Chapter 293 The Assassin is Fierce

After saying that, he suddenly slashed his sword at the golden net, and with a loud bang, he cleaved the net open. The ancient dragon, carrying several dragon eggs, fled from inside and quickly ran into the forest to hide.

Having saved the dinosaurs, Xie Zhou must leave immediately.

This mountain is both incredibly magical and extremely dangerous, fraught with peril, and it is not a place to linger.

When Xie Zhou returned to the Immortal Sword Sect, someone wanted to use her flowers and spirit insects for experiments.

This is such a magical thing, it must be studied carefully.

After discussion among the members of the Sword Immortal Sect, it was decided to use the spirit insects and flowers as offerings to the heavens, praying for divine protection so that the Sword Immortal Sect could flourish and prosper.

But Xie Zhou, of course, wouldn't agree, and immediately rejected the Sword Immortal Sect's people. He even gave the spirit insect a name: Rou Rou (Meatball).

Time flies, and it was already the morning of the next day.

Xie Zhou did nothing all day.

He didn't hone any skills, nor did he go down the mountain to rob the rich and help the poor. He just stayed on the mountain with Rou Rou, and would occasionally look at the flower mark on her forehead.

The people of the Sword Immortal Sect want to study meat.

And Xie Zhou was no different.

Rou Rou is truly amazing. As soon as she licks a wound, it heals instantly, without any pain or itching. Her knife wound is now completely undetectable.

Xie Zhou was also wondering what was going on with this amazing thing.

Xie Zhou played with the meat in her hand, and the meat slowly moved and crawled onto her arm. Then, it even dared to crawl onto her face, making her giggle with ticklishness.

Before we knew it, it was evening again.

Xie Zhou lay resting in his room. The window was slightly ajar, swaying gently in the breeze, making a clattering sound. The round moon hung in the sky. The crickets in the yard were chirping loudly, but after a while, they stopped.

It seems something has happened that startled them.

An assassin, dressed in a black bodysuit and carrying a sword, cautiously made his way from the courtyard into Xie Zhou's room.

Xie Zhou was sleeping soundly, unaware that an assassin had come to kill her.

But the spirit insect had already noticed. And with its own abilities, it subdued the assassin and even got him to reveal his true feelings.

He didn't come for anything else, but specifically for the meat.

The assassin heard that Xie Zhou had obtained the magical meat, so he wanted to take it for himself.

After the assassin spoke his true feelings, his eyes suddenly lit up with a chilling light. He unleashed the evil energy within him, which slowly rose up, and at this moment, it seemed that no one could subdue him.

Rou Rou had no choice. Seeing the assassin in front of her, she suddenly transformed and quickly hid under Xie Zhou's pillow.

The assassin, carrying a sword, intended to kill Xie Zhou first and then take her flesh.

But then, the boy suddenly reappeared.

Just as the assassin's sword was about to strike Xie Zhou, the boy suddenly lunged at the assassin and tumbled around with him.

The boy's appearance was strange.

But this assassin was even more bizarre; he not only amplified the evil energy within himself, transforming himself, but he also transferred that evil energy to the boy.

The foul stench seeped into the boy's nostrils, mouth, eyes, and ears—every hole—instantly distorting his appearance; his eyes turned bloodshot, and his lips turned purple.

He couldn't control the evil energy within him, which was spreading little by little.

The boy is now essentially the assassin's second clone.

The assassin wants to kill Xie Zhou and take Rou Rou away.

The boy must help the assassin kill Xie Zhou and take Rou Rou away.

Fortunately, the boy still had a sliver of consciousness. Just as the sword was about to pierce Xie Zhou's body, he suddenly pulled it back and shouted, "Master!"

Xie Zhou woke up immediately upon hearing this, jumped up, grabbed the Peerless Sword, and thrust it back, piercing the boy's heart.

As the peerless sword pierced down, black gas was seen gushing out of the boy's chest. All the evil energy he had inhaled was expelled by Xie Zhou's peerless sword.

The boy reverted to his true form and regained consciousness. He shook his head, turned around, glared at the assassin, and said, "It's you. How dare you try to harm my master! I'll fight you to the death!"

The boy was a child who had just begun to cultivate and had transformed from a flower into human form. His abilities were not particularly high.

He had already been seriously injured when he rescued Xie Zhou on the mountain. Now he was no match for this assassin. He only exchanged a few blows with the assassin before being subdued and lying on the ground, incapacitated.

Xie Zhou had just woken up and had no idea what had happened in her house.

She only knew that she had a flower and a spirit worm, but she didn't know where this boy came from.

Who is this boy?

He had saved his life on the mountain before. Now he was back in his house, trying to kill him with a sword.

Is he a friend or foe?

Xie Zhou sat on the bed, staring blankly. He didn't know which one to help.

Are they helping teenagers?

Or should we help the assassin in black?

Or perhaps we should simply not help either of them. They might be in cahoots; let them fight it out, sit back and watch them fight it out, and then step in to reap the rewards once they've fought enough.

Xie Zhou thought to himself.

But just then, Xie Zhou's system suddenly beeped.

"Master, hurry and save that boy!"
