Chapter Ninety-Four: You Are the Most Important Person to Me

The flashlight beam shone on Fu Wenzhi's face.

The cool lighting cast distinct light and shadow on his still somewhat youthful face, giving him a surprisingly mature appearance.

The bright moonlight shone on them, and fireflies fluttered around them, adorning everything with gentle colors.

The world is colorful, but in Fu Wenzhi's eyes, everything has its own logic.

And that logic would allow him to know how the people and things in front of him would react in the next second.

Except for Tangwan.

She was a completely different color, appearing before Fu Wenzhi in a way that lacked any dazzling light.

She is neither foolishly kind nor weakly timid; she has a core similar to mine.

Tang Wan was more stable, while he himself was more manic.

From a very young age, Fu Wenzhi knew that people should not overthink.

Once a person crosses that safe threshold, they fall into nihilism. ①

But he didn't grasp anything in this world.

Everything in his eyes was two-dimensional, not three-dimensional.

Even his father was the same; in his heart, there was no "anchor" symbolizing the starting point.

He was like someone standing alone in a glass bottle isolated from the world, coldly observing the changing seasons without any real feeling.

Until Tang Wan appeared.

Perhaps it was the obsession she exuded that attracted him.

Or perhaps it was the magnetic field of similar beings that was drawing him in, and his gaze fell upon Tang Wan.

He knew clearly that he was different from Tang Wan.

But everyone is the same in her eyes, isn't that a kind of indifference?

He was eager to know what kind of truth was hidden beneath Tang Wan's tenacious, spring-grass-like personality.

This is probably the truth he wants to grasp.

And now, he reached out and grabbed Tang Wan.

It felt like finally grasping a seemingly elusive but real thread, giving it a tangible sense of reality.

Tang Wan subconsciously tried to pull her hand back, but felt the coldness of Fu Wenzhi's fingers.

This feeling left her momentarily stunned, but the shock was fleeting, and she quickly returned to normal.

It turns out the weather is already this cold.

It made Fu Wenzhi's hands feel like ice.

Fu Wenzhi seemed oblivious to Tang Wan's resistance, walking to Tang Wan's right side on his own. His expression was similar to usual, but his voice was even colder than Leng Yue's.

"I'll go with you."

"This road is not safe."

Tang Wan did not refuse Fu Wenzhi's kindness.

I just felt that the way the two were holding hands was a little too intimate.

A cool breeze blew away the stray hairs around Tang Wan's ears, and her hat was almost blown off her head.

However, the next second, a hand came to Tang Wan's head and silently pressed down on her hat, covering her unease.

It was so quiet all around that only the newly sprouting branches seemed to be playing music.

In the stillness of the night, Tang Wan seemed to feel a gentle stroking on her head.

Fu Wenzhi seemed to be comforting Tang Wan's somewhat uneasy soul, telling her not to be so anxious.

The stars twinkled across the sky, illuminating the entire world.

Finally, they took their first steps and reached the top of the mountain.

Tang Wan slowly raised her head, and what came into view was a bright world, like the sun in the night, dispelling the darkness.

The bright, gentle lights hanging high above offer a warmth far greater than the fireflies on the mountain path.

Tang Wan's dark, grape-like eyes seemed to be touched by these bright lights, as if they were filled with the stars in the sky.

It was as if the stars had entered my eyes.

Gou Xi couldn't wait any longer. She rushed to Tang Wan's side, wearing the same sheep outfit as Tang Wan, and danced a crooked dance around the campfire.

The little ones' movements were a bit clumsy, but their emotions were abundant and their feelings were genuine.

It has a round and chubby appearance, and it's quite cute when it dances.

Two little lambs were dancing over there, and Lu Ze, who was sitting nearby, couldn't sit still any longer. He ran over and jumped around with them.

Fu Wenzhi was not involved.

Such activities were still a bit too lively for him.

The dishes that Tang Wan had prepared at the foot of the mountain were all brought up and placed one by one next to the campfire.

Lu Lin took out a harmonica from somewhere and started playing music for Tang Wan and Gou Xi.

Lu Ze was seriously practicing street dance on the side, while Chris pulled out a drum set from somewhere and gave a series of impromptu performances, which blended quite well with Lu Lin's harmonica.

A group of people were singing and dancing here, and naturally they didn't forget Su Jiajia.

Su Jiajia was so jealous of the lively scene before her that she almost ground her teeth to powder!

My birthday is around the same time as Tang Wan's; her birthday is also around these days.

But in their past lives, they never held such a grand birthday celebration for themselves, and even saying "Happy Birthday" was just a perfunctory gesture!

Su Jiajia thought she could accept that these people wouldn't throw her a birthday party in her life, but she didn't expect the contrast to be so stark that she couldn't stand it at all!

Her hands were clenched into fists, and the look in her eyes as she looked at Tang Wan was anything but kind.

Tang Wan felt a malicious gaze on her. She subconsciously turned her head and saw Su Jiajia's smiling face.

Perhaps it was because of the lighting, but Tang Wan felt that her face looked somewhat gloomy.

When Tang Wan wanted to confirm again, Su Jiajia's expression was already the same as usual.

I can't tell the difference.

The atmosphere on set was so great that the chubby director couldn't help but take pictures for a long time.

Then, with a sigh, she said, "Tangtang is so lucky to have met Brother Lin. She'll have a good life from now on."

The staff member standing nearby shook his head in disapproval.

"She wasn't lucky."

"This is the only way we can see her."

"If, I mean if."

"If parallel worlds really exist, then she probably died a long time ago."

"This world gave her no chance to live."

Upon hearing these words, the chubby director suddenly felt a chill.

Yes, judging from the information he saw, some people didn't want Tang Wan to grow up peacefully at all.

Then he raised his camera and took a few photos of the happy Tang Wan.

Perhaps it's because Tang Wan's past is blank; only now can she truly be considered alive.

After everyone had eaten and drunk their fill, Lu Lin and Tang Wan were alone together.

Looking at Tang Wan's rosy cheeks, Lu Lin squatted down and asked, "Are you happy?"

Tang Wan nodded without hesitation.

Of course I'm happy, I'm happier than Tang Wan has ever been!

So many people are celebrating their birthdays, it's so joyful and lively!

So many people, like bright flames, instantly illuminated their decaying world.

With these thoughts in mind, Tang Wan's eyes sparkled as she quickly used sign language to express herself.

You are the most important person to me.
