Chapter 25

Chapter 25

Finally, Jiang Yi had no choice but to take the large bag of snacks he had given her back to her dormitory.

When she returned to the dormitory, her group of roommates came running after her.

During this National Day holiday, none of their roommates left the dormitory.

Some go out to play during the day and don't go home at all; others have part-time jobs and don't go home either.

So, that night, the group of them gathered in their dormitory.

The group had just been discussing whether she would come back, and before they could even finish their sentence, they saw her walk in carrying a large bag of snacks. Her roommates looked at each other in surprise and exclaimed, "Jiang Yi, did you... rob a supermarket?"

We've been roommates for almost a month now, and we all know Jiang Yi very well. Although she's not exactly stingy, she's a bit of a penny-pincher. She won't spend money unnecessarily.

Even though she was the richest person in the entire dormitory.

Although some of her roommates came from wealthier families, they were extravagant spenders who would squander any money their parents gave them. As a result, Jiang Yi, who had her own little savings, was arguably the richest person in their dorm.

She doesn't usually like snacks, so where did this huge bag of snacks come from?

The answer is immediately obvious.

Guan Nini, who knew the most about the situation, immediately came over happily and said with a grin, "Which handsome guy gave it to you, right?"

"What was that handsome guy's name again?"

"Xu Wang."

"Oh right, right." Guan Nini realized, then remembered the handsome guy's low-key manner, and said, "The name Xu Wang seems a bit... unsuitable for him."

If he lived up to his name, he should have kept Jiang Yi at the hotel tonight and had a passionate encounter with her, but instead he let her go.

Jiang Yi thought of the reason why they had a conflict back then, and thought to herself that they were actually quite compatible.

However, looking back now, it was definitely wrong of them to have a conflict, since it was just a very small matter at the time.

You could even say it wasn't a single event; people were just trying to help her, but what did she actually do?

Thinking about what had happened before, Jiang Yi suddenly felt a little annoyed.

Seeing Jiang Yi's brows furrowing and relaxing, Guan Nini, who was standing next to her, looked puzzled and asked, "What's wrong with you? Why are you happy one minute and unhappy the next?"

"Did you upset her because you didn't stay at the hotel to spend the night with her?" Song Qiuqiu, the quietest-looking girl in their dorm, asked at this moment.

Jiang Yi was stunned when she heard what they said.

What?

"What kind of night?" she asked incredulously.

Guan Nini winked knowingly and said, "She came all the way to see you. Don't tell me, she's not some lover."

Jiang Yi: "..."

But believe it or not, it really isn't.

However, she didn't know how to explain it herself, and could only mutter, "It's not what you think. He and I are just friends."

"friend?"

"right."

"What kind of friend? Is it someone you've kissed or someone you've slept with?"

The more they talked, the more outrageous it became. Jiang Yi was impressed by these seemingly proper but actually unreliable and lecherous women. After handing them the snacks and letting them share them, she lay down on the bed, hugged her thighs, and sat on the bed thinking about how Xu Wang had inexplicably appeared there.

Many of these snacks are imported, and some are so expensive they're jaw-dropping. Song Qiuqiu's home already has the best food in the dormitory, but she still couldn't bear to buy such a large bag of snacks.

After sharing the snacks with her roommates, who had never eaten so much good food before, they saw Jiang Yi sitting on the bed looking troubled. The roommates quickly climbed up to her, nudged her shoulder, and asked, "Tell me, what's bothering you?"

Jiang Yi looked at the other girls in the dormitory and told them about something that was bothering her, saying, "Actually, it's not a big deal."

"We had a small argument over a year ago, and now he's suddenly showing up here. I feel, how should I put it, there's a strange feeling I can't quite put my finger on."

Another girl in the dorm, Jiang Lingyue, had dated quite a few people and was already a seasoned veteran. She understood Jiang Yi's situation perfectly. Seeing Jiang Yi's annoyed look, she said directly, "What else could it be? She likes you, so she took the initiative to come and make up with you."

When Jiang Yi heard her roommate suddenly say that Xu Wang liked her, she was stunned. Xu Wang liked her? How could that be?

She said, "But he's the son of my mother's employer."

She didn't have such a strong sense of class, after all, she was a time traveler, but she always felt that the two of them were impossible, since she didn't like him either.

When her roommate heard that she was actually the employer's child, she immediately became excited.

Song Qiuqiu, who also enjoys writing novels online and likes to think about all sorts of character settings in her spare time, immediately said excitedly upon hearing her words: "Young Master and the nanny's daughter, great, you two talk it out, and you can provide me with writing material."

Jiang Yi turned her head and rolled her eyes at her.

He said, "Don't use me as material for your novels."

Song Qiuqiu chuckled, then said somewhat guiltily, "What if I actually become a pimp?"

"Then you should die."

As he spoke, he ran over and tickled Song Jiujiu's armpits.

So the group started making a ruckus, and loud laughter echoed from inside the dormitory. Hearing the laughter, the students from the next dormitory rushed over. Seeing the group fooling around and a lot of snacks on the table, they grabbed a few bags of snacks before leaving.

After the lights were turned off at night, Guan Nini and the others stopped making a fuss.

Seeing that Jiang Yi seemed genuinely uninterested, Guan Nini asked, "Are you really not interested in that handsome guy at all?"

Jiang Yi shook her head and said, "No."

Guan Nini had already taken the photos and shown them to her roommates. They all knew that the person who came to see Jiang Yi was an extremely handsome guy, even more handsome than their school heartthrob. Everyone was quite disappointed that he wasn't interested in Jiang Yi.

Of course, they were also a little tempted to get Jiang Yi's WeChat, but when they thought about how the handsome guy only had eyes for Jiang Yi, they decided not to embarrass themselves.

Jiang Yi didn't sleep well that night. When she woke up the next day, Guan Nini asked her to continue her part-time job, but she thought about it and realized that Xu Wang was all alone in this unfamiliar place. Since they were already here, it would be nice for her to take some time to accompany him around.

Thinking this, she sent Xu Wang a message early in the morning, saying that she was going to the hotel to find him.

Xu Wang had thought she was going to work a part-time job today, but he didn't expect her to come over. He raised an eyebrow and said okay.

I had originally planned to go out and explore by myself, but in the end I obediently waited for her at the hotel.

When Jiang Yi got downstairs, she sent a message to Xu Wang, and he came down not long after.
