Chapter 29

At five o'clock in the morning, the sky was overcast and the wind occasionally blew a few grains of fine snow in through the half-open window.

The charcoal fire in the hut was about to burn out, but the person on the bed did not feel cold. Lin Xie was shirtless, and the mattress just covered his chest, with someone curled up in his arms.

The man's black hair was loose, covering his smooth and thin back like black silk.

Lin Xie rested his chin on the top of his fluffy hair, and the two of them snuggled together, even the soles of their feet were soft. It was a biting chill of spring outside, and the cold wind was whistling like a knife. This moment of dependence on each other in the cold night gave the two of them a little illusion of love.

But an illusion is still an illusion after all, just a mirage, a dream bubble. Even if you don't puncture it, it will slowly fade away until it disappears.

"Is that book good?" Lin Xie entangled a few strands of his hair with his fingers, hooked them on his fingertips and slowly twisted them, and asked him lazily.

Shen, however, half-opened his eyes, did not answer, and huddled there exhausted and sleepy, even blinking slowly.

"You are much more enthusiastic tonight than before," Lin Xie tortured him all night, but now he still seemed to be full of energy. After playing with his hair, he stretched out his hand to pinch the thin flesh on the back of his neck. "Is it because of the book you read?"

Shen covered his ears and didn't want to listen. He felt that God was really blind. Lin Xie was supposed to be a mute, so why did he have such a sharp tongue?

"She's not warm in person," Lin Xie smiled, pulling his hand away and whispering in his ear, "but her body is very warm. I was afraid that someone would cry, so I was so kind as to bring a box of facial oil, but now I don't even need to open it."

Shen raised his head, his face and ears were red, but he was so sleepy that he was about to faint, and even if he glared at people with all his might, there was not much murderous intent in it.

"Why are you glaring at me? Was there anything wrong with what I said?" Lin Xie smiled and held up half of his face with his hands. "Are you more lewd than the singing girls in the brothels? I can see it more clearly than anyone else."

Shen Que had never met such a person in his life. He was so hateful. He had slept with him before, but he still refused to forgive him.

He was so angry that his teeth were itching and he wanted to struggle out of the man's arms, but he had no strength at all. He gritted his teeth and moved a few inches, but was held tightly in the man's arms again.

Lin Xie snatched his tiger-head porcelain pillow, leaned on it twice and felt uncomfortable, so he moved the porcelain pillow away and leaned on the square soft pillow behind Chen Que instead: "How can you sleep if you lie on this every night?"

"It's so hard," he complained.

But when the porcelain pillow was opened, Lin Xie saw a silk handkerchief underneath, folded neatly in a square shape. The material used for the silk handkerchief was very good, and it didn't seem heavy like the ordinary ones.

He casually shook out the silk handkerchief and looked at it carefully in the candlelight beside the couch. It was a light beige handkerchief with a pattern of wild geese playing with golden carp embroidered on the lower right corner. Lin Xie felt that it looked familiar, but he could not remember where he had seen it before.

Lin Xie held the handkerchief in front of the half-asleep Shen Que and asked him, "Mute, could it be that you stole this from some woman?"

When the sleepy Shen saw clearly what was in front of him, he immediately opened his eyes wide and reached out to grab it. Seeing this, Lin Xie quickly hid the handkerchief behind him.

"It's not stolen," Shen signed hastily, "It's mine..."

Before he finished his gesture, Lin Xie interrupted him: "Of course not, how could a young lady use such a large silk handkerchief? It looks like a sweat towel used by men."

Lin Xie had already recognized it by now. He didn't care much about what he wore and used, and it was common for him to lose a few handkerchiefs from time to time. The pattern on this handkerchief was very old, as if he had used it a few years ago. No wonder he didn't recognize it at first glance.

But Lin Xie pretended to be ignorant and continued to question him while holding the handkerchief: "You still say you don't have a lover. Tell me, how many times did you let this man sleep with you before you met me?"

Shen was broken into a cold sweat by what he said. He was more afraid of Lin Xie finding out that this was something used by His Highness than being misunderstood by him. So he admitted it in a rush and acknowledged this unfounded "lover".

"Not a few times," he raised his hand hesitantly, looked at him pitifully, and begged softly, "Give it back to me... give it back to me, okay?"

However, Chen had never been so soft to him. Seeing this hard man like wood surrender, Lin Xie's dark eyes became moist and bright. He felt so pleased in his heart that evil thoughts arose again and he wanted to do something to him again.

"You're lying," Lin Xie stared at him, pinching the handkerchief cruelly. Then he slightly curved his eyebrows and put on a half-smile on his face again: "Isn't this the prince's thing? You said that the prince was your lover, how come I didn't know that you even climbed into his bed?"

Shen didn't expect that he actually recognized her. Her face turned red and white, as if she had been thrown into ice water and hot water and immersed in it back and forth.

He didn't have time to react, but heard Lin Xie say again: "You pervert, you even dared to steal the prince's things, and you put them under your pillow every day. If I hadn't come, what would you do with it at night?"

Chen was very angry. He picked up the handkerchief and didn't return it. He was blinded by greed. But he kept the handkerchief just to keep some thoughts in mind and put it under his pillow so that he could fall asleep. How could he have such dirty and evil thoughts?

His face turned red with anger, and he gestured quickly, even his wrists were shaking: "Give it back to me!"

