Chapter 170 What a coincidence!

The 60th anniversary celebration is going to be a big event, and the school attaches great importance to it, as do the students.

Various clubs are rife with open and covert competition, and students with special talents vie for attention.

As the class monitor and a member of the student council, Luo Xinyue had to take over these responsibilities.

In addition to each class putting on a performance, clubs also need to put on performances, and the student council is responsible for selecting the clubs' performances.

For several afternoons in a row, Luo Xinyue would go to the large classroom used by the student council to select programs, and select programs with other student council members.

Although Luo Xinyue is only a freshman, as the principal's daughter, she is still ranked first in her freshman year, so the sophomores in the student council all have great respect for her.

After all, their status is what it is.

In the large lecture hall, the podium became a stage for members of various clubs to perform, while student council officers sat in the first row below the podium, watching them perform.

The seats at the back of the classroom were for the students preparing for their performances, as well as some other people.

That's right, Chitose is that nobody.

Qian Sui came with Luo Xinyue. Luo Xinyue was going to be a judge on the show and was worried about Qian Sui wandering around alone, so she asked Qian Sui to sit in the back and wait for her.

Chitose also brought a cup of milk tea and a bag of snacks, dutifully acting as a spectator.

Although everyone's shows are very serious, Chitose always feels that many people are just as funny as she is.

She wants to perform fortune telling and Tai Chi, both of which are branches of traditional Chinese culture with profound cultural significance.

But looking at the performances these people put on, it's not fair to describe them as a mess; that would be impolite.

But it really has no rules or methods whatsoever.

The Taekwondo club added drama to Taekwondo, intending to blend it perfectly, but the two together ended up looking somewhat out of place.

There were other performances that seemed to be poorly put together, and one even accidentally fell and laughed during the performance.

One person was singing and his voice was so shaky that he sang off-key.

As Chitose watched, she lost her appetite and couldn't even drink her milk tea anymore.

Chitose looked somewhat speechless. After the other person stepped down from the stage, Chitose couldn't help but mutter a complaint under her breath.

"What kind of shows are these?"

Chisui was just talking to himself and didn't want anyone around him to hear.

But as soon as Chitose finished speaking, someone walked in from behind, sat down next to her, and said, "Because this is just the preliminary round, the quality of the program is somewhat uneven. The final round will be better."

A person suddenly appeared beside her. Chitose was stunned for a moment, turned her head to look, and a hint of surprise flashed in her eyes.

"Hey, it's you."

The boy sitting next to her was the same boy who had appeared beside her and helped her pick leaves when Chitose was standing by the railing picking leaves last time.

Qian Sui vaguely remembered that Luo Xinyue had said that he was a senior student council member in his second year of university named Lin Shu.

Lin Shu also remembered Qian Sui, turned to look at Qian Sui, and smiled in a way that was as warm as a spring breeze.

"What a coincidence, Chitose-kun."

The other person's smile was too gentle, and Chitose felt that she had been too casual.

Chisui put down her milk tea. Her hands, which had been holding potato chips, were a little dirty. She patted her hands, sat up straight, and replied to her.

"What a coincidence, Senior Lin Shu."

Qian Sui had heard Luo Xinyue call her that the last time, so she just followed suit.

Lin Shu smiled slightly, and the two exchanged a simple greeting.

At this moment, new performers came up to perform, and Qian Sui and Lin Shu both looked over at the same time.

This time, the performance was a guitar and vocal piece, and it was quite good. Chisui felt that her eyes, which had been polluted by all sorts of strange programs, had finally been soothed a little.

Seeing that Chisui was watching intently, Lin Shu turned to look at her and asked, "Chisui, are you participating in the program?"

Qian Sui paused for a moment. She had originally intended to perform fortune telling and Tai Chi. Although she felt there was nothing wrong with her performance, she suddenly remembered that she had also felt speechless when Ling Shen told her that she was going to perform meditation.

She glanced at Lin Shu and thought that Lin Shu was a normal person who wouldn't like this kind of program.

So Chitose held back.

Chisui cleared his throat and then said, "I don't have any special talents, so I'll just be an audience member."

Hearing Qian Sui say this, Lin Shu looked somewhat disappointed. Lin Shu said, "Qian Sui is so beautiful, she could easily walk the runway."

A fashion show?

Chisui recalled seeing some people practicing catwalks when she passed by the teaching building; their high heels were frighteningly high.

Chitose imagined herself wearing those high heels and couldn't help but shudder.

That's terrifying.

Qian Sui came to her senses, shook her head, and said, "No, I can't wear high heels."

Chitose suffered a lot in fights because she was wearing high heels.

Lin Shu seemed to have asked casually, and upon hearing Qian Sui's response, he did not pursue the matter further.

I just sighed and said, "I really want to see Chitose perform."

Chisui scratched his head a little embarrassedly: "Everyone else performs musical instruments, sings, and dances, but I'm not very good at any of those."

Upon hearing this, Lin Shu raised an eyebrow slightly and said, "You don't know how to play any musical instruments? Judging from your appearance, Qian Sui, I feel like you should be able to play some kind of instrument, right?"

Chisui usually dresses in a Chinese style, so many people probably think she can play musical instruments.

Chisui thought about it and realized that although she knew some musical instruments, she didn't feel the need to perform.

She'd rather be a couch potato watching the show from the audience than perform on stage.

Qian Sui thought for a moment and said, "I know a little about the guzheng and flute, but that's about it, nothing special."

Lin Shu gave an "oh" and drew out the last syllable, seemingly not quite believing Qian Sui's words.

The classroom was crowded, and there were many mosquitoes in the summer. If Chisui sat for a long time, some small insects would fly onto her hair.

Lin Shu saw this and said, "Don't move."

Chitose was stunned, somewhat puzzled: "What's wrong?"

Lin Shu looked at Qian Sui's hair, focused his gaze, and then said while reaching out his hand, "There's a bug in your hair."

Chitose isn't afraid of bugs, but bugs on hair are never very attractive.

When Qian Sui saw Lin Shu's hand reach out, he froze, telling him to take the insect away.

I don't know if Lin Shu was afraid the bugs would escape, so he reached out his hand very slowly.

Chisui watched as his hand slowly reached out, but he couldn't remove the insect for a long time, which made Chisui a little anxious.

Qian Sui shifted his body, and Lin Shu said, "Don't move around."

Chisui could only stiffen her body and wait once again.

Just as Lin Shu's hand was about to reach for Qian Sui's hair, someone appeared behind Qian Sui and grabbed Lin Shu's hand.

Lin Shu was taken aback.

The man reacted quickly, grabbing Lin Shu's hand with one hand and reaching into Qian Sui's hair with the other, removing the insect from Qian Sui's hair.

Chisui was taken aback and turned to look at the person behind her...
