Turus led Tang Wan upstairs, their feet creaking on the old stairs, like the haunted houses in ghost stories.
Turus deliberately lowered his head to look at Tang Wan, whom he was holding hands with.
You know, places like this can easily scare children.
I remember when my younger brother first came to this castle, he was so scared that he cried.
The next day, he boarded a private plane and returned to Germany, vowing never to come back.
The little one, however, simply held his hand without crying or fussing, though his movements as he climbed the stairs were somewhat clumsy.
Onesies are cute, but they can be a bit inconvenient for movement.
Tulus couldn't stand it any longer, so he picked up Tang Wan and muttered, "Lin really doesn't know how to raise a child. How can she dress like this?"
Tang Wan understood.
Toulouse is disgusted with his brother!
She sniffed, reached out and covered Toulouse's mouth, shouting "Ah!"
Turus raised an eyebrow, opened his mouth, and bit Tang Wan's hand.
Then, a look of surprise appeared on Tang Wan's usually expressionless face.
This older brother, he ...
While Turus opened his mouth, Tang Wan quickly withdrew her hand, wiped it with her clothes, and then turned her back to Turus, presenting her buttocks to him.
Turus ruffled Tang Wan's hair and said with a smile, "You're quite protective of your own."
Then he led Tang Wan upstairs and pushed open a magnificent door.
The heavy sound of the door opening was like the sound of the orphanage door opening that Tang Wan had once heard.
She glanced at the door with some curiosity, then her mouth dropped open slightly in surprise at the room's decor.
This room is like a princess's bedroom, filled with countless gorgeous dresses.
There were jewels on it that Tang Wan had never seen before, and words that were too pale for her young age to accumulate.
They are beautiful.
They were spotless and well-preserved.
However, Toulouse picked up one of the pieces, held it up against Tang Wan, and then said, "Schatz (jewel, sweetheart [German]), this suits you."
It was a light blue dress, the hem of which swayed like ocean waves, and with Toulouse's movements, it resembled churning waves.
Moreover, it's the only dress with sleeves.
It is beautiful, so beautiful that no child who dreams of being a princess can resist it.
However, Tang Wan shook her head and refused Tulus.
Every gift bestowed by fate comes with a hidden price. â‘
Tang Wan didn't know what price she would have to pay to wear this dress.
But she is probably not suitable now.
Seeing Tang Wan's indifferent expression, Torus couldn't help but say, "What's so great about his panda outfit? Why do you like it so much?"
Tang Wan didn't speak, she just turned her head away and ignored him.
Although the panda outfit is indeed not as expensive as those luxurious dresses in the world's currency.
But it truly belongs to me.
It is real reality, not a distant, unattainable, and illusory dream.
What she wanted was never an empty wish, but a reality that was within reach and tangible.
Just then, there was a sudden, urgent knock on the door, as if the person who came in had reached their limit.
Torus looked a little awkward, reached out and picked at his ear, muttered a complaint in German, and then carried Tang Wan downstairs.
As they walked, he didn't forget to tell Tang Wan, "Tell Lin that you're having a good time here, and I'll take you to my family's manor."
"There are lots of pretty little dresses over there, much prettier than these fluffy clothes."
Tang Wan nodded casually, then stretched out her panda paw and patted Turus's arm, pointing towards the door while anxiously calling out, "Ahhh!"
Toulous hissed in displeasure and replied in broken Chinese, "You heartless little brat."
Tang Wan shook her head, her panda ears swaying happily, making her look exceptionally cute.
No matter how cute she was, she couldn't make Toulous happy.
This only made Toulouse even more indignant.
Where am I inferior to Lu Lin? He's clearly much better at taking care of kids than Lu Lin!
However, Tang Wan was unaware of what Turus was thinking; she was simply impatient to see her brother soon.
It must be Brother Lu Lin!
Only he would find me immediately!
Tang Wan waited with great joy for Toulouse to open the door.
The moment Thurus opened the door, a fist the size of a sandbag came flying at him.
Toulouse was caught off guard and took a solid punch.
However, he instinctively hugged Tang Wan, ensuring that Tang Wan was not injured despite being "attacked" himself.
As soon as the door opened, Tang Wan saw Lu Lin standing outside. He pursed his lips, reached out, grabbed Tang Wan's hat, and then tried to snatch Tang Wan back from Toulous's hands like pulling a radish.
However, Tulus held onto Tang Wan tightly, saying, "Lin! Let's talk this over!"
"I'll let you raise my brat, and you give me this sweetheart!"
Upon hearing this, Lu Lin raised his foot and kicked Tulus in the shin.
With a loud "Ouch!", Torus released his grip.
Lu Lin held Tang Wan in his arms, covering her face completely and pressing her against him. Then he reached out and covered Tang Wan's ears, yelling at Toulous.
