Chapter Twenty-Four: His Secret Base

As someone who had followed Ling Shen for a long time, Lu Jiayan knew all of Ling Shen's habits.

Although he didn't know why Ling Shen cared so much about Qian Sui, whatever the reason, it would be very easy for Qian Sui to get anything from Ling Shen.

Qian Sui didn't quite understand what Lu Jiayan was saying, but after looking at the business card, she accepted it anyway.

After all, it's something from Ling Shen.

She wanted to have a deeper relationship with Ling Shen.

Qianci installed a GPS tracker on Qiansui and called the driver to bring her back. When the driver arrived, he saw Qiansui talking to Lu Jiayan.

"Miss Chisui." The driver stepped forward, slightly separating Chisui from Lu Jiayan.

When Qian Sui saw the driver, she realized it was time for her to go home, so she said to Lu Jiayan, "I should go home now. Thank you for sharing the secret base with me. Remember to tell Ling Shen when you see him. I miss him a little."

Chisui's mind is like a child's; she is very straightforward about what she likes. When she says she misses someone, all you know is that she misses them, like missing her bed at home or missing the snacks at a certain food stall.

But to others, this statement is quite ambiguous.

Watching Qian Sui walk away, Lu Jiayan dialed Ling Shen's number.

Ling Shen was still in a bad mood, his voice serious and clear: "I'll give you five seconds to explain why you made this call."

Lu Jiayan cleared his throat and said calmly, "Miss Qian Sui said..."

He paused for a moment, making sure more than five seconds had passed, before continuing, "She said she misses you."
