Tang Wan turned her head and saw the back of Fu Wenzhi's head. His head was turned to the side to look at the withered flowers and plants around him, but it did not fall on Tang Wan.
Although Tang Wan felt a little strange, she did not voice her doubts.
She needed to go help in the kitchen, so she turned around, gave Fu Wenzhi a sign, and left the little world.
The gray rabbit ears, adorned with various colors, slipped from Fu Wenzhi's palm. The soft touch felt like a blooming flower. Her departing figure seemed to have taken away the only color in this little world.
Everything began to fade, then was rendered in ink wash.
Finally, in this little world, all that remains is a taste that belongs only to Tangwan.
Mr. Fu appeared behind Fu Wenzhi at some point, frowning as he watched his usually precocious son staring blankly at the gray rabbit in the distance. He asked, "What are you thinking about?"
Fu Wenzhi did not turn around, but simply raised his hand and gently squeezed his palm.
It was as if I wanted to remember the sensation of the rabbit's ears brushing against my palm.
Tang Wan was unaware of what was happening in the backyard. She went to the kitchen to help Turus.
People outside don't know how to cook; it's already a good thing they don't come in and make things worse.
So when Tang Wan went in to help, Tulus had an exaggerated look of joy on his face.
Chris was also dragged in and was processing steamed potatoes, mashing them into mashed potatoes.
He pouted and muttered to himself, not like he was pounding potatoes, but more like he was pounding his unreliable older brother.
He only smiled when he saw Tang Wan come in.
"Tangtang!" Fortunately, Chris now knew that Tang Wan was no longer a rabbit spirit, and he no longer had the intention of taking the little rabbit home. He just hurriedly wanted to run to Tang Wan's side, wanting her to fight against Tulus with him.
However, Tang Wan simply followed obediently beside Tulus, skillfully picking up the food on the table and starting to cook.
Thinking that there were many people outside and that Tulus had not yet started making the main dishes, Tangwan decided to make a very simple braised noodles with green beans.
There happens to be a piece of pork here.
Chris, who was standing to the side, wanted to help Tang Wan, following her around like a little shadow.
His actions immediately displeased Gou Xi and Lu Ze, who were playing games outside.
The reason they stayed outside obediently was because their parents wouldn't let them into the kitchen to kiss Tang Wan. Why should this foreign kid be allowed to go into the kitchen and kiss Tang Wan?
The two little brats exchanged a glance, then each grabbed one of Chris's arms and dragged him outside, saying, "Come on, little blondie, let's play a game together."
Chris was a little younger than them and looked like a chick. He was struggling toward Tang Wan and chirping.
"Help! Help!"
Lu Ze reached out and covered Chris's mouth, dragging and pulling him to the living room, where all that could be heard were Chris's heartbroken cries.
Fu Wenzhi simply sat with Chen Shuo, flipping through a bilingual classic, without saying a word.
Only Chen Shuo frowned slightly and muttered, "So noisy."
Li Yu, who was standing nearby, quickly picked up a glass of water and handed it to Chen Shuo, saying, "Are you thirsty? Drink some water!"
[Yu Yu is truly risking her life to help Shuo Shuo avoid cyberbullying.]
Shuo Shuo's mouth really offends people.
But he's also quite adorable; although he has a sharp tongue, he's incredibly fast when it comes to helping people.
[Sharp-tongued but soft-hearted.]
These kids are all pretty soft-hearted.
Fu Wenzhi stood up and walked towards the kitchen, seemingly preparing to help.
The other children, seeing this, did not react as strongly.
Perhaps in their minds, Fu Wenzhi always acted with discretion, and they trusted him implicitly.
When Su Jiajia saw him go to the kitchen, she got up and prepared to follow him.
But Gou Xi called out to him.
"Su Jiajia, come and play with us!"
As can be seen, Gou Xi was just thinking about what her father had said: she shouldn't play with just one child. She felt that by doing so, she was also isolating herself, which was why she invited Su Jiajia along.
Su Jiajia paused, abandoning her intention to go to the kitchen, and walked towards Gou Xi instead.
Chris struggled for a long time, but in the end he could only join in and play games with them.
The kitchen was bustling with activity.
Although only Toulous was speaking.
"Wow, Tangtang, what are you doing? It smells so good! Can I have a taste?"
Tang Wan nodded, picked up a soft potato from the pot, blew on it, and put it into Torus's mouth.
Turus accepted Tang Wan's offer of food and jumped on the ground in excitement.
"Wow, this is so delicious! It's so flavorful!"
"Tangtang, you're a genius!"
Toulous's praise was straightforward and sincere, making Tang Wan blush slightly.
She lowered her head, tugged at her hat, and hid her blushing face.
Fu Wenzhi, who was about to come in, suddenly stopped and went out again.
When Torus and Tangwan brought out dinner, everyone's stomachs started rumbling.
Toulouse was a man who hated trouble. Apart from seasoning the mashed potatoes, he simply cooked the other dishes without adding anything else.
Instead, they were given a bowl and told to make their own dipping sauce.
but……
Lu Lin narrowed his eyes, watching Tulus pick up the bowl that looked like a basin, and asked, "What are you going to do?"
Turus smiled mysteriously, then came behind Tang Wan, opened the braised noodles Tang Wan had made, and skillfully picked up a large handful of noodles with his chopsticks.
