On a plateau in the Fallen World of Kaslopa, a powerful magical creature leaned against a huge rock.
It looks like a three or four meter tall upright brown strange insect. Its head is a bit like a mole cricket, but its eyes are not compound eyes, but flesh eyes with eyelids, and it is a creature that walks upright.
It has two pairs of arms and two pairs of legs. Although some exoskeleton shells can be seen on its hands, the joints are extremely flexible and the fingers are very dexterous.
It was covered with a strange gray-brown woven fabric that looked neither like cloth nor straw, and it was unclear if it was its clothes.
It's dark here, and as for the light source, the beautiful blue and green world looking up is the most eye-catching.
There was little wind, and even on this dry plateau, the stench of decay was pervasive.
While the insect man was dozing off, he heard subtle noises, some coming from far away and some from the sky.
Soon, some small dots appeared in the sight, and before long they were getting closer and closer at an extremely fast speed.
The sleepy insect man magic being stood up straight, and the magic power on his body swept in front of him.
Rumble, rumble, rumble…
The ground shook slightly, countless dust and debris were blown away, and some huge rocks slowly rose from the ground.
In less than half a minute, a huge clean area was formed around, with many large and small stones forming simple stone benches and stone tables.
Some of these stones are only one or two meters square, while others are dozens of square meters in size, and their heights range from one meter to dozens of meters.
This was obviously a newly decorated venue.
After a short while, the figure that was originally far away had already approached the venue.
There are huge giants covered with withered vines, strange birds flying in the sky, slender beast-like creatures, and even creatures that look very much like fish...
In total, dozens of almost identical creatures came, each emitting powerful magical fluctuations, causing the surrounding space to exhibit some kind of gravitational twist.
“Bang” “Bang” “Bang”…
As the ground shook slightly, a huge figure approached. A Cyclops several dozen meters tall, carrying a huge black rock pillar, stepped into the venue first.
"Dang~"
The giant pillar was placed on the ground, and it made a metallic sound when it hit the hard rock layer.
"Akrodotus, you are the first one to arrive."
The giant spoke in a magical language, and then sat down on a huge rock that was proportional to its size.
"As the initiator, I should naturally arrive early."
The mole-shaped insect man nodded to the giant. The two must have a good relationship as they were very relaxed talking to each other.
"Buzz...buzz..."
A strange, ear-tickling sound approached, like the buzzing of mosquitoes on Earth, but not nearly as noisy, sharp, or loud.
The giant wrapped in dead vines subconsciously reached for his black pillar but held back.
"You actually called the guy from the Rotten Realm?"
One could hear a hint of dissatisfaction and doubt in the words.
The mole man glanced at the sky.
"I didn't call them. They came here on their own. But now that they are here, please restrain yourself a little, my friend."
"Humph, as long as they don't be ungrateful!"
On the other side, a leather-armored beast-like upright creature with a single horn on its head, which seemed to be moving slowly but was actually very fast, also approached the venue and sat directly next to the two parties who were having a conversation.
It is smaller than the mole-shaped insect man and is roughly the same size as an ordinary human.
"I hope so too. If those annoying buzzing guys dare to make me unhappy, I won't care about your face, Achlodos!"
As he spoke, a halo flashed from his horn.
"Hehehe...long time no see, old friend!"
Some of the magical creatures that arrived spoke, while others sat in silence. It was obvious that this magical creature named Akrodos had a certain influence, and no one did anything unnecessary.
Because of the gathering of these huge magical powers, a depressing wind blew near the plateau, and the surrounding space was filled with a heavy feeling. A lot of ashes and dust rolled away from the venue.
The insect man walked to the huge rock he had been leaning on and jumped up lightly. On every rock in the venue were various creatures sitting, leaving no stone empty.
Everybody looked at it.
"Everyone, you came here to prove that you still have reason in your hearts. Regardless of other things, this alone is worth being comforted! Because we have not sunk along with the world!"
The insect man didn't say much compliment, but went straight to the point, raising one of his arms with gray-brown weaving and stretching it toward the sky.
"This is the unknown world that is now colliding with Kaslopa! So beautiful and so mysterious!"
All beings present subconsciously looked up at the sky, their magic power became uncontrollably agitated, and some tiny cracks appeared in the solid rocks around the venue.
This is because they are controlling their magic power and it has not exploded, it is only because of the fluctuations caused by their minds.
