Teacher Li noticed that the atmosphere between them was becoming increasingly tense.
He quickly reached out and said, "Don't be angry, don't be angry, don't hit me, don't hit me."
She turned her head and saw that her classmates were all in their seats, watching the commotion with wide eyes.
And no one came to stop it.
Teacher Li felt somewhat exhausted.
I feel like I'm already old even though I'm so young, and my heart is as still as water.
She waited for the little troublemaker in front of her to start causing trouble.
However, Ji Helin, who is usually a bit of a troublemaker, only said this sentence this time and did nothing else.
This surprised Teacher Li.
Ji Helin turned his head and said in a somewhat awkward tone, "I won't bully the little dwarf."
Tang Wan's expression didn't change much; she already knew that most of the children in this class listened to Ji Helin.
Gong Zong raised his head, seemingly finding Gong Xiao behind him uninteresting, and said some very harsh words.
Gong Xiao's hands were clenched tightly, and her head was raised. Her stubborn figure inside the car door seemed rather weak.
Gong Xiao herself has a preference for desserts; for her, those snacks are a kind of condiment that she can do without in her daily life.
Then, slowly raising his head, he said loudly, "Dad, what brings you here?"
Ji Helin suddenly leaned close to Tang Wan, and our noses almost touched.
As for Gong Xiao, she only received a few votes.
However, just as you were getting into a bad position, you saw Ji Helin sit back down in his seat, looking utterly bored, take the key from the drawer, and prepare to leave.
But it didn't make much difference to her.
"Before school ends, Tang Wan, please come to your office so you can discuss how to organize that 'Wild Self-Service' event."
But my surprise was short-lived. Slowly, Che Zhilun recovered and said, still trying to appease me, "Was he thanking you?"
Gong Xiao was slightly taken aback.
The students whispered among themselves, but they didn't think it was because Ji Helin's temper had improved. Instead, they thought it was because the Lu family had adopted Tang Wan.
But I've always been arrogant and proud, so I was naturally willing to settle for just that little bit. So I stiffened my neck, gave a hot snort, and sat back down in my seat.
Gong Xiao hadn't expected that I wouldn't be so interested in Tang Wan.
Despite Ji Helin's arrogance, I truly have no right to be arrogant.
Tang Wan didn't know why Ji Helin suddenly backed down.
"You gave him that chance to shine."
Tang Wan felt the probing gazes fixed on her lower body. Without a trace of unease, she nodded nervously.
You've always seen Che Zhilun as a rival, but that hasn't been the case since we were in kindergarten.
When President Gong saw that Gong Xiao still came down, he frowned and said with disdain, "Why are you being so sensible? Slow down."
It will definitely taste terrible.
Tang Wan looked at Ji Helin with a puzzled expression, and tried to shake her wrist, but failed.
For a moment, it seemed as if you were the only person left outside the classroom.
"He..." Gong Xiao was not used to Ji Helin like that, and wanted to say less, but Che Zhilun turned his head and left.
"He's a disgrace to you."
"The argument he had with the eldest son of the Ji family today was a minor one."
Gong Xiaobei bit her upper lip, her heart filled with resentment.
Tang Wan's ears twitched, then she picked up the tablet, which had the following text written on it.
With his hands resting on the edge of the podium, he began, "Since our family has chosen Tang Wan's suggestion, then let's stick with that theme for your spring flower festival a month ago."
Did Tang Wan realize that she was in a bad mood?
The thought of losing something, yet also being whole, can indeed be devastating.
Gong Xiao, who was standing to the side, went up and then separated the two of them after she came down.
When it was time for school to end, Tang Wan was about to stand up and go to her homeroom teacher's office.
Gong Xiao's lips were tightly pursed; she dared not utter a single word.
A cold voice came from below Gong Xiao's head, making her dare not move.
It looks like a dull, big rabbit.
Tang Wan hurriedly raised her head, her eyes, which resembled grapes, looked clear and bright.
Gong Xiao wanted to say something more to Tang Wan, but then she saw the large figure carrying a tablet, skipping and hopping away.
"You just let him have his way."
As soon as the car door opened, he saw the woman outside.
Her tone was as usual, even mischievous, with a touch of naivety: "Tang Wan, you know, he wants to participate in that event."
The sweet aroma seemed to emanate from the wrapping paper.
Gong Xiao's slender, fair fingers tightened their grip on the candy in her hand, but she said aloud, "Tang Wan, why does he always carry so few desserts?"
But Ji Helin, who was standing next to her, grabbed her wrist.
"He's a very sensible man."
However, a foot wearing a white leather shoe stepped down without any mercy.
The driver outside the house wasn't waiting yet.
So even when he saw Ji Helin waving the ballots behind his back, he remained unmoved.
But in the instant he came down, the fruit candy in his hand fell down.
Teacher Li quietly gave one away, and as she stepped down from the podium, the smile on her face was still lingering.
Gong Xiao gave a sullen reply.
Finally, Ji Helin shook the ballot in his hand, a somewhat wicked smile on his face: "It's a tie."
Even now, they're probably voting for themselves because they want to experience what it feels like to be just one step away from success.
"I'll go with you to apologize to Master Ji."
Just as you were about to lose your temper again, Ji Helin cast his votes for [Wild Self-Service].
