The next second, the bed turned to ashes.
"My goodness! Thank goodness I woke up early and hid quickly, otherwise I would have turned to ashes!"
Xie Zhou patted her chest, constantly comforting her. She didn't know whether she should be happy or sad about the scene.
"What are you doing?! You scared me to death!"
When Xie Zhou looked closely, he saw that Feng Lingxue was actually fighting with Lingfeng.

Xie Zhou swallowed hard; sweat was practically dripping from his head.

Xie Zhou prayed desperately in her heart, her heart pounding wildly.
"This child is kind-hearted and doesn't seem like the type to lie. And look at how she protected that little demon just now, did you see anything?"
Feng Lingxue stood next to Xie Zhou and patted him on the shoulder, signaling him not to be nervous.

The system burst into laughter, rolling around on the floor laughing.

Xie Zhou cursed the system viciously.