The insect man observed the reactions of every participant, paying special attention to those who made mosquito-like sounds and were surrounded by black mist or shadows.
"Yes, just by looking at that beauty, it is not difficult to imagine that it is a desirable world. The Caslopa that was once favored by the legendary Medland Law no longer exists. The world has been dead for a long time... There are dangers everywhere here, and corruption is rampant."
These words seemed to arouse desire, but the insect man narrowed his eyes and changed the subject.
"But, in the distant memories I inherited, beautiful things are often dangerous!"
"Kaslopa has long since fallen. Our ancestors, like us, have given up on finding out what the once sacred world was. It seems that it has fallen to this point. Over the long years, our world has been sinking deeper and deeper, and we have long lost the possibility of connecting with other worlds."
The insect man looked up at the sky again, the blue and green reflected in his eyes.
"But why did Kaslopa run into this world? Why? Was it because of us, or was it..."
It stretched out its hand and pointed toward the sky.
"We are sinking into the endless void. What is underneath? What is waiting for Kaslopa? I'm afraid we have never imagined that this situation would be like this!"
During this process, the insect man once again observed the reactions of the people around him, remained silent for a short while, and then continued.
"Those guys in the west have gone crazy... The contact point caused them to run to the other side regardless of everything..."
The magical creatures present naturally understood what it meant, and in fact, there were quite a few who were ready to make a move.
"I believe that if it weren't for the barrier of the world's power that made it difficult to pass through, some of you here might have already passed through, right?"
When saying this, the eyes of the insect people and many beings around them were focused on the figures in the black fog, and those few did not react, as if they agreed.
The giant thought for a while and then broke the silence.
"I've been near one of the contact points. I can feel the vitality there. It seems that those contact points in the split only allow entry but not exit. At least I haven't seen anything come back."
A sharp, buzzing sound suddenly rang out from the black fog outside.
"Maybe it's too beautiful there and I don't want to come back. Besides, what kind of rationality can those people in the west have?"
The people present gradually began to discuss and express various ideas. In general, they were actually talking about the same thing, that is, curiosity about the other world.
“Pah…”
It was still that insect man who used his four palms to create a light breeze, making everyone quiet down.
"It's not like nothing from the other world has fallen into our hands."
After saying that, he dragged out from behind the boulder where he was, a strange thing that no one present had ever seen before.
Some of them have smooth surfaces that can reflect the surroundings, while some of them have a lot of dense lines and appear extremely broken in the middle, as if they contain a lot of tiny substances.
The insect man's hand gently touched the object.
"This is an alien object that fell from the dark place outside the sky. It is something constructed with ingenuity. It does not have any magical aura or magic patterns."
"But no matter how carefully I observe, I can never see the bottom of its structure. It seems that there are always infinite fine substances forming the foundation, and the tiny parts are arranged neatly and contain some rules that I cannot understand..."
The insect man gently took out a broken integrated circuit, on which there was something like a CPU core.
"This is a very terrifying thing... I can't imagine what it looks like when it is intact, and what its function is... But this kind of creation cannot be found even after searching through ancient memories... It has never existed, and has never been recorded!!"
These words made everyone present nervous. In fact, many of them would not think so much about it. Even if they saw the wreckage, they would just be surprised at most.
But once you are inspired by the insect man, you have to think deeply with it, because even if there are disputes, you have to admit the wisdom of Akrodos.
"Indeed, Kaslopa is too big and too dangerous. Since we were born, this perilous world has kept us from going too far beyond the areas we are familiar with. The weirdness in the chaos and the fallen monsters are all incomprehensible. Unknown areas often harbor deeper dangers, and we don't get to know many rational beings."
"Suddenly seeing this strange world makes me feel fascinated, but since we were born here and have been suppressed in depravity for so long, why not wait a little longer?"
…
After a long time, everyone in the venue dispersed, leaving only a dozen people who were relatively familiar with each other.
The giant spoke after a moment's hesitation.
"The touch of severance is not enough to allow us to pass. Those who can endure it now may not be able to endure it when the time comes. Achrodotus, I'm afraid not many people can stick to your idea."
"There is no need to persist until the end. We just need to wait until those wild and corrupt places, the weird and dormant crises awaken and pass..."
The insect man's eyes were vague and his voice was emotionless.
