Chapter 83 Dreaming



Shen Bai was sobbing, but when she felt the sunlight streaming in, she opened her eyes.

With her long hair haphazardly draped behind her, Shen Bai blinked as she looked out the window, then looked down at herself and Song Yun.

He reached out and tugged at his clothes, then looked at Song Yun.

He pouted, buried his face in Song Yun's arms, and looked at the city view outside the window.

Song Yun felt inexplicably relieved. If he had known that the child was having the same dream as him, he would never have done that.

But he couldn't possibly let the child know.

"Baby, did you have a nightmare? What did you dream about?"

Shen Bai, who was huddled in his arms, grabbed Song Yun's collar and shook his head.

[I don't want to tell the giant squid about how he bullied me. The giant squid is so mean; he even tried to spank me again.]

And this time, they're going to beat me up again. That's too much.

Song Yun frowned. In his dream, it seemed that he wasn't going to hit him.

Could it be that it wasn't the same dream, and he was mistaken?

He looked at Shen Bai, suppressing his doubts. Oh well, it must just be a coincidence.

He raised his hand and rubbed his pale head:

"Don't be afraid, I'm here, I will always protect you."

Shen Bai buried her head in his chest and ignored him.

Song Yun didn't mind, and carried him to the desk to sit down, letting him sit in her arms.

"Drink some water, it's okay, it was just a dream."

Song Yun kept emphasizing this, afraid that the child would mistake him for the "bad guy" in his dream.
