Chapter 89089 Contains Blockage
Chapter 89
Master Daozhen shook his head disapprovingly. Jiuwei raised his index finger to his lips and said, "Old monk, how about we make a bet? This Yingji will definitely ruin your plans."
"Nine-tailed Fox, you still don't understand." Master Daozhen shook his head helplessly again.
"What if I understand? What if I don't understand?" Kyuubi's expression was gloomy for a moment. Regardless of whether she understood or not, she couldn't break through the walls of Michishin's heart.
The skin on her face itched, making Jiuwei irritated. She threw her sleeves in anger. Even though she was already a mess, she didn't want to show her bad side to Daozhen, so she decided to leave immediately.
Daozhen glanced at Yingji who was surrounded by black fog, then looked at Kongfan who was rushing towards him, hesitated for a moment, and went to chase Jiuwei.
He still wanted to persuade Nine-Tailed Fox to help him. The Sky-Splitting Formation was about to be activated, and the power currently gathered was not enough.
He believed that Jiuwei was not a cold-blooded person. As long as he could reason with her and appeal to her emotions, he might be able to persuade her.
Yingji watched Jiuwei leave, breathed a sigh of relief, and then turned her gaze to Kongfan.
"Why are you following me? Haven't I made it clear enough?" She frowned and looked at him coldly, her voice as cold as ice and snow.
The black python had been awakened by her. She stood on top of it, surrounded by black mist. She struggled to stand straight, unwilling to collapse before Kong Fan.
Kong Fan came quickly, and as his sleeves swung, he gently twisted his fingers holding the Buddhist beads, and a drop of blood came out from between his fingertips.
"Certainly."
Yingji was shocked to find that she could not move.
How was this possible? She had used runes to shield herself, and was protected by the demonic beasts and spirits. She might not have been able to withstand a powerful force, but how could she be controlled by such a simple immobilization technique?
Kong Fan stepped into the black mist. His tone was as gentle as ever when he explained Ying Ji's doubts: "You have a spiritual power of mine in your body."
Others can't, but he can.
Yingji frowned and stared at him in disbelief. "What are you going to do?"
Immediately afterwards, Kong Fan performed another mute spell.
Yingji's eyes widened even further.
Kong Fan bent down and picked up Ying Ji horizontally. He lowered his eyes, looked at Ying Ji in his arms, and said gently, "You should get some sleep."
Ying Ji glared at him angrily. He used both the immobilization spell and the mute spell, just to make her sleep? Why didn't he just use a sleeping spell?
Yingji was speechless, and silence fell between the two.
Kong Fan stared down at her. Her eyes were wide, either in anger or shock. She had rarely looked like this before, and this expression was a little unlike her. Kong Fan couldn't help but take another look.
Suddenly, a piece of white gauze slowly fell and covered Yingji's eyes.
Now, Yingji couldn't see either.
Yingji was furious! What was he going to do?
Kong Fan, holding Ying Ji in his arms, stepped off the black python and, with a thousand-mile stride, stepped back onto the clouds. He took each step slowly, and when he spoke, his tone was also slow.
He said, "I cast the immobilization spell on you because if I were to hold you, you would struggle, and it would hurt your wounds."
"I cast the mute spell on you not because I don't want to hear your nonsense, but because I don't want you to say things that will hurt yourself."
"Cover your eyes." Kong Fan paused for a moment, "You probably don't want me to see your tears now."
Yingji squeezed her eyes shut, trying to hold back, but tears still spilled and soaked the white veil covering her eyes. She took a slow breath, and the veil covering her eyes was wet with the faint fragrance of ancient sandalwood.
A bird flew by my ear, making a long, cheerful sound. The pitch-black night seemed to be quietly torn open.
Then there were joyful bird calls one after another, like a flock of happy birds flying out in groups.
Yingji listened to the musical sound of birds singing.
"Go to sleep." Kong Fan's voice was mixed in with the birdsong.
Yingji seemed to have really fallen asleep, but also seemed to be awake all the time.
Yingji realized it only too late; at some point, Kongfan had broken her immobilization and mute spells. Her entire body ached, and she had no energy to struggle or speak.
A gust of wind blew away the white veil covering Yingji's eyes. When the veil slowly fell to the ground, Yingji opened her eyes.
The scene before her was one she was very familiar with.
