Suddenly sensing something, Shen Bai stood up and ran outside.
"Little White, where are you going?"
Song Yun had originally asked Steward Li to kick the two people out, but then he saw Shen Bai suddenly run out, so he quickly chased after him.
Chen Jiao and Acheng stood under a tree in the yard.
Neither of them noticed that the black package in Chen Jiao's hand actually moved.
Upon seeing Shen Bai run out, Chen Jiao was overjoyed.
"Young Master Bai, I am Chen Jiao, the one you saved that day."
She spoke softly, not wanting others to hear.
Shen Bai remembered; it was the one who arranged the ghost marriage.
"It was my grandmother who arranged this ghost marriage for me. Luckily, you saved me that day. Thank you, Young Master Bai."
After Ah Cheng and Chen Jiao returned, they realized that it wasn't Shen Bai who caused Chen Jiao's situation, but Chen Jiao hadn't told him that Shen Bai knew about such things.
Chen Jiao and Shen Bai were talking quietly to each other, but A Cheng didn't listen and just waited on the side.
Then I saw Song Yun walk out with a cold face.
Didn't I tell you to leave?
Ah Cheng lowered his head and said, "Young Master, it's my fault."
Song Yun didn't want to talk to him and wanted to go over to Chen Bai's side.
What does this maid want to do? Why does she want to speak to Shen Bai alone?
Seeing the two of them alone together, Song Yun gritted his teeth.
However, Shen Bai had already taken the black bundle from Chen Jiao's hand. Shen Bai opened it and found an old compass that looked to be many years old.
Shen Bai nodded and took the compass and walked back.
Song Yun frowned:
"What is this? He won't allow children to have things of unknown origin here."
"Of course it's good stuff, you idiot."
