Grandma Mo ignored her completely and went inside.

Mo Lao Er said "Oh," and then added, "Shouldn't we prepare dozens of loads of dowry for you? A grand wedding with ten miles of red bridal procession!"
Mo Yunmei's eyes lit up. "Great! Second Brother really loves me! I have so much dowry, I won't have to worry about food or drink, and my position in my husband's family will be secure. I won't have to do anything and someone will still cook for me! That's wonderful, Second Brother, when are you going to start preparing?"
Mo Lao Er snorted inwardly, thinking, "You really can't tame someone who isn't your own!"

Since no one has seen Mo Qinghe stand up and walk on his own, and so much time has passed with no sign of it, the gossip-loving public has started speculating again that Mo Qinghe will probably need a few more years before he can walk again!
Mo Qinghe ignored these gossips. Whenever he had free time, he would walk around the house by himself, without holding onto the walls or tables and chairs. Gradually, he was able to walk like a normal person, and his legs no longer felt sore.
This is what my wife meant when she said, "Hard work pays off!"
His hard work will eventually bring him everything he wants!

He will soon be able to appear in front of people with a normal walking posture, without having to be pointed at or questioned by others anymore.

Cao Erdan got wet, but instead of going straight back, he followed them to the mountainside and picked up some dry branches to use as firewood.
Su Nanxi gave him an egg as a token of appreciation for his hard work.
Cao Erdan was flattered and overwhelmed. He carefully held the eggs in both hands, his eyes filled with joy. "Thank you, mute mother! Thank you, mute mother!"
If he hadn't been holding the eggs, he probably would have jumped up and cheered!
Su Nanxi waved her hand, telling him to hurry up and take the eggs back. She added that he should keep trying to water the eggs next time, haha!
Cao Erdan treated it like a treasure, feeling unsafe no matter how he held it, and finally carefully placed it near his stomach.
The other children in the Mo family were different; they weren't afraid of eggs at all and strode forward.
Cao Erdan followed behind, and when they reached the fork in the road, he went home. Before he even entered the door, he shouted, "Mom! Mom! I'm home!"

Upon hearing that there were eggs, Cao San Niang immediately turned around. Oh my! It really was eggs! She instantly smiled and reached out to take them!
Cao Erdan pulled his hand back, "Where's my sister? I'm saving these for her so she can eat eggs every day!"
Cao San Niang's smile vanished instantly. "You little brat, all you know is your little sister. Don't you even know you have a mother?"
"Mother, my little sister needs to eat eggs to grow up!"
