Chapter 74 Getting Hit by

Chisui just stared blankly as it gradually disappeared into the distance.

It wasn't until one of her friends blew a bubble that it floated up and the dense bubbles caught Qian Sui's attention. She glanced to the side, slightly distracted, and when she looked up again, Ling Shen was already gone.

A little sadness suddenly welled up in Qian Sui's heart.

Did Ling Shen see her?

If he sees her but pretends not to, is it because he knows she's not the little girl he remembers?

Thinking of how Ling Shen would smile at her whenever he saw her, Qian Sui suddenly felt a little sad.

Okay, all the kindness Ling Shen showed her before was for someone else.

Chisui snapped out of her reverie, stood up, and said to the little girl, "How about I buy you another balloon, okay?"

The child shook his head: "No need."

The teacher stood a short distance away and called the children over. One of the children said to Chitose again, "Thank you for helping me up, sister. Please take good care of your injury, otherwise it won't look good."

After the child finished speaking, he ran towards the teacher.

Chisui smiled, then stood up and returned to his seat.

After she sat down, she couldn't help but glance up again.

I wonder what Ling Shen is doing here.

Qian Sui really wanted to follow along and take a look, or say hello to Ling Shen, but remembering Luo Xinyue's words that she shouldn't run around, Qian Sui could only stay where she was.

The staff at the milk tea shop kept looking at Chitose.

Because Luo Xinyue had asked him to keep an eye on Qian Sui, he could openly peek at him.

At another table in the milk tea shop, two boys were sitting. They had been observing Qian Sui for a long time, and when they saw her help the child, they felt even more that this girl was kind-hearted.

So they took action.

One of the more handsome boys sat down in front of Chisui.

He greeted her, "Are you alone?"

Qian Sui was looking at her phone when Luo Xinyue told her that she couldn't find a pharmacy for the time being and would be back in a while. Qian Sui had just replied that it was okay when she heard someone say that.

She looked up in confusion at the tall boy sitting in front of her, wondering why he would ask such a question.

Chisui frowned and asked, "Don't I look like a human?"

The big boy: "..."

Clearly, Chisui thought his question meant he thought she wasn't human, so the big boy quickly explained.

"You misunderstood me. I meant to ask, are you traveling alone?"

Qian Sui suddenly realized what it meant. She confessed, "I came out with my friend, and she went out to buy medicine for me."

The boy was worried about not having anything to talk about, but when he heard what Chitose said, he went along with the conversation.

Are you sick?

Although Chisui was naive, she could tell that something was off about the boy in front of her. He was definitely up to something by talking to her on the street.

They either wanted to swindle her money or they wanted to kidnap her.

Qian Sui immediately became alert. What had her master taught her before? If she encountered someone with ill intentions on the street, she should not be afraid, but remain calm and then use words to intimidate them unexpectedly.

Chisui recalled what her master had said, then lifted her bangs and replied, "I was in a fight just now. I chased away three strong men, but I got a little injured."

When Qian Sui said this, she didn't blush or skip a beat. But when the boy looked at Qian Sui, he saw her as a weak and frail little girl who seemed powerless to even kill a chicken. He thought she was just joking when she said she had chased away three strong men.

Many girls nowadays have a strong sense of safety, so the boy didn't understand why Chitose would say such a thing.

The boy smiled and said, "Don't misunderstand, I don't mean any harm. I just want to ask you for something."

Qian Sui snorted inwardly. Sure enough, they were trying to swindle her money.

Why ask so directly? This person is perfectly capable; why doesn't he go work on a construction site and earn money by carrying bricks?

What's wrong with young people these days!

Qian Sui cursed the 'lazy and gluttonous' young man in her heart, then looked up at him and said, "I have no money."

The boy couldn't help but laugh out loud, finding the girl in front of him even more adorable.

He said, "You've misunderstood again. I'm not asking you for money; I just want your WeChat."

WeChat?

Qian Sui glanced at her phone; Luo Xinyue had just replied with a hug emoji.

Seeing that Qian Sui didn't answer, the boy asked again, "Can I have your WeChat?"

Qian Sui frowned and said with dissatisfaction, "No." Qian Sui paused and continued, "I registered my own WeChat account. If you want WeChat, go and register one yourself."

The older boy: "......"

Was she politely rejected?

Qian Sui ignored the boy and looked down at her phone before replying to Luo Xinyue's WeChat message.

The boy was good-looking and was usually the one being asked for WeChat by girls. Now that he had been rejected by Chisui, he was losing face.

He said, "I'm sorry to bother you."

He left quietly.

Qian Sui couldn't help but send a message to Luo Xinyue to complain: "Xinyue, come back soon! There's this weird guy here who asked me for my WeChat. It's so annoying. Can't he just register one himself?"

On the other side, Luo Xinyue, who had just found a pharmacy, was both amused and exasperated.

She replied to Qian Sui's message: "I'll be back soon, wait for me a little longer."
