Chapter 35 (Written Before Publication)
It seems like it's been a long time since I said anything when I launched a product. Actually, there's a lot I wanted to say.
After finishing "Farewell to the Golden Branch," I had the idea of taking a break for a while. There are too many trivial matters in reality, insomnia and anxiety in middle age, various nodules, old ailments such as back pain, shoulder pain, and wrist pain... I'll at least be busy until the first half of 2025 before starting a new book.
But the longer I didn't write, the more my creative urge stirred. Life is never-ending, there are always new things to deal with. Since I started to miss writing and missing everyone, I decided to set off, and thus, "The Startling Moon" came to be.
Preparing for the new book wasn't easy, but what surprised and reassured me was that I was in a great state of mind once I started writing, and it was a story that gave me the passion to keep writing.
The release of the story is the test of whether it is well-received by the audience. From youth to middle age, time is both short and long. There will be anxiety, self-doubt, and the inevitable expectation of good results to prove that I can continue writing.
Readers' support is always my greatest motivation to continue writing. I hope that those who enjoy this book will subscribe to the official version; I would be extremely grateful.
