Chapter Nine: The Lu family can still afford to raise a child.

Lu Lin wiped away Tang Wan's tears and then said, "Okay."

Anyway, with the Lu family's wealth, they can certainly afford to raise a child.

Tang Wan's eyes lit up when she heard Lu Lin's affirmative answer.

Her small mouth was slightly open, and she looked very surprised, especially her expressive eyes, which suddenly lit up.

Lu Lin couldn't resist picking up the little one, then noticed the child frown slightly and asked, "I just heard a thud, did you fall?"

Tang Wan lowered her head, not daring to speak.

She was afraid that if she admitted to falling, Lu Lin would think she was clumsy.

So he lowered his head, feeling somewhat guilty.

Seeing Tang Wan's appearance, Lu Lin touched Tang Wan's knee with his other hand.

Seeing Tang Wan frown again, he knew that the little brat had fallen.

He picked her up and carried her downstairs.

The production crew below had been eagerly waiting for Lu Lin for a long time, and finally their protagonist arrived.

To be honest, when we learned that this little boy had gone to find Lu Lin, everyone was on tenterhooks.

It's worth noting that along with Lu Lin's bad temper, he's also famous for his morning grumpiness.

I never expected this kid to be so brave.

They kept a close eye on what was happening up there, and they heard everything except the little brat's "ah ah ah" sounds.

This was the first time everyone had seen Lu Lin so gentle; his slightly hoarse voice immediately captured everyone's hearts.

Just as the host was about to greet Lu Lin, Lu Lin, carrying the little one, walked to the cabinet without turning his head, took out a first-aid kit, picked up the little one with one hand, and applied medicine to her.

Unlike those restless brats, Tang Wan's main focus is on quietness.

Even though the medicine hurt a lot when it was applied to her wound, Tang Wan didn't make a sound. She just carefully clutched her clothes, her eyes red, looking like she was about to cry.

They are especially pitiful.

The camera captured Tang Wan's face accurately, including her tearful expression.

[I must say, this little guy is really quite good-looking.]

Although she didn't say a word and was quite rude, she was really beautiful.

It looks a bit like a Ragdoll cat.

[No, is it really true that looks are everything? You guys like such a rude kid?]

But she's so quiet, much better than those unruly kids.

Tang Wan was unaware that the comments section was talking about her. She reached out her small hand and tightly gripped Lu Lin's sleeve, as if afraid she would fall.

This action also broke the defenses of some of Lu Lin's fans.

[Seriously, does this little brat even know how expensive Brother Lin's clothes are?! If she scratches them, can she afford to pay for them?!]

Seeing this, Lu Lin casually tucked Tang Wan into his pocket, straightened her clothes, and then looked up at the host.

Then, he slightly raised his eyelids and greeted everyone in a lazy manner: "Hello."

Lu Lin is such a cold and aloof guy.

[Damn it, even when he's sullen, he's still handsome.]

Lu Lin held up Tang Wan in his hand and shook her little paws, as if greeting the audience in front of the camera. However, in accordance with Lu Lin's expression, the way he handled Tang Wan was like teasing a kitten.

Lu Lin: "This is my partner. Her name is Tang Wan. She is a child from Xin Xin Orphanage."

At this point, Lu Lin paused for a moment and shook Tang Wan: "Come on, Tangtang, say hello to all the uncles, aunts, brothers and sisters."

Tang Wan's body was stiff beyond belief, but when she realized that Lu Lin was standing next to her, she felt more confident. She clenched her small hands into fists, as if to cheer herself up.

Then she let go of his hand, took out a tablet computer that was very suitable for Tangwan from her bag, and gestured on it with her fingers.

Then lift it up.

It says on it: Hello!

The audience and the host began to realize that something was wrong.

They were a little nervous and somewhat guilty.

Tang Wan had no idea what they were thinking. She was thinking that she couldn't embarrass her brother Lu Lin, so she tried her best to make her crooked handwriting look nice.

He was engrossed in his work, and at some point, Lu Lin casually put his Pikachu hat back on, making him look rather dazed and adorable.

After a while, Tang Wan raised her arm again, on which was written.

My name is Tang Wan, Tang as in crabapple blossom and Wan as in a gentle smile. I am my older brother's younger sister, and I am five years old this year.

Then, he proudly opened his mouth and exclaimed "Ah!" as if greeting everyone.

Everyone felt a pang of unease, a sense of unease settling in their hearts.

Especially those audience members who said Tang Wan was impolite for not speaking; if there were a crack in the ground, they would have crawled into it on the spot.

[Oh no, what kind of monster am I! Waaah, I'm so sorry!]

[The person who just said Tang Wan was rude probably won't be able to sleep tonight. They might even get up and slap themselves, then yell in their bedroom, "I deserve to die!"]

I deserve to die! +1

I deserve to die!

Lu Lin looked at Tang Wan with a strange expression.

Yesterday, I was right. This little rascal is really smart. He's only five or six years old, but he can write a lot of words.

He seems like a promising student.

Lu Lin's phone kept ringing without stopping.

But he didn't look. Instead, he felt Tang Wan reach out and tug at his collar, point to the table opposite him, and whisper "Ah."
