Chapter 6 Little White Gets Lost

Song Yun seemed somewhat distracted throughout the meeting, but he didn't miss a single person who was supposed to be criticized.

The requirements become even more stringent as you progress.

Before some project managers had even finished speaking, Song Yun would throw his proposal onto the table:

"Rework it; we need to see results by tomorrow."

After saying that, he got up and left.

The project manager, who had been standing to give his report, suddenly collapsed into his chair, his legs giving way. The person next to him patted him on the shoulder to comfort him.

"It's alright, President Song shouldn't be angry."

Those who hadn't reported yet looked anxious; it would be their turn tomorrow.

Oh no, will I be in an even worse mood tomorrow?

Some people, however, looked like they had just survived a disaster.

"Don't panic, maybe the president will be in a better mood tomorrow."

Song Yun walked out of the company and went straight to the underground parking lot.

For some reason, he felt uneasy, and all he could think about was the child crying with tears streaming down his face.

He got into the car and said to Xiao Li:

"Back to the Song residence."

Mr. Li felt that the president was acting strangely today.

The CEO is usually working at this time, why does he suddenly want to go back today?

But he was just a driver and had no right to ask any more questions, so he could only step on the gas and drive toward the Song residence.

The journey wasn't long, and they arrived quickly.

When Song Yun returned home, he looked around the villa's living room, his brow furrowed, and asked Butler Li:

"Where is Chen Bai?"

Butler Li looked around, somewhat puzzled. They were just here a moment ago, how could they have disappeared so quickly?

"You were just eating fruit here. Maybe you were tired and went back to your room to rest?"

Song Yun nodded and went upstairs by himself.

He went to the room, but it was empty; there was no one there at all.

Song Yun opened the dressing room again, but it was still empty.

He felt a little panicked and thought of a certain possibility, so he started searching on the second floor.

Finally, at the corner of a balcony, I saw the little figure hugging me tightly.

Song Yun's eyes stung at the sight, and he quickly walked over.

Lost?

The deep voice unconsciously became very soft, as if afraid of frightening the child.

Shen Bai heard the sound and looked up.

It's Song, what was Song again?

He had forgotten, thinking it was a dream, and found it hard to believe.

Song Yun knelt down and wiped away the tears from the corners of the child's eyes:

"Why are you crying?"

His words carried a gentleness he himself was unaware of, which made Shen Bai feel even more aggrieved.

Xiaobai is stupid; Xiaobai can't find the way out.

Shen Bai's lips trembled, and large tears began to fall.

He was a little mute, and even when he cried, his tears fell silently, which made everyone who saw him feel sorry for him.

Song Yun sighed inwardly and picked up the child.

Shen Bai was very light, and compared to Song Yun, she was tiny.

"You look so pitiful. Don't cry, I'll take you downstairs."

Shen Bai instinctively wrapped his arms around his neck, trying to look around at the corridor and memorize the way.

But no matter how I look at it, it all seems the same, and I can't remember it at all.

Song Yun carried him back to his room.

It was in a familiar environment that Chen Bai stopped crying.

Song Yun carried him to the sofa and wiped his face with a tissue.

"Have you remembered the path we came from?"

Shen Bai thought about the passageway outside and shook his head.

It's too difficult; a beginner really can't remember it.

"It's okay, Xiaobai just arrived here today, it's normal that he doesn't know the way."

This was the first time he had ever been so patient with someone, but he treated it like taking care of a child.

It's just a child, can't speak, and is both stupid and silly.

She cursed herself inwardly for meddling in other people's business. If she hadn't suggested the marriage alliance, she wouldn't have had to take care of a little fool.

Now look what happened, they really brought this on themselves.

"Stop crying."

In fact, Shen Bai makes no sound when he cries; he just sheds tears silently.

But Song Yun felt very annoyed. Tsk, this little fool is just being dramatic.

He suddenly spoke in a deep voice: "If you cry again, I'll break your legs."

Shen Bai trembled with fright at his words, her eyes filled with disbelief.

He pulled his leg back a little, so that it wouldn't be broken.

This person is wicked; he always tries to break Xiaobai's legs.

Shen Bai dared not cry anymore, fearing that the bad guys would really break his legs.

But the tears kept flowing uncontrollably, so Shen Bai kept his eyes open, hoping that the tears wouldn't fall.

His thoughts were almost written all over his face. Song Yun took a deep breath and picked up a tissue to wipe his tears.

"This is really troublesome."

He called Butler Li:

"Bring up some afternoon tea."

The room is very large, with a huge floor-to-ceiling window on one side of the sofa, through which sunlight streams in.

The sunlight shone on Shen Bai's body, making her already fair skin appear even whiter.

Shen Bai frowned; he remembered.

He came upstairs looking for his phone and his small bag.

Chen Bai tugged at the hem of Song Yun's crisp suit jacket and gestured with his hands:

I'm looking for my phone and my small bag.

Song Yun watched him gesture with his hands, his fingers slender and fair. This little guy really lived up to his name, his whole body was fair.

Seeing that he was ignoring him, Shen Bai became anxious again. He reached out and tugged at Song Yun's sleeve, even shaking it.

Is she being affectionate?

Shen Bai blinked. What was this "acting cute"? He just wanted his little bundle of joy.
