Chapter Forty-One: Framed

Chisui is hardworking and intelligent, but his only flaw is that he gets sleepy after eating.

Chisui had already started to feel sleepy, and this lesson was even more unbearable. She propped her head up with one hand, and her head began to feel heavy.

Luo Xinyue was so engrossed in gazing at Teacher Hao with her chin in her hand that she didn't notice that Qian Sui was dozing off.

Shang Anqi and the others kept their eyes on Qian Sui, waiting for the right moment to make their move.

Professor Hao was in high spirits during his lecture today: "Astronomy is the most romantic subject because there are many romantic things in the universe. To someone, you are the center of the universe—like the Small Magellanic Cloud, you radiate the light of the entire universe, helping them find their way. Although you may not realize it."

Teacher Hao said this. The teacher, who had a nice voice and was good-looking, said such sweet words. When Teacher Hao on the podium got to the point, Shang Anqi and the others turned their heads to signal. One of the girls secretly put her hand into her pocket and pressed the remote control.

At the same time, the music from the game interface suddenly started playing from the drawer under Chitose's seat.

Everyone was startled again, silently looking at Teacher Hao on the podium, then silently lowering their heads, and then using their peripheral vision to search for the source of the music.

The music continued unabated and grew louder and louder.

The group looked at each other, then sat up straight and looked straight ahead to show their innocence.

Luo Xinyue initially reacted the same way as everyone else, searching for the person playing music aloud. After all, as a die-hard fan of Teacher Hao, she would be the first to object to someone disrupting the class order of the person she admired.

But when she looked up and searched around, following the direction from which the sound came, she finally locked onto Qian Sui beside her.

But the emperor remained uninvolved, dozing off with his chin resting on his hand and his eyes half-closed.

Luo Xinyue's first reaction was: Impossible! Qian Sui just bought a phone. Let alone playing games, she probably doesn't even know how to watch videos yet. Yes, it can't be Qian Sui.

But the music in the thousand-year-old's drawer became even more unrestrained in the next instant.

Everyone noticed and turned to look, even Teacher Hao on the podium frowned as he looked over.

Chisui didn't notice everyone's gaze; she just felt that the music was too loud, making it impossible for her to doze off peacefully.

So she rubbed her eyes, frowned unhappily, and searched for the culprit that had disturbed her sleep, only to suddenly realize that everyone was looking at her.

Qian Sui was taken aback at first, then turned to Luo Xinyue and asked in a low voice, "What's going on? Why is everyone looking at me?"

Luo Xinyue was embarrassed. She lowered her voice and asked Qian Sui, "Was your phone ringing in your bag?"

Chisui frowned slightly, took out her phone from her bag, and said, "It's okay, my phone is on silent."

She has no other electronic devices besides her mobile phone.

While they were still confused, a student sitting in the front row who liked to flatter the teacher said, "Playing games in class, they really don't respect the teacher at all."

Qian Sui was taken aback. She looked at Luo Xinyue, realized something was wrong, and turned to the boy in front of her, saying, "Are you talking about me?"

The boy's voice rose several octaves as he said, "Who else can I say this to? Don't think that just because you answered a few questions correctly in the last class you can do whatever you want. You still haven't turned off the game. You really have a thick skin."

Chisui was slightly displeased, but she didn't rush to refute. She looked up at Teacher Hao on the podium, whose expression was no longer as gentle and refined as before.

His gaze was fixed on the position of the Thousand-Year-Old, with a hint of anger in it.

Chitose reached into the drawer and rummaged around for a bit before taking out her bag. There weren't many things in her bag, but as soon as she opened it, she saw the game console inside.

She took out the game console, and everyone was in an uproar; she had been caught red-handed.

Chisui quickly explained, "This isn't mine."

Of course, no one believed it. They said, "These were all taken out of your bag. Who else could they be but you?"

Just as everyone was getting excited, the girls next to Shang Anqi jumped out and fanned the flames, saying, "Just admit you're playing games, don't pretend to be innocent. You really have the smell of a green tea b*tch."

This thing doesn't belong to Chitose. Chitose hasn't made enemies with anyone. Just now, Chitose was wondering what was going on, but now that those people have spoken up, Chitose understands what's going on with the game console in her bag.

She frowned slightly and turned to look at those people, her gaze carrying a hint of coldness.

When those people saw the look in Qian Sui's eyes, their hearts skipped a beat, and they became somewhat intimidated.

But after thinking about it, I remembered my plan. If I could bring down Chitose this time, I wouldn't have to be afraid anymore.

They stood their ground and retorted, "What, you want to hit someone in front of so many people?!"

This sparked an argument, and the classroom fell into chaos.

Qian Sui stood in the middle of the crowd, silent.

The large classroom was packed with nearly three hundred people, and when they started arguing, the noise was deafening.

Mr. Hao's brows furrowed even deeper. He slammed his hand on the table and said, "Quiet down!"

He only said one sentence, and the originally noisy classroom immediately became completely silent. Everyone quieted down and looked at Teacher Hao.

Teacher Hao's expression was no longer the gentle and refined one he once was; instead, it became somewhat gloomy.

His gaze was deep and thoughtful. He first glanced at everyone, then finally fixed his gaze on Qian Sui.

"That's all for this lesson," Teacher Hao said. Before the class could react, he added, "Qiansui, come with me for a bit."

Everyone understood that Teacher Hao was angry, and Qian Sui would probably be in for a rough time if she went out with him.

Seeing this, Shang Anqi and the others exchanged glances, feeling triumphant, and then smiled smugly.

Even Luo Xinyue reached out and tugged at Qian Sui's sleeve with concern.

Although Luo Xinyue likes Teacher Hao, it is precisely because of this liking that she understands him too well and knows how Teacher Hao would react to this situation, which makes her even more worried about Qian Sui.

She's the principal's daughter. Even if Teacher Hao is angry, he won't do anything to her; at most, he'll just have a bad impression of her.

For love or for friendship?

After much deliberation, Luo Xinyue finally made her decision.

She stood up and said to Teacher Hao, "Teacher, I'm sorry, this game console is mine. If you don't believe me, ask the students in our class. Qian Sui didn't even have a cell phone before, so how could she possibly buy a game console?"

Luo Xinyue made this decision after she had made up her mind. She gritted her teeth and stomped her foot to do it. She didn't even dare to look Teacher Hao in the eye. She kept her head down and wanted to take the blame.

Chisui wanted to speak, but she stopped him.

Teacher Hao, who was about to grab his things and leave, stopped in his tracks when he heard Luo Xinyue's words.

Teacher Hao turned to look at Luo Xinyue and asked, "Is it yours?"

Luo Xinyue nodded firmly: "Yes, it's mine, so if the teacher wants to punish someone, then punish me."
