Mo Yunmei appeared out of nowhere and started yelling at a pretty piglet.
Once everyone recognized her, they ignored her, put the piglets in cages, and discussed building a pigpen to raise them.
Mo Yunmei, however, persisted and ran to Old Lady Mo, pleading, "Mom, that piglet is so cute, I like it the most. Please keep that one for me, and you can keep the other one."
Old Mo thought she wanted to raise them herself, saying, "It's not easy to raise them separately. You've never raised them before. Raising them together will make them easier to keep each other company."
Grandma Mo also agreed, saying, "The children all like them, and it's hard to divide them equally. If you can't raise one by yourself, you can raise both together, and whoever has time can feed them."
The children cheered with joy upon hearing this.
Seeing that no one understood her, Mo Yunmei became anxious and reiterated her thoughts, "No, I don't want to raise one, I want a dog!"
Boss Mo understood, his face darkened and his smile vanished, "What are you here for if not to support you?"
Mo Lao Er also asked, "You want to kill it and eat it?"
The children immediately objected, "No! The piglets are so small! They absolutely cannot be eaten!"
Why don't they understand? Mo Yunmei felt she had explained herself very clearly. Wasn't this how she always said things before, and they always agreed? Why don't they understand what she was saying now and keep asking so many questions?
"No! I didn't mean to kill it and eat it!"
Mo Yunmei shouted loudly.
The Qin and Zhao families also sensed something was wrong, and their smiles immediately vanished.
Qin asked pointedly, "Who do you plan to give them to raise?"
Mo Yunmei was overjoyed; finally someone understood. She happily blurted out, "Give it to Sister Qiuxia!"
Everyone's face darkened, and they looked at Mo Yunmei as if she were crazy.
Qin asked again, "Why give her to raise? Can't you raise her yourself?"
Mo Yunmei thought Qin had agreed and said happily, "Sister Qiuxia said she wants to raise a few animals. She's very good at raising them. She asked me to see where she can find any. If there are any extras, she wants me to give one to her! I think this piglet is very nice. Sister Qiuxia will definitely like it! I'll give it to her!"
Everyone was furious after hearing this; this guy's brain is definitely messed up!
Before, when my family was poor and we had nothing, there was nothing for anyone to cheat, so we didn't realize this person was so cunning! Now that our family is better off, their true colors have been revealed!
This person's brain must be completely rotten!
Old Master Mo slapped his shoe and said, "I think you're very easy to take care of. You're the one. Send you to Chen Qiuxia's house, she'll be very happy!"
The sound of shoes did not frighten Mo Yunmei. She argued her case and tried to forcefully suppress other people's opinions with her theories.
Su Nanxi found this person extremely annoying; he was as disgusting as a flea, always popping up and causing a ruckus.
Seeing that his wife's smile had faded, Mo Qinghe's face also turned cold. He felt disgusted and flicked his wrist, causing someone to trip and fall over there.
Old wounds haven't healed, and new ones have been added.
Mo Yunmei couldn't take care of herself, let alone the piglets. She was screaming in pain, even louder than the piglets!
This time, Grandma Mo didn't help her; she let her go into the house by herself, leaning on a cane.
At noon, Su Nanxi wanted to eat chicken, so Grandma Mo caught a chicken, killed it, and stewed it with some mushrooms. The aroma filled the whole house.
Su Nanxi told Mo Qinghe to drink more so he could recover better and his leg would heal faster.
Mo Qinghe misunderstood her meaning. He thought his wife wanted him to get stronger and more manly so she would like to see him. So he happily drank two bowls of chicken soup.
The sun wasn't so scorching in the afternoon, and Su Nanxi ran out again, followed by a string of children.
As the sun began to set, the group of children returned carrying baskets of grass on their backs. Upon arriving, they all instinctively took out the grass, washed it clean, and then laid it out to dry on winnowing baskets.
Old Mo asked in bewilderment, "Why did you cut so much grass? You wouldn't need this much to feed lambs and piglets!"
Mo Qiushuang said crisply, "Grandpa, that's what we're eating!"
Old Man Mo was still puzzled, but Mo Qiushuang had already run far away.
Grandma Mo shouted, "Why do you care so much? Hurry up and finish building this wall!"
"Hey! Coming!"
Before dark, after several people's efforts, they finally built the pigsty, and it looked quite decent.
They put the piglets inside, and a group of people gathered around to watch. They didn't know what they were looking at, but everyone was laughing and joking, which scared the piglets so much that they hid against the wall.
Su Nanxi ignored them and prepared everything she needed for the medicinal bath, except for a bath tub.
Mo Qinghe told her that he had one at home, which he had used before, but it didn't work, so he stopped using it and probably put it in the storage room.
Su Nanxi searched for a long time in the dark and cramped storage room before finally finding it and dragging it out.
A thick cloud of dust rose up, quite a choking sight, but thankfully she was wearing a maskāno, she had a piece of cloth tied around her mouth and nose to cover it.
After washing them clean, they were set aside to dry. Once the rest of the Mo family had finished washing, Su Nanxi brewed the medicinal soup and poured it into the bathtub to cool.
When the water temperature was about right, let Mo Qinghe go into the bathroom to soak.
Unfortunately, Mo Qinghe had difficulty moving around and dawdled for a long time before being able to get into the bathtub.
Worried that the medicine would be ineffective if the water cooled down, Su Nanxi didn't allow him to do it himself. She took matters into her own hands, quickly stripped him naked, picked him up, and put him in the bathtub.
Mo Qinghe knew his wife was quite fierce, but this sudden behavior still made him feel awkward and his whole body was burning with embarrassment. He didn't know if it was because the water was too hot or what.
Fortunately, the bathroom was dimly lit and steamy, making it difficult to see clearly, which was somewhat comforting to him that he hadn't seen anything.
Su Nanxi couldn't really see clearly, only a rough outline. She pressed him down, telling him not to get up and to just hold on a little longer.
She was exhausted. Not only had she been carrying and moving things, but she almost dropped her husband when she tried to lift him. She never expected someone who looked so thin to be so heavy. Why hadn't she felt his weight before?
The medicine took effect, and Mo Qinghe felt his legs were in great pain, which was getting worse. Instinctively, he gripped the edge of the wooden bucket with both hands, his veins bulging, but he still gritted his teeth and persevered.
Su Nanxi knew he was in pain and couldn't help him, so she was also very anxious.
It should be correct. This is the basic dosage, made with spiritual spring water. It should be effective. Let's wait and see!
Feeling that it was about time, Su Nanxi nudged Mo Qinghe, indicating that he could get up.
But Mo Qinghe had exhausted all his strength and couldn't even move to respond to her.
She was terrified and tried to pick him up, but it was difficult because he was wet and slippery. She tried several times but couldn't manage it.
Mo Qinghe paused for a moment, gritted his teeth and cooperated with her, supporting himself on the edge of the bucket with his hands and slowly stood up. Seeing this, Su Nanxi quickly picked him up in her arms.
I gently placed him on the wheelchair, found a towel to dry him off, and then hastily put some clothes on him.
Mo Qinghe closed his eyes, feeling as if all his energy had been drained, and limp as a ball, completely at his wife's mercy. He didn't care about shame anymore; all he could think was that she was his wife, and his body belonged to her, so she could do whatever she wanted.
"Pfft!" A mouthful of blood spurted out.