She didn't know whether Kong Fan took her back to the courtyard of Pujia Temple, or took her to her Xingju courtyard, or whether he just made her appear out of nowhere with a flick of his finger.
Kong Fan carried Ying Ji into the room and placed her on the couch. Then he sat down beside the bed and undressed Ying Ji.
Yingji looked at him, hesitant to speak, and silently turned her face away.
Kong Fan took off Yingji's clothes and looked at the wounds on her body, his brows furrowed more and more.
Yingji's body was covered in tiny wounds, like countless sharp needles piercing her skin through her blood vessels. Her fair skin was covered in bloodstains and wounds, leaving no intact area.
"Does it hurt?" Kong Fan asked.
Yingji pursed her soft lips, turning her head away and ignoring Kongfan. She looked out of the open window, watching the apricot tree in the yard swaying in the wind.
Her eyes followed the apricot leaves swaying in the wind, and her distraction allowed her to ignore the pain in her body.
Kong Fan placed his hand on the back of Ying Ji's hand, then slowly moved up along her wrist to heal the wounds on her body. There were so many wounds on her body that Kong Fan had to move very slowly.
Kong Fan's brows furrowed tighter and tighter, and he said, "You can't bear this kind of backlash."
Yingji seemed not to hear and did not move.
But Kong Fan knew that Ying Ji had heard it, she just didn't want to listen to his dissuasion.
The blood from Yingji's arm slowly trickled down her arm, glaring against her snow-white skin. Drops of blood fell, touching the tips of Kongfan's fingers covering her wrist.
These streaks of glare finally turned into sharp needles that pierced Kong Fan's heart. He took a deep breath, picked up the handkerchief beside him, and wiped the bloodstains on Yingji's arm.
But can it be wiped clean?
She had bleeding wounds all over her body.
Looking at the brocade handkerchief stained with blood, Kong Fan threw it hard and dropped it on the couch.
Yingji was stunned for a moment, turned around and stared at Kongfan's face in surprise.
This monk actually loses his temper?
But Kong Fan lowered his head, his long lashes obscuring the emotion in his eyes. Ying Ji could only see the paleness of his face.
Yingji sneered, "A monk can get angry too? Monk, you're becoming less and less like a monk."
"It's not like I don't want to be a monk from today on." Kong Fan slowly raised his eyes and looked at Ying Ji.
Then Yingji saw a pair of red eyes.
Yingji stared at him for a moment, then turned away as if to avoid him. After a moment, she turned back and stared into Kongfan's eyes again.
"How strange." Yingji's voice was soft, as if it came from her heart.
After enduring it again and again, Yingji pursed her lips and finally said, "Don't cry."
Kong Fan stared into Ying Ji's eyes and said in a deep voice, "Sometimes, I really want to lock you up."
"I want to lock you in my Buddhist beads, and keep you by my side day and night. You will never be hurt or suffer again, and you will never be separated from me again. Unless I die."
This really doesn't sound like what Kongfan would say.
Yingji was a little confused. She forced a smile and said, "Did you get drunk after drinking with your master? What nonsense are you talking about?"
After thinking for a moment, she shook her head gently: "You won't. No matter what I want to do, even if you don't agree, you won't stop me."
This was his way of loving her.
Yingji sighed again, her expression dejected. She knew what she was about to do would kill many people, even harming innocent people. One day, Kongfan would stand against her.
She wanted to persuade Kong Fan to do something, but when the words came to her lips, she realized that it was useless to persuade him, so she didn't want to say anything.
Just as Kong Fan dissuaded him, he couldn't say it.
They all know each other too well.
After a long time, Ying Ji said helplessly: "If you want to continue to be in a daze and not treat my injuries, then I will put on my clothes first."
As she spoke, she bent down to pick up the clothes.
The clothes were next to Kong Fan's hand, so she had to bend down and put her arm over Kong Fan's legs to hook the clothes.
Before her fingertips touched her clothes, Kong Fan held her entire hand.
Yingji raised her eyes and just saw Kongfan's tears falling.
Yingji was stunned. Why did she feel that Kongfan was in pain?
Kong Fan leaned forward, and Ying Ji realized what he was about to do and said hurriedly, "No, your spiritual power..."
Before she could finish the rest of her words, her lips and teeth were blocked by Kong Fan.
