Chapter Eight: A Gift for Tangtang

The next day, just as dawn was breaking, the dew on the branches fell from the sky, landing on the muddy ground, turning into cheap nutrients, decomposing the yellow leaves that had fallen the day before, and welcoming the next spring.

Tang Wan suddenly opened her eyes, looked at the unfamiliar ceiling above her head, and felt her breathing become rapid.

Then she immediately sat up, straightened the blankets on the bear, pressed her cheek against the chubby bear, tidied her clothes, and walked towards the bathroom in her slippers.

After cleaning herself up, Tang Wan put on long sleeves and trousers, tied her hair into a crooked ponytail with her short arms, and then swayed as she walked downstairs.

As soon as I opened the door, I saw a red gift box on the opposite railing, with words written on it in flowing calligraphy.

[A gift for Tangtang]

This was the first time Tang Wan had received such a formal gift. She was stunned for a moment before stepping forward to open it.

Inside was a tablet about the size of Tang Wan's arm, with a specially customized design on the back.

It's a colorful candy, and it says "Candy's Voice" on it.

Tang Wan was unusually dazed.

But it's not over yet.

There's also a cat-shaped crossbody bag in the gift box, which is just the right size to hold this tablet.

Tang Wan carefully placed the tablet down, then rushed to the kitchen, took out some bread from the refrigerator, heated it in a frying pan, and served it on the table.

Meanwhile, the production crew at the villa's entrance were also ready to begin live-streaming the guests' lives before their departure.

Holding the key given to them by Lu Lin's assistant, they excitedly prepared to open the door.

【Ahhh! Is this Brother Lin's mansion? Why isn't it an estate?】

This is just a place for Brother Lin to stay. The Lu family is very traditional and generally doesn't allow younger generations to live outside for extended periods.

How do you know so much? Do you know the Lu family?

"Ahhh, this fountain is so beautiful! Even a small villa like this is beyond our reach. Waaah, I've been working since the time of the First Emperor and still can't afford it."

[Brother Lin! Brother Lin! You haven't posted a VB video in six whole months!]

The staff outside, seeing the comments getting out of control, quickly waved to signal the host to take control of the situation.

The host understood immediately, and with an infectious smile on his face, he opened the door.

However……

There was only one small, pale yellow ball of a girl in the entire hall. She was holding a white porcelain plate and looked at the camera with a surprised expression.

Then, he quickly tiptoed, placed the white porcelain plate on the table, put the yellow hat from the back of his clothes on his head to cover his head and face, and ran upstairs to the second floor to start knocking on the door.

Even the seasoned host was somewhat at a loss when faced with this scene.

No one told her that the child Lu Yingdi had taken from the orphanage was so cute!

She can even make breakfast, oh my god!

She's practically an angel!

Not only did the host think so, but the viewers in the live broadcast room also thought so.

[Is this little kid Lin's partner? He's so cute, and he even makes breakfast.]

[Her hat is adorable, she's practically a Pikachu from head to toe! The pointy ears on her head and the little tail behind her are so cute.]

Am I the only one who thinks she's incredibly rude? She doesn't even greet people when they come in, and she wanders around in other people's homes. How ill-mannered!

What kind of monsters or demons live upstairs?

To be honest, I also think the little girl was a bit rude, not saying a single word.

People in the world are all different.

Fortunately, Tang Wan couldn't see these malicious words.

She was flustered and a little scared when she saw many strangers suddenly enter the big house.

They were terrified that they would arrest them.

If they take me away, will I have to leave that older brother named "Lin" for the rest of my life?

She didn't want to leave that older brother.

So he scrambled up to the second floor, not even caring that he had lost his fluffy slippers.

Tang Wan was in such a hurry that she slipped on the carpet with her bare feet.

With a "thump," he bumped into the stairs and fell flat on his face.

Her body, hidden beneath her clothes, was screaming in pain everywhere, but Tang Wan had no mind to care about it.

She struggled to her feet, tears welling in her eyes, bit her lip, and ran silently to Lu Lin's room.

Finally, she ran to the door, raised her hand, and pounded on it forcefully, making urgent noises.

"ah!"

"Ahh!"

She was so anxious that her face was covered in cold sweat.

Why isn't the door open yet?

Open the door!

Just when Tang Wan could barely lift her hand, the door finally opened from the inside.

Looking weary, Lu Lin looked down in the direction of the sound and saw the little bean sprout in front of him.

He was half asleep when he checked his phone and realized he had overslept.

Hearing urgent knocking at the door, I quickly changed into my pajamas and rushed out.

Lu Lin squatted down and subconsciously reached out to hug the little girl in front of him, only to see her reddened eyes.

"What's wrong?"

Lu Lin's voice was still hoarse from just waking up, and the equipment downstairs recorded his voice accurately, much to the delight of the viewers in the live stream.

[Ahhh, is that Brother Lin's voice? Wow, can his voice be this gentle?]

[Brother Lin! Did you finally get the instruction manual for your voice? Sob, this longtime fan is so touched!]
