As Yingyue waited anxiously, another month passed.
All preparations for the treasure retrieval mission at sea are finally complete.
Yingyue needs to go out and will have to take a month off from the hospital.
Liu Changhong frowned as he looked at her leave application. "Xiao Cheng, you're asking for a month's leave?"
"Are you taking such a long leave to go home and visit your family?"
Yingyue naturally couldn't tell Liu Changhong the truth.
Even if he is her boss, this is something that cannot be said, and still cannot be said.
When Liu Changhong heard that she was going home to visit her family, he felt that a month was not a long time.
"OK."
"Then I've approved it for you. Be careful on your way home, and come back soon."
Liu Changhong waved his hand and signed her leave application.
Having received the leave slip, Yingyue finally had some free time.
Before setting off, the couple had dinner with the sister and brother-in-law.
Huo Cheng was going to lead a group on a mission, but he didn't tell Dou Chenfeng what the mission was.
Dou Chenfeng didn't ask any questions.
Huo Qing couldn't ask any more questions.
However, I had a vague idea of what was going on, but I pretended not to know.
The two families ate together.
"Brother, you'd better protect my sister-in-law when you take her out, or not only will Dad, Mom, Grandpa, and Grandma not let you off the hook, but I'll be the first to make you pay."
Huo Qing glared fiercely at Huo Cheng.
Huo Cheng looked at his sister with amusement. "Alright, little brat, do you need to explain this to me?"
"You don't need to tell me, I will take good care of my wife."
His words were so sticky and cloying that they gave me goosebumps.
Huo Qing pretended to tremble.
Yingyue nodded seriously.
"Don't worry, Xiao Qing, I will protect your brother too."
No one asked her to protect anyone, and no one thought that when men and women went out together, the woman was the protector.
So Yingyue's words surprised both Huo Qing and Dou Chenfeng.
The next second, the couple realized what had happened and burst out laughing. "Okay, okay, okay, sister-in-law, I'm entrusting my brother's safety to you."
"No problem, leave it to me."
Yingyue patted her chest and assured him.
After returning from his sister's house, Huo Cheng told Yingyue to take a shower first, and he helped her pack two sets of clothes to change into.
Are there places to stay on the ship?
When Yingyue came out after taking a bath, Huo Cheng had already packed up his things.
She sat down beside him and asked about the situation on the ship.
Huo Cheng nodded. "Yes."
Besides salvaging the sunken ship, they also had the mission of patrolling the sea area this time.
For Huo Cheng and his team, this was just a normal patrol mission with an added side quest.
They can all do it well.
I'm leaving early tomorrow morning. My younger sister will take care of the two chickens at home, so I don't have to worry about them starving.
I also asked Huo Qing to help water and look after the vegetables in the garden for a while.
The next morning, before dawn, Huo Cheng rode his bicycle, carrying Yingyue, to the camp.
He parked his car in the shed and locked it, got off the bicycle, picked up the bag containing Yingyue's clothes and some first-aid supplies, and walked straight towards the port.
Yingyue obediently followed behind Huo Cheng.
The two arrived at the port, where the remaining eighteen members were already prepared.
We can set off anytime.
The leaders came to see them off.
"Comrade Yingyue".
The senior military leader walked up to Yingyue and patted her on the shoulder.
"Don't feel pressured."
"If we can find it, that would be great. If we can't, we can just consider it as accompanying that kid Huo Cheng on a trip to explore the vast seas of our motherland."
The leaders certainly hoped they could successfully find the sunken ship.
However, if it cannot be found, there will be no other thoughts besides feeling a little regretful.
It's even less likely that they would blame Yingyue and the others.
After all, they did this to help them, to provide them with funds, supplies, and to improve their combat readiness.
What wrong could such a comrade have done?
Yingyue nodded solemnly, "Please rest assured, leader."
Her tone was very serious; it was obvious she had learned it from Huo Cheng.
The old leader laughed heartily and then went to talk to Huo Cheng, "You're an old sailor, so I won't say much more. Set sail safely and come back safely."
"yes!"
"Go on, it's getting late."
"yes."
Huo Cheng agreed and then turned around to give orders, instructing the soldiers standing in a row to take their positions.
"Get on the boat!"
"yes!"
A loud voice rang out, and the team members ran onto the boat.
Huo Cheng turned around and looked at Yingyue.
Yingyue understood and followed.
The couple boarded the boat under the watchful eyes of people on the shore.
Weigh anchor and depart!
The sea was calm after the tide had just receded. Yingyue sat at the bow of the boat, waiting for the sunrise.
After inspecting the ship's contents and giving instructions to the soldiers in charge of each post, Huo Cheng came out of the cabin.
Seeing his wife sitting at the bow of the boat, he went over with a smile on his face.
"moon……"
"Shh!"
Yingyue raised her hand, interrupting Huo Cheng's voice, "They're about to jump out."
Huo City?
Not understanding what was happening, his eyes suddenly lit up.
Then, the entire sea surface lit up.
The golden sun leaps up from the horizon, giving the feeling that it's jumping out of the sea.
