Chapter One: Little Thousand Years Descends the Mountain

In the sweltering heat of midsummer, the sun blazes down on the mountain, and waves of heat roll in.

That day was her eighteenth birthday. Qian Sui, wanting to cool off, went to a tree by the stream to enjoy the shade and picked a few peaches to take home, which she considered her birthday celebration.

She and her master lived in a bamboo forest. The elegant ancient building looked just like something out of a martial arts novel. She pushed open the door and immediately noticed something was wrong. There was a bowl of longevity noodles on the table, with a note under the bowl. It had her master's wild and flamboyant cursive script on it.

The master said, "Little Qiansui, I don't know what to give you for your eighteenth birthday, so I'll just give you freedom. There's some money and your home address in your drawer. Pack it up and go home."

Qian Sui's lips twitched. How did she end up with such an unreliable master?

Since she was born, she has lived with her master on this mountain. The wild foxes on the mountain have become her family. Naturally, she is reluctant to leave them, but what good is it to be reluctant?

At eighteen, it was time for her to leave the mountain.

At that time, Chisui, who was carrying a small cloth bag, was stopped by a group of thugs.

Qian Sui clutched the bun in her hand tightly, as if afraid that the other party would snatch away the half of the bun she had left to eat.

But clearly, the other party's target wasn't the half-meat bun she treasured, but her.

"Little sister, are you all alone? Do you want to play with the older brothers?"

Chisui wore a plain-colored classical long dress, revealing a section of her fair and slender calves. Her seaweed-like long hair was longer than her waist and was casually tied up with a thin ribbon. Her features were extremely delicate, like a porcelain doll displayed in a shop window, so beautiful that one would not want to touch it. She looked pure, but the beauty mark at the corner of her eye added a touch of bewitching charm.

Qian Sui grew up on the mountain with her master since she was a child. She was very well protected and was naive to the ways of the world. She didn't know what these people wanted to do, so she spoke her feelings very frankly.

"You guys are so ugly, I don't want to play with you."

The thugs' mouths twitched. This little brat, does she want to die?

She wasn't wrong; in her worldview, these people were indeed not good-looking.

She lowered her head, clutching the steamed bun in her hand with slight unease, thinking worriedly: If I don't eat it soon, the bun will get cold.

Seeing that Qian Sui ignored him, the thug lost his patience and reached out to grab Qian Sui's wrist.

Chisui became alert, dodged to the side, and in the instant she turned around, she used the momentum to raise one hand and slap the thug across the face. The movement was gentle and slow, yet it was enough to subdue the enemy. It was a Tai Chi move, using minimal force to overcome great strength.

While slapping the man, she leisurely took a bite of her steamed bun.

Mmm, delicious.

Everyone was stunned by the girl's actions. She was quite skilled, and she had such an innocent and naive face. It seemed that these thugs had met their match.

After being slapped, the thug felt his head buzzing. He shook his head to calm down and saw the culprit still calmly eating his bun, which made him furious.

"She's got quite a temper, I like that. Someone, come on, play with this little girl."

As he spoke, the group gathered around him.

Qian Sui never looked at them directly from beginning to end. As soon as they got close, she dodged and slapped them the instant she turned around. When someone raised their leg to sweep at her, Qian Sui squatted down while holding the steamed bun and swept her leg at the same time, knocking down another person.

Those thugs were tall and strong, but Qian Sui could easily handle them. Their movements seemed gentle, but each move could stun someone. They would occasionally take a bite of a steamed bun, their movements elegant, their long hair flowing with their bodies. Even their fights were a sight to behold.

Ling Shen leaned back lazily in the back seat, tilting his head slightly to look at the girl not far away. His hand, resting on his lap, tapped out a rhythm, and he silently counted in his mind: 1, 2, 3... until the girl not far away took down all those thugs.

After knocking everyone down, Qian Sui took the last bite of his steamed bun, clapped his hands, and turned to look at the thugs sprawled on the ground.

She took a step forward, and the thugs scrambled away, howling and screaming, looking completely terrified.

Chisui stopped in her tracks, tilted her head, and looked at them innocently: "I already told you I don't like playing with you guys."

The group of thugs were stunned. How could a little girl who looked like she couldn't even kill a chicken have such high fighting skills?

Just then, several security guards ran over from not far away, pointed in this direction and said, "It's them, these thugs are causing trouble again."

As they spoke, the security guards rushed over and subdued the thugs who were lying on the ground. One of the guards walked up to Qian Sui and asked with concern, "Young lady, are you alright?"

Chisui stood in front of the security guard, blinking blankly for a moment, then suddenly changed to a wronged expression, raised her right hand that had just slapped those thugs, and said, "My hand hurts."

The thugs: "..."

You hit someone and then complained that your hand hurts?!

Chisui looks like a little girl who is not yet an adult, and she is as delicate and beautiful as a porcelain doll. How could the security guards let her stay here by herself? What if she encounters another group of bad guys?

So the security guards were about to take Chitose to the police station.

Just as one of the security guards was about to grab her wrist and pull her into the car, Qian Sui panicked and quickly said, "I'm not going, I still need to find my brother."

She went down the mountain to find her brother. Before she went down the mountain, her master repeatedly told her not to go anywhere else after she went down the mountain, but to go directly to find her brother. Although her master was not very reliable, she still had to listen to what he said.
