeed happened.
Lu Jiayan already knew that Qian Sui had this ability, and had even helped Ling Shen solve problems before, so he wasn't particularly surprised.
