Chapter 27: Candy

Lu Jingqing took the prescription and left with his daughter.
There was silence outside the ward for a moment.
After a moment, Director Li was the first to break the silence: "Mrs. Bai, Mrs. Xu, you can go into the ward to see Mrs. Lu. I will come back to check on her later."
Bai Yao smiled and nodded. When Director Li and a group of doctors left, she looked at Xu Wei's delicate face and a flash of disgust flashed across her face.
He said in a cold voice: "I just said a few words to Fu Zhi? My second brother took her away, what does he mean? As an elder, I can't educate a young man who is not in tune with the rules, right?"