Lin Xie deliberately raised it high and refused to give it to him, saying, "Why should I give it back to you? Tomorrow I will present this handkerchief to the prince and let him know what the people around him think of him."

Shen Que suddenly didn't dare to move, the redness on his face faded a little, and his eyelashes trembled slightly.

Lin Xie saw him slowly raise his hand, shaking his head and gesturing: "Don't, don't present it to the prince, okay?"

The way he begged for help was very soft, and the stubbornness in his eyes seemed to have completely melted away, which was completely different from the usual wooden and stone-like person.

Lin Xie saw that he was afraid. He was really afraid. Just now when he was rudely pulling him and tripping him, he was not that afraid. At most he was ashamed and angry.

But what is he afraid of?

Was she afraid that he would really present the handkerchief to her, and that she would be punished for it, or...

Lin Xie narrowed his eyes, and only then did he realize that the reason why Chen Que cared so much about this silk handkerchief was probably because he had some shameful thoughts towards the owner of the silk handkerchief.

Shen, however, adored him.

He loved her to the point of secretly hiding his well-worn handkerchief, but he usually acted so serious and hid his feelings so deeply that not even a trace was left.

Lin Xie couldn't help but feel a little ridiculous. If Shen knew that he had accidentally climbed into the prince's bed, what would he think?

Will your anger turn into joy, or will you be filled with sorrow and despair?

Lin Xie wanted to see his reaction, but he was unwilling to be honest, not only for his own face, but also because he was afraid of trouble.

He didn't hate someone loving him, he was even willing for someone to do this stupid thing, because it meant he could get a die-hard fan and a loyal dog without any coercion or inducement.

But the prerequisite is that the person must have self-knowledge, otherwise he will stick to it self-indulgently and it will be like a dog-skin plaster that cannot be removed, which will cause trouble.

He hates trouble and also hates sticky and lingering love.

Seeing that Lin Xie was indifferent, Shen knelt down and moved forward, looking up at him in a flattering manner.

Lin Xie let him get closer, half-lidded eyes, watching the little mute come up to him clumsily, and rub his lips carefully, which were soft and hot, and his breath carried a medicinal fragrance, bitter yet sweet, which drew him forward.

Chen wanted to run away after being touched, but unexpectedly Lin Xie almost immediately pressed on him and bit his lips until they turned red, only then was he satisfied.

Shen Que had almost half of his body pressed against Lin Xie, so he could keenly sense the changes in his body. The shocking thing suddenly pressed against his waist and abdomen.

I have just let him do it for several hours, and I can't stand it anymore, so Shen shook his head in fear: "Tomorrow, wait for tomorrow..."

"It's almost dawn, it's already the second day," Lin Xie smiled, lowered his head slightly, and rested his forehead against his, "The bottom is no longer usable, isn't there still..."

He deliberately didn't finish his words. He raised his hand and gently touched Shen Que's lips with his index finger: "Here?"

It's not that Shen Que had never suffered this before, but last time it was Lin Xie who forced him, and now he had to take the initiative, which made him feel even more humiliated.

But he had no choice but to compromise and go along with him.

But after it was over, he watched Lin Xie wipe away the dirt with the handkerchief, and Shen was so angry that he almost cried.

How much he treasured that handkerchief on weekdays, taking care of it so much that he dared not touch it without washing his hands. How could Lin Xie do this?

Seeing that the corners of his eyes were red and there seemed to be tears in his eyes, and he looked extremely distressed, Lin Xie smiled instead. Not only did he smile, he also reached out his hand while smiling and ruffled his long black hair.

"Why are you glaring at me again?" Lin Xie said shamelessly, "It's all your fault for not keeping it in your mouth."

The next moment, Chen Que suddenly lowered his eyes. Lin Xie thought he was really going to cry, so he moved closer to look him in the eye: "Are you really going to cry?"

Shen tried hard to hold back his tears. No matter how he was humiliated, he would not feel any pain. But seeing His Highness's personal belongings being treated so badly, he felt extremely distressed.

Lin Xie got closer and closer, but Chen couldn't stand the hot breath on his chin when he exhaled, so he subconsciously reached out and pushed him away.

Lin Xie was feeling very satisfied at the moment. Even after being pushed by him, she showed no sign of getting angry. She even coaxed him, saying, "It's just a torn handkerchief. I'll give you another one."

But Shen was not willing to pay attention to him at all. He was rubbed by him stickyly and forced into a corner before he was willing to make a gesture: "Who wants yours!"

Lin Xie smiled and approached him again: "How about I go to the prince to steal one for you tomorrow? Don't want a handkerchief? I will steal his underwear and brocade socks for you."

"..." Shen Que really wished he was deaf, and reached out to push him again, but this time Lin Xie grabbed his wrist, so he had to raise his hand with a cold face and scolded him, "You are shameless."

It was rare to hear swear words from him, but Lin Xie's expression did not change. Instead, he laughed even more happily.

"Really?" Lin Xie said, "I really stole it. I'm not lying to you."

Shen quickly shook his head. Even if Lin Xie really stole those things from Hela, he would not dare to take them. He already felt that he was guilty of a heinous crime by secretly keeping the silk handkerchief from His Highness. If he stole those things again, it would be hopelessly mean and vulgar.

Lin Xie looked at him, his eyebrows curved and a meaningful smile appeared on his face.
