"Achoo!" Tang Wan sneezed loudly, then rubbed her nose, ran to the sink, and carefully washed her hands.
Finally, he rushed back to the stove and started cooking for the adults outside.
Finally, through the efforts of Tang Wan and Director Pang, they managed to exchange two baskets of mushrooms for some vegetables and meat.
Lingzhi Tangwan was reluctant to exchange her products; she simply handed them over to the fat director for safekeeping.
She knew that she was there to work for the production team, and that she should dedicate herself to her work. She couldn't spare any attention to take care of the Ganoderma lucidum.
Although she was worried that Director Pang wouldn't take good care of Lingzhi, she had no choice but to reluctantly leave Lingzhi with Director Pang.
The chubby director found it amusing to see the pained expression on Tang Wan's pretty face, so he had his staff take several pictures to release as behind-the-scenes footage.
In the kitchen, only a few children were working hard.
The adults seemed to still be cleaning outside the door.
Fu Wenzhi rolled up his neat and clean sleeves, held a knife just big enough for a child to use, and gestured at the potatoes on the cutting board.
His face, which always showed confidence in handling any situation, now looked as if he were facing a formidable enemy.
This was Fu Wenzhi's first time cooking.
Standing next to Tang Wan, Gou Xi looked at Fu Wenzhi's expression and raised her chin with some disdain.
She looked around, her chin held high.
In her eyes, all these people were there to take Tangtang away from her!
They're all bad!
But it's okay!
Tangtang's best friend is herself!
As Gou Xi thought this, she also wanted to go to Tang Wan's side to help.
However, before she could even reach Tang Wan's side, Lu Ze picked her up and carried her away.
As Lu Ze ran, he explained to Gou Xi, who was whimpering on his shoulder, "No, no, I can't chop all the firewood by myself, you have to come with me!"
Gou Xi: ? ? ?
Enraged, Gou Xi slapped Lu Ze hard across the back, yelling, "How can you be like this? I'm a girl!"
"Have you ever seen a girl chopping wood? It's so unrefined!"
Lu Ze gasped, his shoulders trembling involuntarily.
He doesn't even need to take off his clothes to see where he was just hit; it's probably red again.
Gou Xi, that girl, never holds back when she hits someone.
This time, however, Lu Ze didn't want to compete with Gou Xi.
He led the struggling Gou Xi to a hillside where there were fewer and fewer people.
The increasingly low temperature made Gou Xi shiver involuntarily, and her voice was unusually tinged with fear: "No, are you being so petty? I just hit you, and you're going to retaliate against me?"
"You're not going to throw me off the mountain, are you?"
Lu Ze really didn't want to know what kind of image he had in Gou Xi's heart.
Anyway, Gou Xi couldn't say anything nice.
Without saying a word, he led Gou Xi to the top of the mountain.
After traversing the narrow mountain path, the view suddenly opened up the moment you reached the summit.
Gou Xi was so shocked by the scenery that she forgot to struggle, her dirty little face showing surprise.
The not-yet-intense spring breeze brushed against her face, bringing with it the wind that awakens spring.
The adults who should have been in the living room were now holding hammers and building the behemoth before them.
It was a huge tree, so big that it would take about a dozen children the size of Gou Xi to encircle it.
And from this huge tree, a wooden house “grew” out.
The adults who usually sit upright are now rolling up their sleeves to build this treehouse.
The treehouse wasn't big, it was even a bit small, but that was for adults.
Just right for the kids.
Lu Ze felt the little one on his back stop struggling and finally breathed a sigh of relief. He put Gou Xi down and then said to her mysteriously, "Today is Tangtang's birthday, and we want to give her a surprise."
"You're her good friend, would you like to come along?"
How could Gou Xi refuse?
She knew that Tang Wan had never had a good birthday, so she was willing to arrange a birthday party for her best friend.
Although this birthday celebration may not feature a glamorous dress or expensive jewelry, for these people, what matters most is the time they dedicate to it.
Money is a string of numbers that grows automatically, only time diminishes with use.
Gou Xi went over and started helping the adults move the wooden planks. Soon, a small wooden house was about to take shape.
Meanwhile, after Tang Wan finished preparing the last dish of "Three Delicacies from the Earth" (a Sichuan dish), she turned around to call someone out for dinner, but was mysteriously called aside by the fat director.
Tang Wan walked over, somewhat puzzled, and heard the chubby director whisper, "Tangtang, we left something on the mountain. Could you help us get it back?"
"Brother Lin and the others are also in a hurry to use that thing, they're really anxious."
The chubby director looked somewhat guilty. In the end, he was still not used to deceiving children like this, and his expression made it clear that he was lying.
For some reason, Tang Wan did not write it on the tablet.
She simply nodded obediently, without even showing any curiosity to ask what that unknown "thing" was.
But the director found it strange that her departing figure was so resolute.
Why does Tang Wan's figure look somewhat desolate?
And I feel inexplicably sad?
Tang Wan held a flashlight in her hand and danced with the fireflies in the dark night.
